  1. safe to say everyone who enjoys rooting for this team is frustrated with the lack of success the Ravens have had with all the promise Flacco and the Ravens showed. The Ravens have not been the perennial playoffs contender we all thought they would be. The reality is that the problems do not begin or end on one side of the ball or a player for that matter. Luck has not been on our side over the last couple of years, can you imagine what could have been if Kubiak stayed with us and Flacco? we are all frustrated
  2. I haven't heard that guys name is a LONG time
  3. Maybe it's a sign he won't be starting anymore and to be honest I don't think he should because he can not block. We drafted Maxx way to high to keep him on the bench
  4. Exactly, no run game or defense and all of the sudden the ship sunk.
  5. Any guy, offense or defense....as long as we feel he is the best pick there. I watched Fournette since last year, would be nice to have a real RB again...Dixon shows promise though.
  6. I have been saying this for a while, can you imagine Ray in Kubiaks system with Flacco? His off the field misconduct set us back in my opinion worse than any released player or injury we had. That being said, nobody knows just how effective he was going to be considering he looked bad his last year with us. He was positioning himself that year to have a big year, lost weight and was healthy. What a pity, I hope he and his wife found the peace they needed to never harm each other and disrespect each other anymore. That was disgusting and shameful. I miss Ray Rice
  7. Wallace played well, why would we release him?
  8. Game managers don't win Superbowl MVP........but go on. You're right, the front office made a mistake and should have let Flacco walk after a SB season? Are you nuts? You know how far it would have set us back? Do you even realize how few Qb's even play well in the playoffs? Flacco deserves criticism, but to call him a game manager? Seriously? Did you call him that when we went to the SB? Or when we were close to knocking out the Pats with Kubiak? Flacco has lost trusted targets and an O-line which included Matt Birk....
  9. I agree with you, as the year went on his mechanics improved and his pocket awareness did to. All in all and I was much happier in the 2nd half of the season with him, that being said the production from the defense dipped and when called upon he did make some HORRIBLE throws (Eagles game) He needs to play better, and he will now that he has had a year to comeback from that injury and an O-line coming back healthy
  10. You have no idea how big a deal Julio Jones is for an offense do you? He is arguably the best WR in the league. He lines up everywhere and does every single thing a WR can do on the field with better hands than ODB (spectacular catches don't mean a thing over sure hands, ask Eli yesterday) We do not ignore Joe and his struggles, but your point was Matt leading or should I say carrying the team without Julio and that just is not true.
  11. Who else knew that Julio missed half a season?

He played in 14 games this year...

my point lol, somebody on the forums tried to convince me he was out for half the year

    3. The Mom Gene

      The Mom Gene

He was on my fantasy team...  He had only a few good games.  I might say that he had an "unhealthy season" at best. About half of hos games were a waste as a #1.

  12. LMAO I was waiting for someone else to catch that. If we are going to critique Joe then let's do it. Do not pretend like his team has anywhere near as much talent as other teams because that's a lie.
  13. Guess which running back leads the league this year with TD's....NEVER EVER GUESS lol
  14. He actually missed 2 games. But you know....same thing as half a season....
  15. Julio missed what??????????????????????????
  16. They at least give him very good O-line. remember those commercials with his offensive lineman? lol they were funny
  17. by far the weakest division, I live in South Florida so I'm forced to watch the Bills, Jets, and Miami do nothing. Brady when he makes his runs to the SB always has talent around him. Brady has done more usually with less on offense compared to Manning.
  18. again, who does? this isn't basketball where one player can will his team on both sides of the ball....there are over 30 players coming in and out of ONE game
  19. Who can? there are too many pieces on a team for a QB as talented as he may be to actually "carry" a team into the playoffs. Name me one QB who carried the team on his own and Ill look at the roster.
  20. And also forgot to mention, with the exception of the Seahawks, you can't name a SB champ in recent memory to win a chip with LESS talent then we had on offense.
  21. Really now? That is an interesting statement, here are some facts. Our superbowl year the following players were pro-bowlers Yanda, Ray Rice, Ngata and Ed Reed. Our ranking for offense and defense was noted and nowhere NEAR the dominant defense. This we all know.. That's it...Joe went on a run and the rest is history. Here is a look at the recent SB winners. Broncos with by FAR the most dominating 1-2 combo on the defensive line I have ever seen and can remember (im 25) and they literally carried Manning into a SB chip. That defense was incredible and dismantled Cam and the Panthers need I remind you. not to mention all the weapons at WR he had which included Emmanuel Sander and D Thomas at the WR positions. The year before? the Pats, Bradys weapon of choice? Edleman and GRONK not to mention a defense that included Revis and Browner/ Mcourty and Chung Seahawks, the offense did not even need to show up...honestly...embarrassed Manning. So this whole he needs more than every other QB argument is ridiculous, he needs SOMETHING....that being said, he needs to play better but do not make him seem like he needs a golden path laid out for him.
  22. Really need to see these 2 guys playing together
  23. A good CB or a good DE/OLB fixes the same issue. One gives the D-line more time to work and the other gives the QB less time to throw. I wouldn't mind either as long as it's the best player available. Hey if its a S then grab him even if we don't need him.
  24. Dixon is a much more powerful runner.
  25. but if some how Fournette drops to us, youre not taking him?
