Flacco and the offense put us up by 14 twice that game. That was until the defense completely was massacred, Brady attacked one side of the field....they even threw in a WR throw for a TD.........

our offense also managed to move the chains in the second half. Remember all those big thows to Boldin? On top of that we get the luckiest halftime performance by having the lights shut off.

They gave it to their MVP to make a play, and look at the turn out

Flacco thows 4 TDS, everyone knows the reason we lost that game was bc of injuries to our secondary.....Ryan did nothing in the 2nd half....If the Flacons were going to win it was going to have to be through their high scoring offense.....2 TDs from Ryan was not going to cut it

Someone gets it finally...sheesh....Flacco does not have to be Drew Brees at all. They can blame him all they want for our failures but he is not the biggest issue nor is the amount we paid him either. Look at the market and tell me who we could have replaced him with? Look at what QB's that have accomplished less are getting paid. It's as if they do not see what is going on around the league and how teams are being constructed to win.

They are kids, it's time to act like adults and talk to them and straighten them out. I understand that this is something they as young men need to do for themselves however, this is a work environment that rewards it's employers with stellar play...not a model citizen. You know what is very odd about this (I agree with you that it seems like Flacco doesn't see what the defense is doing) is that come playoff time the play calling always changes, DRASTICLY. It seems to work entirely on Joe's strengths to which he then proceeds to be everything we could possibly want from a QB in the playoffs. Something is off about that, Caldwell unleashed Joe and we had success in the playoffs with Cam C as well. Kubiak was the only one to use Flacco DURING the regular season.....all of the concerns we had about Joe vanished that year...

Matt has been on some very good teams...he got the brakes beat off of him during big games in the playoffs.

I came back to this thread just to get sad again.....smh....this is about as sad as Willis having to retire early. It sucks because it shows how much guys like him love this game. He really had some much potential that he was just starting to scratch at.

all this crying about Flacco has forced to me to watch other Qb's who "hit their receivers" in stride and it's BS. Rogers threw a pass that was under thrown for a TD. His receiver adjusted his body accordingly and made the play. He then rolled into the end zone. I don't want to hear anymore how Flacco may over or under throw some targets, if you can make a play then make it. EVERY QB doesn't put it right in your hands, sometimes all they can do is give you a shot to make the play. Why is this thread still going? what else can we possibly stress about Flacco improving and the front office putting better pieces around him. We know what must be done. Every team left standing how a weapon with the exception of Rogers who's playing out of his mind.
