  1. Ravens fifth-round TE Nick Boyle has made "far more plays" at training camp than second-rounder Maxx Williams. Boyle also appeared to play ahead of Williams in Baltimore's preseason opener. The college-to-pro transition for tight ends is as difficult as any position, and all signs point to Williams coming along slowly. He remains a worthwhile Dynasty hold, but we can't expect a year-one impact from Williams at this stage. Related: Nick Boyle Source: Baltimore Sun Aug 21 - 2:31 PM
  2. The Baltimore Sun questions whether third-year WR Marlon Brown will make the 53-man roster. Brown missed a huge chunk of camp with back and hamstring injuries, and beat writer Jeff Zriebec says Brown "hasn't looked right" since returning, playing "extremely tentative" and getting very few reps. Zriebec suggests Brown could end up losing his roster spot to Michael Campanaro or rookie Darren Waller. Source: Baltimore Sun Aug 21 - 2:29 PM
  3. Apparently there was a scuffle between the Ravens and Eagles in the joint practice today. I don't know which players were involved.
  4. He was such a great guy. What an unfortunate situation, may he RIP.
  5. Ravens coach John Harbaugh confirms Breshad Perriman's (knee) MRI came back normal, but that the first-rounder is still dealing with swelling. Harbaugh called the rookie wideout's injury a sprain. It's unclear when Perriman might return to preseason action, but his Week 1 status doesn't yet appear to be in doubt. The Ravens would undoubtedly like Perriman to be ready for the team's regular season dress rehearsal on August 29. Source: Jeff Zrebiec on Twitter Aug 18 - 2:43 PM
  6. He hurt himself?! It's not like he purposely banged his knee on the ground. He dove to make a catch! At least he made an effort to make the catch, and I can't remember but I think he caught the ball too. Get well soon BP! We need you back out there. You were looking good in practice.
  7. Welcome back, welcome back, Welllcoommee backkkk!
  8. Arthur Jones?? You mean Arthur Brown, Lol.
  9. Come on Steve let's get your much deserved ring! I know he hasn't been a Raven long, but it feels like he's always been a Raven. He definitely plays like a Raven and has the heart like a Raven. He's a small guy but he plays/acts like he is one of the biggest guys around. Enjoy your last ride Steve!
  10. Not again! I was looking forward to finally seeing him in action. He has so much potential, but just needs to stay healthy. Good luck Urban!
  11. The Ravens are hosting CB Chris Cook for a free agent visit. Cook has long arms, great size, and ample straight-line long speed, but he's never been an effective cover corner. The Ravens may be updating their emergency list after dealing with seemingly countless cornerback injuries in 2014. Aug 6 - 11:49 AM Source: Matt Maiocco on Twitter
  12. The Browns have a better chance of making the playoffs than the Ravens!!??? The Browns haven't been in the playoffs since like 2002! The Redskins also have a better chance!!!?? HAAHAHAHAAAAA!! That's "Ludacrous" (in my Mike Tyson voice).
  13. If he can stay healthy, i think it Camp's job.
  14. Crockett Gilmore=Ravens sleeper of the season!
  15. Raven for life!
  16. Love it, but please stay away from the Michael Oher reference!
  17. Ngata is just doing the good old "political talk" for his new team. Ngata played with two GOATS at their position in Ray Lewis and Ed Reed. Who on the lions are near their level on defense??!! I am waiting...That's right no one. He also played with the likes of Suggs, who is no scrub himself, and etc. Players talk that talk always with their team(s). It is what it is.
  18. A man on a mission, with something to prove!
  19. Stay healthy my friend!
  20. I am pulling for you Elam. Here's hoping you are just a late bloomer like Jimmy Smith was.
  21. Brooks >> Elam
  22. I am glad he's focusing on communication, that seemed to be one of our issues in the secondary last season.
  23. Team Aiken!
  24. Apparently we had interest in Swearinger too...Hopefully we can nab Arrington. ESPN's Field Yates reports eight teams put in a claim for SS D.J. Swearinger before he was awarded to the Bucs. Including the Bucs, the Jaguars, Raiders, Jets, Falcons, Bills, Steelers, and Ravens all placed claims. This obviously means little now that Swearinger has landed in Tampa Bay, but it's noteworthy should Swearinger not stick with the Bucs. He doesn't really fit the scheme and could end up back on the streets if he doesn't up his play and learn to adhere to Lovie Smith's Cover-2 system. Source: Field Yates on Twitter May 13 - 1:01 PM
  25. Ravens rookie CB Julian Wilson suffered a broken leg during Friday's minicamp. Wilson will undergo surgery and is expected to miss the entire season. A priority UDFA signing, Wilson will likely be stashed on injured reserve. Source: Aaron Wilson on Twitter May 8 - 8:19 PM I hope this isn't a repeat to our corner situation as last year. Please stay healthy OUR RAVENS.
