  1. I think saying goodbye to veteran players to find cap space and having a less than stellar draft class has caught up with us this year. Everyone has injuries. I feel like this year there was too many holes to fill and we did not get enough putty. Suggs hurt for sure.
  2. I hope you are right.. I think both Arizona and St. Louis are going to be tough outs. Need the run game to get going.
  3. I have been saying all along prior to the draft that Tyler lockett was a perfect fit for the ravens having lost jacoby jones. This guy would of given us another game breaker and has seen time with the 1'S and may start in seattle. We screwed up not picking this guy up he was a no brainer. You are a little late Drinkmorebeer.... Lockett was the 69th pick overall..
  4. You are correct and I will hold judgement. I just know this kid wouldn't of took a knee in the end zone and we missed one there that much I know.
  5. If we are talking WR's we should of taken tyler lockett in the second round of this years draft. (seattle) The kid is awesome in the return game and will be solid receiver. He had 103 yard kickoff return for TD and another 46 yard return last night in first action. He is also a great punt returner. He was an easy choice. I see us lacking big time in the return game..
  6. There are players that can't change who and what they are.. Some fairy tale movie does not change that. When you say sub-division football what do you mean? You quoted a movie as a reference of how players can be coached. I am telling you that is a fairy tale. Like I said I would love the kid to make it but the proof will be on the field.
  7. I can watch Remember the Titans all day long it makes no difference... By the way that was high school football movie.. and if you believe hollywood can change a players DNA than good for you. I live in a different world no offense. I can name a bunch of RB's that went high in the draft that washed out because of fumbling problems. This years draft NU's Ameer Abdullah comes to mind of a player that has all the talent in the world but fumbles at the wrong times and is probably not curable. I never brought up Pitta or anybody else. I will be holding my breath with juice until he shows me otherwise. Juice also does not have the talent of the other players you mentioned..
  8. I am sure glad that you are both sure that ball security can be taught at this level. A lot RB's and FB's didn't make it this far because of it.. I hope for juice's sake you are right..
  9. I hope you are right about not fumbling. It is the manner in which he fumbles that bothers me. Meaning unrelated to contact. I don't see how anybody can predict that he is even close to pro-bowl material. His route tree is made up of short routes dictated by the defense scheme and are down and distance offensive calls. I don't see the nightmare matchup problems that other people are suggesting. I think the kid is talented enough but he needs to hold on to the ball which is instinct and part of a players DNA at this point. I just know that I will still be holding my breath when he gets the ball in his hands.
  10. It doesn't matter how many fumbles he had in college, high school, etc. He obviously has talent that got him here. My point is there is no room for mistakes at this level especially out of the FB position. I didn't say cut him tomorrow but I would say he skating on thin ICE. If you can't hold on to the ball falling to the ground at this level you are beyond coaching.. Just my opinion..
  11. I agree totally. You can't fumble the ball out of that position..
  12. I think juice plays a position where fumbling is not an option. Fumbling at this level is at best hard to correct and is in the DNA of players. The fumbles I saw on sunday's doesn't work at this level. and he is not the type of player that the juice is worth the squeeze.
