  2. Ok so, Thanks Br*dy, you did what we all wanted you to do. Beat the Steelers in week one. Now you can go serve your 4 game suspension.

  4. So is Perriman playing week 1 or not?

  5. Man i like this guy Charles James II

  6. Jeremy Ross was cut from Lions. Pretty good return specialist, I wouldn't mind having us add him seeing as we are missing a true guy to bring back kicks.

  8. I'm back from training camp and won the starting ILB job! All black & blue, might have a concussion, but I'm happy and proud.

Good on ya but that's why I watch instead of play. I value my life and health more.

(Contact) flag will have to do.

      Stay safe.

  9. Tim Jennings was cut. Worth a look?

He's small, kinda old, been in conflict with the law lately and had off season surgery. But our secondary could need an upgrade.

What do you think he would cost for 3 years or so?

I know the feeling man. I've moved 6 times in the last 5 years and I'm moving again late January, which is a bummer because that weekend the boys (Ravens) are playing SB50 - I'll make time to watch that game though.

NFL gamepass is your friend imo - internet connection is all that's required.

  11. SSS is a great WR and an even better guy. I hope he can retire winning a SB.

  12. If Russell Wilson genuinely wants to be the highest paid player in NFL history then he better prepare to be disappointed. No team will pay that much for a game manager. He isn't the kind of QB that can carry a team to a SB like Manning, his greatest asset is that he doesn't make too many mistakes but put him on a team without an elite defense and he'll crumble, he can't put a team on his back and make them winners, just not the player he is.

Agreed, concerning elite defense/run game. If you guys could forget your Baltimore bias for a second; where do you think Flacco realistically checks in (top 10/15?)

Our defense hasn't been elite with Joe, like it was in 2000. And we've never had offensive firepower like NO or ATL (well, hopefully that's changing).

  13. Thank goodness Reed (my favorite ever player) got a ring in his last significant year in the league. It would've torn me up if he ended up on one of those "greats who never won it all" lists like Marino and Tomlinson. The presser was great, I actually laughed out loud when he said he loved every Cleveland and Cincy QB, lol. Have fun in retirement Ed!

  14. Okay draft geeks, time for all of our discussions from the past 3 months to make themselves completely moot!

  15. the byron jones is seriously picking up steam, what exactly is he considered? a cb or a s? and ill admit i dont know much about the kid but is he a jack of all trades or is he really just good enough to play lights out at either position?

  16. Here I was at work excited that we extended Jimmy's contract, only to come on the boards to see ppl whining about the $$$. As if he was gonna get paid any less elsewhere.

Like many have said, if he can stay away from the accidental injuries he'll be one heck of a ball player for this organization! I love watching Jimmy play, let's go Ravens!

  17. who do you take if..Gordon, Strong, Perriman, Maxx Williams, Peters are available at 26?

What concerns me is his agility, he lacks burst out of breaks and route running savvy. I've also heard he isn't nearly as strong as Q (an asset you can use when you're lacking quickness).

He could develop these qualities over time (strength, route running) or not.

Do you think he'll be able to seriously develop route craftyness and unpredictabilty? (some do some don't - e.g. Torrey)

I'm not sure what you mean by "2-3 stolen" but the way I see it we still need a field stretcher - should be able to find a good option up until the 4th round.

It seems more and more people are realizing Strong isn't worth a first rounder. The fact that we likely won't have a shot at the top 3 wr's + Ozzie's reluctance towards going wr in the first, I think you're in for a dissapointing first day of the draft Pechillo.

      Not to worry though, Ozzie...

Peters mos def-initely. I know you love Strong, but I think he would be a reach in the first. We need quickness/burner at WR, we've got plenty of physical possesion talent (Aiken, Marlon) imo.

  20. ozzie will get it done, no worries here

  21. isn't it time to not be known for just defense? don't get me wrong Ravens defense is essentially the only old school and real football played anymore but I'm tired of Pats and Broncos etc. to be considered shoe-ins for the super bowl based off of QB and offense. Lets balance our defense with offense. aka Ozzie please draft a WR *not Devin Smith* and a TE

Like I said, I would very much welcome the addition of a WR on day one so long as he'll pan out a #1 (eventually). I guess we'll just have to wait and see what Ozzie does come April 30th boys.

He just compared Strong with slot guys - Colston and Jeffrey. Is Strong a Boldin - will we be able to rely upon him?

But do we want a slot guy in the first? I would assume a first round wr to be able to play all over the field. I also see better value on defense in the first round.

Could you pitch/sell Strong to those of us who are under the understanding that he never got any separation in college. Doesn't that scream separation issues in the NFL along with limited routes and slow burst out his breaks.

Might be a woeful first rounder?

I like the idea of going big WR in the first, but not if it's not relatively safe. In that case I'd prefer BPA (CB, OLB etc.)
