  1. Maybe I just haven't been paying attention close enough, but I feel like Timmy was very quiet this past season. Or did he just do a lot of 'bread and butter stuff' (hmm) that didn't show up in the stat sheet? Like others have said I also feel like we should address defense in the first round. Depending on how the chips fall we should be able to pick one of Buckner, Bosa, Jack, Ramsey, Spence or Jaylon. All great talents I would welcome with open arms. I think I might even stay up late here in Europe and watch our pick live, since we're on the clock so early this year. Can't wait, go Ravens!
  2. I wasn't aware offensive coordinaters declared for the draft nowadays That being said, I think I would prefer the first one - but maybe taking Sterling Shepard instead of Miller. Do you think Braxton will pan out as a legitimate threat at WR?
  3. Good point, athleticism especially will help in adating to different positional placements on the field. Bosa or Ramsey at #6 imo, otherwise trade back a handful of spots and and draft Alexander or Spence... something like that.
  4. You're right. After I did my two "preffered" scenarios I realized that I really wouldn't mind ANY combination of those players (one at each position). If Ozzie addresses those position groups in the first three rounds I'm good - the draft is too far away.
  5. Rush, secondary and receiver arguably are the biggest needs (fingers crossed KO stays), and should be adressed during the first three rounds. 1st round: Joey Bosa/Jalen Ramsey/Laquon Treadwell 2nd round: Noah Spence/Kendall Fuller/Tyler Boyd 3rd round: Yannick Ngakoue/Will Redmond/Sterling Shepard I think I would prefer either Bosa/Fuller/Shepard or Ramsey/Boyd/Ngakoue.
  6. I used fanspeak's board and Tunsil fell in my lap. Get some CB help in FA including Shareece Wright and we should be good, barring injury of course. 6: R1P6 OT LAREMY TUNSIL OLE MISS 36: R2P5 WR TYLER BOYD PITTSBURGH 71: R3P8 OLB NOAH SPENCE EASTERN KENTUCKY
  7. Totally agree. I remember being excited/optimistic about Kendrick and Kyle last offseason ---> ---> , moving on!
  8. My thoughts exactly, the vibe was very weird. The bad season could also have been on his mind a bit... who knows, I hope he starts picking people off left and right and by doing so gets stoked about his position switch.
  9. You're right, I think I'm just craving a sexy INT-making machine - but with Webb changing and Lewis out (hopefully) I feel a little better. Let's see how Z. Smith and Guy get freed up when/if Suggs returns. But like you said, we definitely need some new rushing forces - I was just thinking about taking care of that in the second (Ngakoue perhaps). So, if Oz passes on Bosa/VH3/Ramsey then they trade back to the middle of the round and get Buckner, Ogbah, Nkemdiche or perhaps Mackensie Alexander? That's true and now it seems official that Webb will be switching to FS. That will hopefully sideline Lewis and Elam, if they're even here next season.
  10. We just finished a bad 5-11 season guys, it doesn't seem like a safe pick will do the trick at turning the ship around. Much less at the d-line where we're crowded as it is. In order to become relevant again (besides avoiding injuries) we clearly need a playmaker in the secondary. I think DB should be first priority in the first round, especially if the secondary is not adressed through FA.
  11. Wow, really... that's pretty cray? It just hasn't generally looked that way to me. Webb is slow to the ball, Jimmy gets burned (too much for his new contract) and K. Lewis aka. Magnum P.I. never turns around to locate the ball. Oh, and Kyle... Arrington is it? Wright has acclimated quite well lately though imo. I can't wait for offseason re-tooling, it's always an exciting time of the year.
  12. So what is our best bet for a ballhawking centerfielder? Ignorant as I am I was of the impression that Ramsey was a FS. Elam, Hill and Lewis are not suited back there, maybe Brooks or Webb? What are the chances of Webb Making that shift?
  13. Sure, that's all Joe. No one else contributed to those playoff berths. Besides the epic SB run and phenomenal games here and there - Joe arguably is a high priced game manager. Let's see what happens during training camp with Joe coming off surgery and all. Mallett is a much cheaper game manager - that's all I'm saying.
  14. But regular season Flacco doesn't automatically guarantee a playoff berth... Hopefully Ryan will provide Joe with some much needed competition at the position.
  15. With Camp it's all about health - we'll see if he can escape his fragile past, otherwise I think he gets cut after next year's training camp.
  16. To quote the great Ron Burgundy: "Well, agree to disagree". I know Jimmy Clausen isn't better than Joe (... at this point), and I don't believe I wrote that in any way, shape or form. However, I am getting tired of Joe's knack for throwing picks. He's 8-9 seasons in, gets paid a gazellion dollars yet he regularly finds opposing team's DB's. Joe threw picks in 9 out of 11 games this season - including 4 multiple-pick contests. He has been an iron man so far, but will that be different after his first major injury now? Also, there's no denying he turns it up in January (but the thing is you need to qualify via the regular season). Jimmy has played but 3 games here so far, shows good mobility and is able to put some zip on it - I'm looking forward to see how he develops.
  17. Jimmy might push Joe in next year's camp, coming off injury and all. This is the first time I'm seeing our backup QB having a clue + physical tools. Hopefully Joe comes back hungry and decides to finally take his (regular season) game to the next level.
  18. It just seems SO basic for a FS not to let a guy go past him, what in the world are these PROFESSIONAL FOOTBALL PLAYERS thinking about when they're out there on the field? smh We saw the same stuff from Elam when he was the center fielder. Really need a change of scenery on the defensive coaching front and the best FS in the draft!
  19. It's really sad with Jimmy, he looked so good last year before the injury. Hopefully he can bounce back, otherwise the FO has paid yet another (misguided) huge deal to a CB coming off injury.
  20. Except Morgan Cox, what a specimen (in every aspect possible)!
  21. Roger, sorry 'bout that.
  22. We get it already. The fact of the matter is you cannot compare injuries like that. If Perriman was ready to go he would be out there, he's not out there - ergo, concordantly, vis à vis... he's not ready. Let's see if we can move on. Maybe switch Marlon for Daniel, one Brown for another.
  23. Not sure if it's been mentioned earlier in the thread, but Joe seemed to put more zip on the balls than he usually does imo. More low-arching laser shots and less balloon floaters that are 'easily' intercepted. Nice to see Joe play an INT-free game for a change.
  24. I have heard him being mentioned a tad overrated, either way he might still be available top 3-5. So true, Joe needs to go through his progessions and spread it around. I'm sad for Smitty, I thought "achilles" to myself as soon as he pulled up. Looked like he hyperextended his foot into dorsi flexion a couple steps before the tackle. Too bad we couldn't give him that ring last season.
  25. Aiken has been playing under the radar all season imo, he deserves a bigger role. Marlon and Waller have been underwhelming, Camp was flashy and brittle as always, need to see more from Givens and Ross. Next years WR corps (imo): Vet FA (Garcon, VJAX...) High'ish draft pick (first three rounds or so) Perriman Aiken 2 of Givens, Ross, Camp and Waller
