  1. I agree 100%. The season is not how we envisioned but so called "fans" want Harbaugh or Ozzie to get fired or question what they have done for this organization is just plain ridiculous. Harbaugh is a top 5 coach in the country, let alone the NFL. We are decimated by injuries and have had to shuffle a lot of new guys into the lineup this year. We will not be down for long though because Harbaugh and Ozzie have proven that they know how to put a good team together and coach that team to success
  2. He gave up both touchdowns they scored. The first one Torrey torched him on a go route. The second one Patton turned him around on Kap's scramble. He was put in a tough spot, but if Webb and Brooks are healthy for next week then Wright should be sent packing
  3. Losing Suggs really sent our season into a tailspin. Losing 1 player should never ruin your season but I honestly believe if he stayed healthy some of these blown leads and bad lapses would not have happened. Its a what-if scenario though. Harbaugh really needs to consider making a change with Pees and give Martinadale or Monachino a chance to see if they can get better play out of some guys. Ozzie should start thinking about what players he is going to go after in F/A and the who he is going to draft in the top 5. Hargreaves, Ramsey, Treadwell or Bosa would be excellent.
  4. Absolutely disgusting. There are only a handful of guys on this team that deserve to even collect their pay check. Dean Pees still has to go and there are no more excuses. Shareece Wright should not even be allowed to get on the plane home. This defensive line played great today and made our defense look half respectable until Pees left Wright alone to cover Torrey. Jimmy Smith's penalty on 3rd down with a few minutes left killed any chance we had. This team needs an overhaul this offseason and a top draft pick is going to look real nice. If Harbaugh does not make some changes then i dont know what to think of this team. The injuries have decimated this team but that is no excuse, I love the Ravens and I will continue to watch each game eventhough they very well may go 3-13 or so. Flacco, Forsett, Yanda, SSS and Brandon Williams are the only guys keeping us afloat and its just not enough. On top of it Kendrick Lewis looks like he suffered a serious injury. Sorry for the long rant but I cannot stand how bad this team is playing and the lack of effort some guys are giving. 30 seconds left and our lineman are JOGGING to the line for Flacco to spike it.
  5. We would still have Suggs and Dumervil (assuming they are both back). Smith is good and I love what he has done here, but we should make speed a high priority moving forward. We may have the slowest roster in the NFL and it has shown at times this year. Spence has been starting for the Steelers the last few games and has looked pretty good. Nonetheless I wouldn't be surprised if we brought in some competition at linebacker through F/A and the draft. We need to shake things up
  6. I don't think he is bad, but I think the FO will put a bigger emphasis on getting younger moving forward. In an earlier post I mentioned how I would like to see us replace Smith with someone like Sean Spence in free agency. We need to get faster on defense, but I would like if Smith stayed but split snaps with someone else
  7. Elam surely has, but his cap hit is not that big next year and he is still young. I think we keep him and Arthur Brown around one more season. Zuttah is playing well, but if we cut him, Canty and possibly Webb, then I think we could look into resigning KO and moving Urschel to C. Tucker will be in Baltimore next year whether a new contract or the tag, I am willing to bet big on that one. I could see a team next year without most of our older players on it: Zuttah, Pitta, SSS, Canty, Smith, Webb and Lewis all could be gone
  8. Daryl Smith looks like he has lost a little bit this season, maybe its just me. Id love if he took a paycut and stayed. Zuttah is interesting because we restructured his deal, he might stay now. If we cannot trade Elam then I think we should keep him as depth. Tucker should be resigned but I wouldn't be shocked if we hit him with the franchise tag
  9. We rarely ever spend big on free agents so I will be cautiously optimistic that we could land Weddle or Gipson. Of the two of them I would prefer Gipson because he is more rangy and will only be 26 at the start of next year. Both of those guys will probably get 8-10 million annually on their next deals with the cap rising and teams like Oakland, Jacksonville and Chicago who have a ton of space and need safety help. I will be ecstatic if we land one of them, but I wouldn't be surprised if we address it in the draft or roll with Terrence Brooks as our starting FS. Cornerback is where I think we will make a free agent splash more so then safety. A guy like Keenan Lewis could be cut or we could go after someone like Jenkins, Hayward or Smith. I agree that Webb has a chance to stay, but I also wouldn't be surprised to see us go hard in the draft, sign a F/A and rely on Arrington and Davis for depth as well.
  10. I don't want to see him cut either, but he is not consistently healthy. We need to have guys that can be counted on to be there every week. I agree he has looked good recently and he seems to thrive playing in the slot, but I think his chances of staying are right around 50%. There are only 3 safeties worth our time in FA and they are Weddle, Gipson and Berry. I do not think we have a realistic chance of either of those 3 guys
  11. Which is good because that means it will probably give us cap room right away Wouldn't be surprised if Tucker was not to far behind
  12. Although it will be disappointing not having him out there, the return of Gilmore will help offset SSS. I would like to see Givens and Ross get more involved in the offense this week if SSS and Waller both sit
  13. Saw Jeff Zrebiec reported that the Ravens are close to an extension with Yanda, should get done very soon. This deal has been a long time coming, or maybe they are creating cap space to make a trade?
  14. Thankfully it looks like Forsett, Yanda and Dumervil will play this weekend. Webb, Brooks, Waller, Perriman and Canty all did not practice. Not having Brooks or Webb will definitely hurt
  15. Sometimes teams take fliers on guys like them because they are young and cheap. I cannot see a scenario where Marlon Brown is part of this team next year, unless he has practice squad eligibility. I hope we hang onto Arthur Brown through the offseason atleast, I think we move on from Smith and he could be a potential replacement.
  16. I know this is early to think about it, especially since we have not made a move yet, but if Pees is fired this offseason what about Gus Bradley as our D-coordinator? There has to be atleast a 50/50 chance he gets fired this offseason if the Jags continue to show no improvement in the win column. Just a thought I had last night, Pess definitely has lost the fan base if not his players so I think it is something worth thinking about.
  17. No way we trade a TE, they are a strength of ours moving forward. I think we would try and trade Arthur Brown or Marlon Brown before cutting them. Arthur is more likely to stay I believe. Juice does not need to be resigned yet, he has another year left on his deal after this one. I think we cut Daryl Smith unless he takes a paycut. A surprise trade could be Monroe, if we are able to get Stanley or Tunsil in the draft. I admit though that is very unlikely
  18. Resigned: Yanda, Tucker, Aiken, Ross, Orr and Jensen Traded: Maybe Elam Cut: Canty, Webb, and Daryl Smith (Maybe Zuttah) Hopefully Pitta retires and I think we give Taliaferro and Campanaro a chance in camp and preseason to see if they can stay healthy
  19. Maybe its coaching but they hit homeruns outside of the first round recently with Gronk, Edleman and Collins. The Hawks and Bengals may have had higher picks at one point, but both have been in the playoffs the last few years. Sherman, Chancellor, Wright and Maxwell were all good picks. Nonetheless all of these teams seem to draft well, but also of finding those free agents at the right price that fit well. With a potentially high pick coming and some cap room, I expect us to have one of the more talented rosters in 2016
  20. No particular order: Ozzie, Schneider(Seahawks), Thompson (Packers), Belichick (Patriots) and Lewis/Brown (Bengals) Ozzie is definitely in the top 5 if not the top 3 for how long he has been successful
  21. I wouldn't go out and say Perriman and Williams will be mediocre or busts when Williams is 21 years old with 5 games under his belt and Perriman is 22 with no games played yet. Ozzie has not had the strongest drafts recently, but what do you expect when we go on a 7 year stretch of being one of the better teams in the league. We cannot have it both ways where we are successful and land a top 5 player. Ted Thompson and John Schneider are the only 2 gm's right now who could be considered "better" then Ozzie
  22. Late 2nd round would be my guess. He has played pretty well this year so far and is a very willing tackler for a smaller cornerback. There are quite a bit of corners I would rather have them him though
  23. That's true, it will be sad for me to see Webb go. He has really performed well when given the opportunity to play in the slot recently, but just cannot shake the injury bug. If we cut him I would like us to go after someone like Janoris Jenkins and then draft someone like Hargreaves in the first round on top of that
  24. You are probably right, unless he agrees to take another pay cut. We will probably keep Arrington then if we do cut Webb
  25. Good catch I was not aware there was that much cap savings to be had if we cut Webb. I may be in the minority but I thought he was playing pretty well this year, but finding a replacement will be tough. If we made other moves to free up cap space then I wouldn't mind keeping Webb, signing a decent free agent and addressing it high in the draft. Webb is a pretty good slot corner when healthy, that's the problem though. Speaking of Daryl Smith, I think a good replacement for him would be for us to try and lure Sean Spence here to replace him. The Steelers cap situation will be horrendous and he has a lot of speed, something we desperately need on our defense
