  1. Eric's response is perfect - shows what kind of player he truly is. Focus on the next game and onto the championship !!
  2. Hopefully it wouldn't matter if he was picked or not as isn't our long-term goal to get to the Super Bowl?
  3. Remember success does not happen overnight. Keep pushing forward and the Ravens will prevail. Dixon / West keep up the hard work - you are making progress!!
  4. Sorry to see Daniel Brown go to another team - he was making strides and was a nice pick-up for Baltimore when players were injured - good luck w/ the Bears
  5. I find it very interesting that when we are losing - we blame anyone we can, but when we are winning we still find things to complain about. Harbs has done a fantastic job during his tenure and yes we have had a couple of rough years - but that said the blame is not Harbs (although he will tell you - my fault). The blame starts with each individual who plays the game. That person has to get better and work to help their teammates. Mental toughness, continue to makes strides and this to shall pass. Go RAVENS!!
  6. Maybe we need another shake up and let Ryan play a few games. I am a fan of Flacco but he is not himself this year. We have to stop the penalties.
  7. Let's put this one down as "W' for "CB" and make him proud. You will be missed Clarence!!
  8. Such a loss to lose someone so young with his whole life ahead of him. Thoughts and prayers for his family during this tragic time.
  9. So why when a player makes a play that is unacceptable, he's flagged, fined, and in some cases suspended; however when the referee's make the calls, all they have to do is apologize and say "oops - sorry you should have won". I realize the goal is to make the game safer but I have to say the number of flags thrown this year is crazy. Can we just play football? In regards to the bad calls, how about some repercussions especially when it determines the outcome of the game. In addition, while I'm on the soap box - if a ref is going to make a call for pass interference, or any other type of call - it needs to be consistent. In watching the games this year, it's clear in some games the refs are showing partiality and not being consistent.
  10. Our loss is not solely because of a penalty on the last call by Dumervil. What about the the two inceptions and fumble by Flacco or the multitude of penalties by the referees - some valid, some not. Today was just a bad football day all the way around and we have to get better at the basics!!
  11. Everyone has a down day, it is called being human. True fans are the ones who continue to be so even when the chips are down.
  12. Let's get Babin activated - he may not be the answer, but he sure can't hurt. We need all the help we can get right now and some outside energy might do the trick to help others. The team needs a boost in that internal driving enthusiasm - like the year we won the super bowl - GO RAVENS.
  13. Those with class do not advertise their happiness when others are struggling. We should be focusing more on the steps we need to take to resolve the issue versus articles on who is happy that we are down in the dreggs.
  14. Unfortunately what we miss is the enthusiasm that Suggs provides the team every game, it's the continual fire and emotion. Someone else is going to have to fill this role. Steve Smith tried, but more players have to get onboard!! The drive was definitely missing from the defense, but they are going to have to find a way to get it back or it will be a very long but short season.
