  1. Well first off Jesen steps into LG before Urschel, as Urschel is the backup C at this point. No need to risk injuring your backup center, a key position by playing elsewhere, except maybe in a pinch. The starting offensive line will be Stanley, Jensen, Urschel, Yanda, Wagner (l to r) within a year or so IMHO. Pretty solid group. Monroe I see being released once Stanley steps onto the scene and Zuttah I see them parting ways with at some point as he's getting up there in age. If Urschel plays better at LG, he gets the job. You never sit a superior player on the bench just because your afraid of injuries, and want him as a back-up. Makes no sense. If Monroe comes in and has a good camp, would you just get rid of him because you drafted a new guy? I don't think so. If the team decides that it would be prudent to release him for cap reasons, that's a different story. But if he stays healthy and can contribute, I think they'd keep him around. It also depends on how Stanley looks during camp and pre-season. If he seems overwhelmed, the Raven's are not going to throw him in at LT protecting Flacco's blind side. jensen outplayed urschel last year He definitely did
  2. The most intriguing prospect for me is Kamalei Correa, seeing as though we chose him over Myles Jack and Noah Spence. I think if he bulks up and develops more technique with hands and pass rushing moves, he could quickly become a impact player on this team. Can't wait for mini and training camp to start but i'll specifically be paying attention to him.
  3. I'm a little mixed on this draft, I think overall we got a lot of good value and I think we got younger and more athletic guys with some being able to be solid guys day 1, but I'm really disappointed they passed on Spence and Jack. Jack I understand but Noah Spence is a beast, all he does is hunt QB's. Spence I was chanting Spence Friday and when we passed on him I was sick. Other than that it was a solid draft. B+
  4. So let me get this right, you love the draft and the guys we got, but as soon as you see false hope in our picks your ready to jump on the bandwagon with all naysayers about who we drafted and blame it on Harbaugh as if, at no point you didn't say you "loved the draft"... You sound like the fakest fan I've ever heard.
  5. News coming out that Myles Jack won't need surgery on his knee. I really hope this doesn't come back to bite us. Good news is that the Ravens received really good draft drades ESPN (Insider): A Rotoworld: A Sporting News: A Bleacher Report: A Sports Illustrated: B+ USA Today: B+ Pro Football Focus: B+ SBNation: B+ CBS Sports: B+ New York Daily News: B+ Washington Post: B
  6. I think the only player they may regret passing on is Myles Jack but like it said in the article I could see why they passed on him, his knee seems very unpredictable and may affect him down the road. I give them an A-
  7. Pros: Highly productive(13 sacks, 16.5 TFL) Explosive first step Good hand usage High motor, relentless rusher Has knack for getting after the QB/ QB hunter A sure tackler and always finds the ball Cons: A little stiff bending the curve Needs to develop more pass rushing moves/ counter moves A bit Undersized Level of competition * He's a Raven and can see him making a big impact on the team with a tittle coaching in the near future.
  8. yeah Asa Jackson was probably the best we've seen on the team as a kr but he had ball security issues
  9. I would have loved to get Buckner in the first round. I would to but Eugene Monroe is so unreliable and his back up is awful. Plus we are quit deep on the d line, we've got Kaproon-Lewis Moore, Timmy Jernigan, Brent Urban, Brandon Williams, Lawrence Guy, and Carl Davis. So it wasn't an immediate need, we could've waited to address that position and we did.
  10. I'm still disappointed they didn't get Noah Spence. Not to say Correa won't be a great pick, he could be a beast, but Spence was literally not only the best edge rusher available, but the best in the draft. The only reason Joey Bosa was more coveted was because he's longer and better in the run game.
  11. I like this pick. I wonder why they didn't get Scooby, he's a good player and a need? I wonder why he's falling so far I thought he would go somewhere in the 4th round, but it looks like he will go undrafted
  12. Actually, according to this morning's Sun paper, the Ravens tried to trade up with Dallas to get J. Ramsey but were rejected because J. Jones thought that the R's were going to take Elliott --confirmed by Ravens and Cowboys. It takes two to tango. Damn Cowboys
  13. We tried to move back into the 2nd round it was in the article
  14. I really hope we get Scooby Wright. "His 2014 season, which included 163 tackles, 29 tackles for losses, 14 sacks and six forced fumbles, is widely considered the most productive for a linebacker in college football history"( NFL.com). He only played in 3 games his junior season b/c of a torn meniscus and sprained foot but he's a beast.
  15. wow we tried to move back into the first round and move back into the second round. I was thinking that they just weren't being aggressive and letting players they had high on their draft boards be taken by other teams, but now that I read this the more I feel like the teams we tried to make deals with really screwed us over. Im really hurt at the fact they didn't accept these offers, otherwise this could've been a way different draft.
  16. should've been more aggressive and got the guys they WANTED, not the guys that FELL TO THEM. That has been the main difference between how we've been drafting so far and how the other teams near the top of every round has drafted.
  17. That's irrelevant who the hell knew he would turn out the way he did
  18. Should have just stayed put and selected either Myles Jack or Noah Spence... Literally no one we've drafted so far has excited me.
  19. I can't wait to see the draft grade we get
  20. I'm still mad about not getting Spence.
  21. you are being overly optimistic. he will play but he will struggle. Why do you say that? Athletically he and Tunsil are the same, he has great feet and Stanley's a better run blocker
  22. The Ravens are getting soft, they're letting teams take great, elite, impact players, while we get 'solid' and project players while hoping to magically find a diamond in the ruff in the back end of the draft. I give this draft a c- so far. I could punch the whole FO right in their throats right now
  23. I was thinking the same thing, we didn't get good value in return.
  24. So they move back and miss Myles Jack and Noah Spence who is a top 15 pick without the character concerns and who may be the best pure pass rusher...SMDH. We needed to do really good in the draft this year, I was kinda bummed about the Stanley pick then slept on it and realized that it was actually a really good pick, then when I think things get more exciting day 2, we let the Jags take Jack and miss on the best available pass rusher. I'm done with this draft.
