  1. Webb can go. He's done some good things, but too many time he has been a liability in coverage, whether he's covering somebody or offering help for the CB. With Webb's inconsistent play and age, Weddle's age, Elam not turning out how we thought, and Terrence Brooks not on the team anymore, we are thin and vulnerable at the safety position. Safety should be one of our biggest need this offseason.
  2. Elliot has been good all season, which means Dak has never experienced a game where he had to carry the team to a victory by himself. If we take Elliott out of the equation, Dak is going to feel pressure he's never felt before. It doesn't matter how good he is, rookie qb + pressure = mistakes.
  3. I think this game was a big confidence booster for our offense. It may have only been the Browns, but to finally win by double digits was huge. We learned that we don't have to struggle for every win, and we seen the effects of an effective run game. Now over the 10 day break, hopefully we can build on this and learn to be more precise in the redzone which allows for more TD's, and take better advantage of opportunities off turnovers, field position, etc. Including the little things like penalties and stuff. Go Ravens
  4. The only problems I see with this team is a poor offensive line and red zone offense. Before it was poor run and pass blocking, then one week it was poor run block, then the other week pass blocking. Not once have we ever experienced a game where the O line played solid on both aspects. Secondly our Offense just doesn't score enough points. They'll make a big play and move the ball, then stall and either settle for a field goal, or the offensive flow will come to a complete stop and we have to punt. I think people are overreacting, saying stupid s*** that makes no since that would turn this organization into the Browns. Thank god we have a bye week, I swear if we could just get healthy, Get Stanley and Yanda back, and work on capitalizing off good field position/turnovers, and punch the ball in the endzone more, we can quickly turn things around.
  5. Its 4th and goal, we go for it and don't convert. if your a good team you go for it no question and make it. How can you blame Harbs for that decision, there's no reason why they shouldn't have been able to punch the ball in with that many chances, at hat close of a range. If Terrance West cuts in following the first block instead of waiting and taking it out all the way outside, it's a different conversation. I honestly only see 3 things wrong with this team. 1- We still have no consistency. Trestman is awful, then we fire him and promote the qb coach, then our o-line is decimated by injuries, and none of the are gelling together, even though they didn't perform well before, 5 pro bowl players inactive today, then our best corner and pass rusher go down. If we can finally get use to something effective, we are effective. 2- the o-line, not much needed to be said, they aren't doing good and it's affecting everything. 3- Dean Pees cant gameplan against no.1 WR's, he just can't.
  6. Not one fan ever complained about wanting to see all these damn changes made in the organization until this season. We loose 3 games in a row and all of a sudden we can't draft, Joe is a one hit wonder, There needs to be a HC change, there needs to be a GM change, we don't know what we're doing, this guy needs to get promoted, that guy needs to be fired, Perriman, we have no playmakers, We make stupid decisions.... SHUT THE HELL UP! Grow some balls and stop being so upset all your life bc your points and complaining are all dumb and ignorant.
  7. Joe Flacco is not our damn problem people!!! Name one competitive game we have been in, in which Joe was playing that he did not ALWAYS give us a chance to win. Just like in our last 2 losses, today he put us in a position to win, but on a 4th down play, in which all the defense needed was to make one more stop to win the game, they give up the game winning TD, right after Joe led the ravens to a TD. The o-line was horrible, they constantly put us in bad situations. and I heard there were drops.
  8. It is NOT Harbaugh's job to give us insight into every little part of his plan. That's all I ever here on this site is sarcastic people saying how the coach keeps repeating the same thing, or he he's generic, or too broad, but name one coach who says more than the general concept they're trying to establish or want he team to accomplish. He's not supposed to run his moth and talk about specific details. Yea he says we have to get better, and he says it a lot, yea...he has an idea of how we are going to get better, and that will be shared with players and coaches, it's not supposed to be shared with us. What successful coaches explain or tell more than they have to or don't repeat general statements.
  9. I want to believe that next week will be better, but I would just be lying, I have lost all faith. Just please prove me wrong Ravens.
  10. At least we're still 2nd place in the division.
  11. Our offense has never been this this bad before, 2 terrible offenses 2 years in a row with the same OC who's been here for 2 yrs.... He's gotta go
  12. Perriman is basically a rookie, Benjamin and Wallace and that whole wr class is special and what they did and do is rare, Wr's just don't come out flaming like that.
  13. Yea, fire the head coach of a 3-2 team currently second in the division, Who's only had one losing season, mainly because of injuries. Fire the head coach who 6 of 8 yrs has had us in the playoffs and never eliminated in the first round. Fire Harbaugh on top of a new OC so we have no consistency, and we all start over and be run completely differently. Good head coaches are hard to come by, just ask the Browns. We fire Harbs and what does that solve.....? Fire Trestman and upgrade the O-line is all we have to do. We are severely overreacting, and taken things too far. The simple choice is the best, and firing Harbs and Oz, and benching Flacco is not simple or logical
  14. 1) We have to get rid of Trestman ASAP 2) "Cleaning house" is stupid, nothing wrong with Oz and Harbaugh or else we would've never been successful in the past. 3) I love our defense, and they deserve to be ranked as high as they are. 4) Our offense just isn't what it needs to be. WR's didn't get open, they dropped passes, O-line blocks inconsistently, We abandon(ed) the run game, Dumb penalties, don't capitalize off prime opportunities. 5) Talk about Flacco all you want, but he ALWAYS gives us an opportunity to win any game, and it was no different today. Last drive, he converts a 4th&2 with his legs to stay alive, hits Perriman but doesn't get both feet in, Can't blame Wallace for not catching pass, try getting hit that hard and holding on to a hard thrown ball, but receivers in general HAVE to get more open than that, How doe every time Joe passes the ball to someone, they are immediately taken down or hit. on that last play, someone should've been able to make a clean catch without getting they're clocked clean or ribs broken. TRESTMAN HAS TO GO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  15. Its simple * Protect Joe * Run the ball * Get into rhythm starting with the first drive * Get pressure on Cousins * Take shots down field
  16. It looks like we'll be taking either a safety or OG in next years draft, because Lewis is horrible, and Weddle is getting older, and we did not replace Osemele.
  17. It was made crystal clear sunday that this offense cannot thrive without a run game, and we play the best when we have a more balanced attack. 1st half- nothing, 2nd half- dangerous offense in rhythm. All bc we ran the ball. I think we take this and run with it. Teams still can't figure us out, they don't know our strengths and weaknesses, they don't know if we can run the ball, pass protect, go deep or not. I have full confidence we take what we learned sunday, we run the ball to establish a rhythm, O-line keeps Joe clean, and we take the occasional deep shot. Raiders game proved we ARE capable of blocking well and running the ball. Can't wait for Redskins game.
  18. It was a mutual agreement, not like they cut him out the blue with him unaware. Just look at how long they held onto Campanaro, trust me, we're are still a family team. Any other roster and he would've been gone year 2
  19. Class act, but only had one good year here. Didn't do good last year and regressed and didn't impress this year in a talented, young back field.
  20. We have went to the playoffs 6/8 years with this year yet to be determined under him. He's a special teams coach, not a DC or OC, and we have the best special teams unit in the nfl. We've won a SB, and may have won one 2 years ago, had it not been for our awful 2ndary surrendering two 14 point leads to the Pats. We have always been known for our defensive, we've never not been a defensive team. The offense is just like a role player who does their part to keep the team going. So those stupid offensive rankings you just pulled up are irrelevant. Kubiak's offense ws not perfect while he was here anyway. We were a dink and dunk team even with a good o-line and legit deep threat (torrey smith). He's was a OC and their defense is the only reason they've been winning since he's been there, which was similar when he was in Houston, so I don't care to have him as our OC or HC, Harbaugh is just fine with me.
  21. The o-line is pretty much the source of all our problems. It's the reason we couldn't run the ball till the 2nd half of our 4th game, why we keep asking Joe how he felt after the game bc the shots he keeps taking, why we don't go deep as often, and why we keep getting off to slow starts. Prime example, our first 2 drives of the game started well, then the o-line negated our big gains with penalties. Probably would've scored at lest a field goal on one of our first 2 drives had it not been for the o-line.
  22. EXCUSE ME, but all of you complaining right now, which is like 95% of everyone on the site, sound like a bunch of whiney kids who just got their feeling hurt and are venting about it. I didn't hear any of this the last 3 weeks when we won, lose a game for the first time and the organization and entire coaching staff is a "bonehead moron." SHUT UP!!!!! Yes we have problems, but are yall seriously questioning our QB who's been with us for 8 years and the 2nd most wins in the league in that span? There's only 1 true thing wrong with this team, and it's the O- line. They allowed pressure on Joe every snap, they committed a bunch of penalties, and they didn't create running lanes until the 2nd half. Yes we throw too much, but wk 1, was a defensive grudge match, wk2, we had to play catch up down by 20 points, wk 3, the O-line run blocking sucked and Forsett underperformed. So what was Trestman to do? However I think we will have a much more balanced attack now that we have clarity at rb, and we seen for the first time, that the run game exist and it can be pretty effective. Yes Joe seems off at times, but what is he to do, when every time he gets the ball in his hands he's getting pressured, can't step into his throw, has to throw the ball away, can't establish a groove, can't get comfortable, or can't adjust or make the throw he wants bc someone's about to hit him. Don't forget he's just 9 months outta knee surgery, physically he may be alright, but mentally not 100%. Stop blaming him all the time. Plus he can throw but he can't catch, Moore needs to take a seat, and though hit, Aiken dropped the ball. Juszczyk doesn't take the best angles to catch the ball either. Yes we keep getting off to a slow start, but in order to start fast we need the O-line to protect, keep pressure to a minimum, and open run lanes, which hasn't been happening. On defense the only weaknesses are Wright an Lewis, but I see Wright getting benched soon, and Lewis is a backup who only seen the field bc Webb left. The only other issue is we stay in shotgun too much, I think we need to mix up the formations. But besides that, it's that O-line. So stop crying, stop calling ppl out, calling for ppl to get fired, blaming our qb who I think is great, clutch, reliable, and does the best he can do. We need to be positive and support our team. O-line needs to be fixed, that's it. R-E-L-A-X.
  23. We use Shotgun formation way too much
  24. 1 Good: We discovered our run game, and our workhorse starting rb. RB by committee doesn't work, not only for us, but in the NFL, or football period. A team needs a consistent starting rb, and West is that guy for us. 2 Bad: We lost.... and we shouldn't have. It's the obvious, we lost our first game, at home, and all we needed was 10 yards to win. I think the thing that hurts the most is that the ending almost seemed automatic, or set in stone like it was scripted. We've experienced it over and over. Not much time, we march down the field far enough to just meet Tucker's range, he kicks it and we win. Every one of us ravens fans including myself was just so confident bc we couldn't imagine it happening any other, it's what we knew was going to happen. Except this time it didn't go down that way even though we were 10 yards away from it going just how we though it would. 3 The lesson: I think the team finally learned that they can't expect to play like they have week In and week out and keep winning these too close for comfort games. I think they finally got it, like you cant keep winning by 1-5 points every week, that success only last for so long. Eventually your gonna have to play a solid/good overall game with consistent play and win, and if not, then lose. Heartbreaking - yes, but we all know how resilient this organization is, and like true ravens fashion, they will adjust and look forward to playing the 'Skins and hopefully win.
  25. People say we got away rom the run game, but our use of it in the 2nd half is what allowed us to come back. After we found out that it was even possible to run the ball, we ran it a lot and I loved it. However I do believe that we should've ran the ball at the end to pick up the first down and field goal range we needed. They weren't stopping it so we should've continued to do it. I think this game we found out that we actually do have a running game and it can be pretty good.
