  1. In all of the commotion over the jaw dropping, game ending kick 6, I want to also send a shout out to our new returner, Kaelin Clay. Due to Clay's fantastic turbo jets TD punt return, the Ravens were able to stay in this game. Welcome to Baltimore, Kaelin Clay, what a great way to introduce yourself to us fans. Keep it up and congrats on your contribution to the win.

  2. No matter how decimated the roster and no matter how poorly we play at times, the path to rebounding next year starts with playing with heart on every snap til time expires. Despite a losing record, kudos to Harbs for maintaining the fighting, competitive spirit among his players. Fix some problems, fill some holes in the off season, then the lessons learned and habits developed in dealing with adversity this year will be the foundation upon which the Ravens rebuild and rebound next year.

  3. Um... We've held our own against Denver, and Cincy and only lost by a TD or less for the entire season. So we don't need help against a good team just more things going our way.

I realize that we have been in every game but our secondary is definitely a weakness that a really dominant offensive team will pick apart. Yeah, we need more things going our way but we also need to play better as well. Hope the Ravens take more steps in the off season to address this weakness.

  4. Just gonna throw this out here, Joe Flacco is a freaking MAN for running two more plays on a torn ACL, and then jogging off the field. His pain tolerance is insane!

Agree. It was impressive at the time but every player I have seen go down with the same or similar injury since then has been laying on the field, writhing in pain, with some being carted off the field. Seeing subsequent similar injuries makes me downright amazed that Joe jumped back up, hopped around a little, then simply returned to the huddle to finish the game. Joe is one tough, almost bionic dude to have pulled that off.

  5. It's important to give some of these unproven, lower tier players a shot, especially in our circumstances. The fact that Daniel played against the pre-season backups doesn't diminish the fact that Daniel may just have what it takes to be a solid receiver. Will never know til the Ravens get him on the field. So many excellent, under the radar players throughout the league have excelled and won stating roles unexpectedly when given their opportunity. Hope Daniel Brown is 1 of them.

  6. Well said salamander. It sure is a crazy season, but through adversity, we still have to play with intensity and heart until time expires in our last game.

I can accept losses but I will never be able to tolerate watching any team, at any time, not giving their best effort to win. We are likely to get a high draft pick regardless and I am concerned about drafting wisely even more than whether we get the #1 draft pick. Also, a lackluster effort can be a toxic pesky mindset and its lingering effects could come back to bite us next year.

  7. This season has gotten downright bizarre at this point. However, I am intrigued at seeing how these remaining games play out, win or lose. So much for my pre-conceived notions in the spring of being playoff bound. Hope that next season the Ravens can bounce back and will play the remaining games this season with effort and heart.
