  1. I knew I was impressed with Orr by his play on the field. However, I didn't know much about him as a person/teammate. It is clear that Orr is just as highly regarded off the field. I am even more impressed with this Raven today, realizing that this player with talent is also a man with such grace and character. Ravens fans will certainly miss him. Good luck Zachary

  2. Orr really stood out and made some amazing plays. Before this news, I was looking forward to watching him next year as a key player on the defense. Orr made the right decision to leave the game while his body is intact but I will surely miss the impressive plays he made. Orr is off to life's next great adventure and I wish him all the best in life. Glad Orr had such a terrific final year as a starter.

  3. 11 hours ago, Grapple Raven said:

Folks need to put this in its proper perspective:  Perriman isn't at fault here and I am sure he must be absolutely devastated.  He injured his right knee in his first year, he lost one of his best friends in Tray Walker, and by his own admission he said he was in "a dark place" after those two events, now his Dad is recuperating from a very debilitating stoke and currently he has sustained an injury to his left knee.  I would think a little compassion is due here as I think he has had enough to deal with without folks taking their frustration out on him.   How about a little moral support for the guy?  It isn't his fault.  There are other WR's out there, plus our own.  My goodness,  c'mon people.

Well put Grapple. Perriman had been through a rough enough time before this new injury happened. My heart goes out to him big time..

  4. I am so glad the Ravens brought in Ray Rice to talk to the rookies. Despite how terrible the elevator incident was, Ray has proven to me many times over that he has redeemed himself and worthy of my respect. The NFL should embrace the opportunity to encourage other teams to have their rookies benefit from Ray's experience. Wishing Ray Rice the best in life, always.

  5. Sheesh. If Harbaugh claims to not have known of the no helmet prohibition in rookie camp, he should have known. Regardless, there is unwanted fallout and there are consequences for an infraction of any of the rules, not to mention the damage to the reputation of the organization. Hope the consequences aren't too hefty. I also hate hearing the negativity in the media, especially opening the door for Patriots trolls.

  6. I certainly hope that the Ravens have already been able to identify some areas of needed improvement with the strength and conditioning program and that some of these changes have already been adopted. The need to revamp this program is going to be critical for the many guys rehabbing also. Active changes by the training staff to their conditioning routines are needed now, if we stand a chance to have a healthy, successful season.

  7. Super gesture by Bisciotti to step up and charter a plane for players and personnel to go to Tray's funeral. Not only did the charter plane make it easier for everyone but the time shared on the plane as friends and teammates to reflect, grieve and talk was probably comforting to all.
