I hope Matt lives up to his first round potential this year. I am more than willing to eat a big chunk of humble pie and I will gladly offer my most sincere apology for doubting him.

The multiple reports about the hearing that Brady gets an A plus and that he was so sincere and genuine make me want to puke. With dozens of lawyers in his corner, I am sure Brady had plenty of rehearsals and coaching for this epic performance/hearing. Just hope Goddell doesn't cave.

Listened to some reports about how Brady has helped his case tremendously and that his sincerity and honesty were soooo apparent. Can I vomit now?

I think this is the year where Joe will put it all together in the regular season. Not just being a homer. I sincerely wouldn't want any other QB than Joe. Joe continues to grow and will be impressive this year.

Joe's comment that "they are trying some new things so when teams come after them, we can hurt them a little bit more" will be most critical on our opening game against Kubiak's Broncos. For the moment, 1 could say that Kubiak has the definite edge to know and anticipate many of our offensive plays so really glad to hear Trestman is adding to the play arsenal. It will be a definite chess match between the coaches in Denver and it's reassuring that Trestman is already throwing some of his own new plays in to the mix. Will need some unfamiliar plays in order to start this season off right with a very important win.

Some teams have to endure the detrimental impact of the massive ego of a coach, owner and/or GM. So glad Ravens are drama free from front office theatrics and don't have the egomaniacs which annoy me on some other teams. It's the collective co-operative chemistry of the FO that is the foundation of a Ravens organization that allows our team to produce a highly competitive team year in and year out.

Joe's demeanor throughout OTA's and mini-camp has consistently seemed very confident and on top of things with the transition to a new OC and a bunch of new receivers. As far as the offense goes, if Joe is positive and comfortable, there's no significant cause for me to worry about what this offense can achieve. If Joe's chillin', I'm chillin'.

The contrast of off season conditioning strategies between the 2 vets, Suggs and Doom is like night and day. I hope the saying "different strokes for different folks" is true in this case and I hope Suggs is back to peak form by the season's start. However, I am far more confident in Doom's philosophy of year round conditioning.

Anyone who doesn't think the continuity to improve with the same excellent O line isn't a huge deal, just think back a couple of years. I vividly recall watching our O line struggles, alternating cussing at the TV...or audibly groaning. When Joe is protected and lanes open up, good things will surely follow.

Seems like a very extroverted SSS has decided to savor every moment he has left in the NFL. While most guys look like they are going through the motions to get this photo shoot out of the way (except for Tucker, of course), SSS truly looks like he is having a good old time hamming it up. Makes me sad to know we have limited time left with SSS. I am going to miss his spirited, spunky presence and influence on this team. Damn, wish he was 21 years old with a decade or so left to play. Oh well, glad we got him for even just a few years. Really enjoy what SSS has brought to the Ravens.

Love to hear that SSS is teaching the rookies the right mental attitude. SSS got on both Boyle and Carter after a strip and an incompletion for not hustling afterwards. Beyond helping with the skill development, the mental toughness lessons leave me grateful that SSS is on the field and is being a great mentor in all aspects of the game. Makes me feel more confident in this young receiving corps knowing that SSS is doing ALL he can to get these guys NFL ready.

Surprised that Suggs arrived at camp a bit out of shape compared to prior years. Maybe the logic is that his older body needs more rest in the off season but it has me a little worried. I would have guessed that an aging vet would have maintained or intensified off season conditioning as he got older, not reduce it. I hope that this approach doesn't come back to bite Suggs in the above mentioned love handles.

I certainly do realize 100% that video of the incident is surely the reason Ray Rice was treated more harshly than any other DV in the league. I realize that DV is not new to the league and that a video made all the difference in the outcome. I just hope a team picks him up. I wish more players who know and support him would publically say so. Ray unfairly took on the wrath and hatred of millions as the national poster boy for DV. It would be nice if more positive support of his character surfaced. Ray did so much for his community, he is a great locker room presence and I believe Ray to be an honorable man who has made amends to those he loves. Thanks to Torrey and Derrick for having Ray's back and speaking up.

No player in the NFL has paid anywhere near the extreme price for any DV incident than Ray Rice. Not even close. Ray deserves another chance and paid dearly for what he did. I still believe Ray Rice is a man worthy of redemption.

Hey Terrell, remember to show up donning the the gladiator mask. Need to show these rookies the proper Ravens mindset.

Good to know Melvin is resilient enough to not have let his confidence be shattered by the Pats game. I admire Melvin's rebounding confidence and maturity to move past that game and use every failure as a chance to learn and get better.

Another pleasant surprise from the brilliant folks in the Ravens FO. They keep finding quality guys with serious potential.

Wrongly presumed Bruschi was too much of a Pats homer to ever have spoken this highly of their Ravens rival. Feels a little uncomfortable to be getting love from the media but I am pleasantly surprised at Bruschi's personal top ranking. At least I will pay attention when ex-Pat Bruschi comments from now on. LOL

It's particularly touching to me that Osemele appears to have experienced some bumps in the road growing up having Mom under the strain of working 3 jobs to support the family. The bottom line is that in the end Osemele let go of whatever caused him a lot of "pain", then came to understand and feel gratitude for all his mother sacrificed in order to raise 4 kids on her own. Being a single parent can be pretty tough. Kudos to both Osemele and Urschel.

Love yesterday's video where SSS was manning the front desk to surprise some fans. What an excellent gesture for Harbs to arrange to have several players take the time to talk to fans and show them around. Now that was 1 classy way for the Ravens to show appreciation for their fans.

If Trestman's offense can produce at a high level, Chicago woes will be forgotten or would likely be blamed on Cutler and it's possible that we could get stuck looking for another OC. The article makes me feel a little better that Trestman is off the HC prospect list for now but never say never in the NFL. Ravens have lost more than their share of good coaches. Praying for our coaches to excel this year but to also STAY under the HC radar.

Always liked Juice. I recall how upset he was about fumbling the ball in the past, saying he didn't fumble in college. Juice has a couple of untimely fumbles under his belt so I hope he has fixed securing the ball at the NFL level. If Juice doesn't fumble and doesn't get his snaps cut dramatically as a result, he could be another unexpected weapon that the defense may underestimate. Juice can block for sure in the run game.
