I love how Weddle is in the audience for the press conference of Woodhead & Jefferson![]()

He is considered a better pure cover guy than his teammate Peterson coming out. He is hitting his stride now. And in ravens schemes that commands a players best. He could really hit his stride and be the top cornerback in the league.
He won't be top anything if he doesn't stay on the field for more than 8 games a season.

Can't put all that confidence in a CB more injury prone than Jimmy to start opposite Jimmy. For all we know, and I pray it doesn't happen if we got Morris, they could both be hurt by week 6.
Now if Corey Davis is there at 16, I get him. The Eagles were expected to get a WR in round one and I can't see that happening now so there's a chance.
The only way I see Corey Davis being there is if that 4.22 from John Ross shoots him up the board and above Davis. The Bills could do with a WR.

I personally was was hoping for a Bmarsh/Alshon and Dalvin in RD.1. Woodhead is ALRIGHT - should be a good 3rd down back. Idc what anyone says come back from ACL tears is hard and can fundamentally change you, no matter how much you have healed - ask Webb. Especially with KDs sus, We need a legit #1 RB AND a legit #1 receiver.
Pryor Is an interesting candidate. If I he had maybe another year of experience and good stats to back him up I'd be much more on-board. But idk we have all seen players have 1 great year and then disappear. Idk.
Mike Williams is definitely deserving of his title. He might be slower but THATS OKAY! We have enough speed. Why we need is a bigger body player that has good HANDS to snag catches over the middle. The last thing we need right now is a speed demon.
Honestly, I'll be pretty mad if we go defense in Round 1 OR Round 2. In a year where the CB class is incredibally deep, we can get a SOLID CB in RD 3. We will have a VASTLY improved secondary next year in Smith-Jefferson-Weddle-Draft Pick..
IMO WE GOTTTTTA work on our offense. I'm so sick of seeing teams put up 40 points when we can barely score 17 and win/lose games by 5 or less.
With that being said, after addressing RB/WR - we should absolutely address CB/LB/DE - Orr's leaving provides a hole and this very well could be Suggs' last year.
So you don't think we should get a pass rusher or CB early? That would be a huge mistake IMO.
8 minutes ago, Davesta said:Just gotta pass the bills and cardinals. I hope Corey Davis falls because of his recent surgery. One of those team is going to draft mike Williams. Hope John Ross 40 time shoots him up, and Davis falls to us
Something tells me the Bills will pull the trigger on Davis.

If we pass on some big talent corners or pass rushers for another TE I won't be too impressed.

You had me panicking then, I thought it was next year![]()
Just now, jboy19 said:Gonna be hard to keep Mosley now...
Surely we do whatever it takes to tie him down?
Who does more on the field, Harrison or Williams? If it's the former then why have we paid Williams so much more?
Not to be negative but part of me wishes we'd gone for a big time WR instead but I'll roll with it. Welcome back BW.

Sounds about right.
1 minute ago, ellicottraven said:I believe if we land Claiborne then we're going WR or Edge rusher in the first. I believe if Derek Barnett or Foster is available it's over and that's who we'll pick. However, if both are gone, then we pick one of the top 3 receivers. Williams, Davis or the fast one Ross.
Would picking Ross make sense though if we already have Wallace & Perriman?
Just now, Cville-Raven said:I'm wondering if we would still take a corner in the first if we signed Claiborne. I'm quite a fan of Sidney Jones.
I think we'd still have to take one early just to cover the eventual injuries that Smith & Claiborne pick up.
Had no idea Morris Clairborne had missed that many games in recent years.
I don't think we had a choice considering there's next to nobody left on the market.
What's going on with free agency in recent years? That's mental.
1 minute ago, rossihunter2 said:sounds like jefferson is weighing all his opportunities - browns are apparently offering him way more money than anyone else but the jets and ravens are also interested
I don't see us challenging again for a couple of years so he might as well chase the money.
2 minutes ago, rmcjacket23 said:Not really. If they can get a decent deal out of Torrey, then you decline Wallace's option.
Really not a whole lot of difference between those two guys from what I've seen on the field, and you'd get the younger, cheaper player.
Well that'd be a different story BUT I wouldn't put it past the FO to keep Wallace as well.
Just now, 52520Andrew said:... On bright side for the Ravens, I'm told there is a very, very strong likelihood of Torrey Smith signing with BAL. Good news for Flacco
I seriously hope that's a joke.
2 minutes ago, redlobster said:Reported that the Ravens have asked Pitta to take a pay cut. Just rip the band-aid and cut him.
And they wonder why we're in this position.
This board helped me to finally get to converse with fellow Ravens fans so I'll always be thankful for that.
15 hours ago, FloridalovesRavens said:Poor choice of words on your part. You don't "get over" domestic violence.
Not really, his choice of words were perfectly fine. He never said for people to get over domestic violence, he said the hypocrisy that the team shows when deciding which players to sign based on their history with domestic violence.
What is it with Brett Favre being in nearly every advert on this channel? ![]()
