Realistically, I think Ozzie trades down twice early, that's unless a top 10-15 guy is there and ready to go at 16 like Barnett, Williams, Davis, Foster, etc.

I mean after top 15, there really is no telling where anyone has the next batch of players. This is a very unique draft. Dare I say I would trade completely out of the first if we got an additional second and third.

Just a 2nd and a 3rd for our 16th pick? We'd be getting robbed with that trade.

So the Ravens traded a former second-rounder, the only productive interior pass-rusher, one of the few guys with attitude, in his contract year, in order to save $1M and move up 24 spots in the third round? I don't get it. This doesn't help the team win in 2017, which had better happen or Harbs and maybe even Ozzie will be gone.

For the $1M, you can't sign a player even half as productive. If they were worried about re-signing him next year, let another team overpay and receive a probable 3rd round comp pick.  Eagles got a good deal here.

People keep throwing this 3rd round comp pick idea around to support their argument but it's flawed because there's no guarantee of us getting it.

So Jerry Jones is trying to drum up trade interest for Romo by announcing that teams are free to talk to him. Teams can work him out, do whatever but teams aren't budging.

Seems to me the QB needy teams know they will release him after no trade interest so why bother wasting draft picks acquiring him.

I don't get why they think teams would want to trade for him anyway considering his age and injury history.

I'm guessing Calvin Ridley isn't eligible to come out in this draft? The dude is bittersweet! One of my favorite college players ever. Skills similar to Torrey Holt and Chad Johnson. I would trade picks to move up and get him. Chris Moore has similar skills but isn't quite that good.

He'll be eligible for next year's draft I think.

I don't think it's lazy projection, just plain wrong. There isn't a lineman this year who's going to be the best player at #16.

Especially when some of those linemen are only projected to be good at guard rather than at tackle.

  7. The whole idea of the cities paying for stadiums is ridiculous to me. I'm far too used to the premise that if a team wants a new stadium then they have to pay for it themselves unless the stadium was used for a previous event (West Ham after the Olympics & Manchester City after the Commonwealth Games). I don't understand why people have to pay for a stadium for a team or sport they may not care for.

    not at all.

the offense still has about 30 mil more tied up into them.

we actually have at this point the 4th cheapest defense in the NFL lol

That was a prime example of somebody not doing research before posting.

Really hoping something happens with Claiborne. We can focus a lot of picks on edge rushers and linebackers. Really light a fire under Correa's butt. Hopefully grab a wide receiver in an early round and a bargain RT

If we get Claiborne then it's still vitally important that we draft a CB at the top end of the draft. It doesn't have to be in the first round but definitely with one of our first 3 picks.

I hope he works out but I am not crazy about the signing. I think it sends the wrong message to the young guys on the team. The coaches and front office giving up on Buck Allen, and taking snaps away from Dixon and West. All of them are still very young players for a 32 yr old that has been injured more often than playing in the last 3 years.

Are those young guys so bad that you reach out. What does that say about their own confidence to draft and develop ?

Of course, how rude of the FO to bring in a RB to cover for Dixon when he's out due to taking PED's.
