I mean after top 15, there really is no telling where anyone has the next batch of players. This is a very unique draft. Dare I say I would trade completely out of the first if we got an additional second and third.
Just a 2nd and a 3rd for our 16th pick? We'd be getting robbed with that trade.

I suggest # 25 .
Would be good to see Walker's number back in use again.

It'll depend on who falls to us though.

Is Canady not a corner? Webb will provide safety depth.

I don't get it. This doesn't help the team win in 2017, which had better happen or Harbs and maybe even Ozzie will be gone.
For the $1M, you can't sign a player even half as productive. If they were worried about re-signing him next year, let another team overpay and receive a probable 3rd round comp pick. Eagles got a good deal here.
People keep throwing this 3rd round comp pick idea around to support their argument but it's flawed because there's no guarantee of us getting it.
Can tell I'm half asleep, only just realised we traded the comp pick and not our 16. I like that we have 2 picks so close together now in the 3rd with the likes of Sidney & JuJu possibly being available there but I'm too tired to work out the alternatives should we have let him see out his contract.
Watch us trade out of that position now.

Seems to me the QB needy teams know they will release him after no trade interest so why bother wasting draft picks acquiring him.
I don't get why they think teams would want to trade for him anyway considering his age and injury history.

Skills similar to Torrey Holt and Chad Johnson. I would trade picks to move up and get him. Chris Moore has similar skills but isn't quite that good.
He'll be eligible for next year's draft I think.

Especially when some of those linemen are only projected to be good at guard rather than at tackle.

I like the Jackson pick.
How/why is Tim Williams falling so dramatically on these mock sites?
It's the first time I've taken notice of mock drafts, what a load of garbage they all are. All they're doing it for is to cover their backsides with "I told you so" moments and pretend that they're some sort of experts.
The whole idea of the cities paying for stadiums is ridiculous to me. I'm far too used to the premise that if a team wants a new stadium then they have to pay for it themselves unless the stadium was used for a previous event (West Ham after the Olympics & Manchester City after the Commonwealth Games). I don't understand why people have to pay for a stadium for a team or sport they may not care for.

That Marcas Mariatta sounds a player, we should trade for him.

the offense still has about 30 mil more tied up into them.
we actually have at this point the 4th cheapest defense in the NFL lol
That was a prime example of somebody not doing research before posting.
Claiborne does realise a season is 16+ games long, right? $7.5m a year for him?![]()
20 minutes ago, Jaydoog said:Our WR depth chart is atrocious and probably the worst position on the team. We need to get Mike Williams with the 1st pick if possible.
If Williams is there when we pick then go get him but if not then there are other options in the following rounds.
Something tells me this draft could be a bit unrealistic

If we get Claiborne then it's still vitally important that we draft a CB at the top end of the draft. It doesn't have to be in the first round but definitely with one of our first 3 picks.
He's not wrong about the life of a backup QB. $7m guaranteed for sitting on his backside every week.
2 hours ago, law215 said:I hope he works out but I am not crazy about the signing. I think it sends the wrong message to the young guys on the team. The coaches and front office giving up on Buck Allen, and taking snaps away from Dixon and West. All of them are still very young players for a 32 yr old that has been injured more often than playing in the last 3 years.
Are those young guys so bad that you reach out. What does that say about their own confidence to draft and develop ?
Of course, how rude of the FO to bring in a RB to cover for Dixon when he's out due to taking PED's.
1 minute ago, ellicottraven said:Guy is the one guy I'm shocked we didn't pursue. Bad move that we'll regret.
Maybe we did but being guaranteed a playoff spot every year whereas we can't buy a playoff spot at the moment was the difference.
Lawrence Guy has signed a 4 year deal with the Patriots worth $20m according to Zrebiec.

I'd love for this to happen BUT how confident are people that Sidney Jones will fall so far? If there's a possibility that he still plays this season then will he really make it to the 3rd round? I can see a team taking him much sooner.
