I'm not that knowledgeable when it comes to college football but in terms of quality in comparison to other DB's in college, how good is Eddie Jackson for Alabama?

I'm thinking of dropping one of my WR's (Jordan Matthews) for another but I can't decide between Allen Hurns and Travis Benjamin. My current WR list is: Emmanuel Sanders, Jeremy Maclin, Brandon Marshall, Steve Smith Sr. and Jordan Matthews.

You should never purposely tank at anything. It doesn't set a good example to the younger athletes/people and it does nothing for your own confidence either. It in turn means even worse performances from individuals and a lesser chance of a new contract with the current or other team in the future. Acquiring a higher draft pick is not a good enough excuse. I genuinely don't think I could put up with 11 more weeks of the performances we've put in so far, I'll lose any marbles I currently possess. Finishing 7-9 wouldn't be the end of the world although it will quite annoying as we'd miss the playoffs and end up with a reasonable but not great draft number. Should we have given up during Ray Lewis' final year when the odds were stacked against us week in week out? I didn't think I'd associate any Raven's fan with wanting to purposely tank.

Being cynical it wouldn't surprise me if we did trade back and then trade a group of picks to get multiple picks in certain rounds. I'd like to think we'd pick up a top player though like you suggested.
So one missed field goal today means he gets less despite the amount of times he's won games for us? I don't see the front office going [profanity deleted] for tat.
Luckily for me I don't know that many people who watch the NFL. We waited months on end for the season to start and within 4-5 weeks it's all done with. Now its another 6-7 months until something worth waiting for comes around. At least we'll get a top pick
This has been painful to watch on the other side of the pond, I feel sorry for those of you who have to put up with this in the media every day. We'll get like the 3rd or 4th pick and end up trading down and end up with 15 picks in the draft.
Would be great if the D would stop leaving massive holes for McCown to run into and then the safeties might as well have been in our own end zone they were so deep.
I was thinking that, he seemed to carry on running backwards when Brown was wide open. Flacco has done that a couple of times today (not saying he's been the problem before somebody gets emotional).
