I think his agent is trying to keep his client value as high as possible and It's not out of the realm to believe his 40 time could be  at the 4.57 or 4.60 range. Imagine if his 40 time was 4.60 to go along with his vertical jump  which was at 32.5 inches at the combine. I don't see how his stock doesn't drop with those type of numbers even though 40 is a bit overrated.

I agree that that is what the agent is trying to do, but I'd like these players to come out and compete and hopefully teams base most of there draft stock on the game tape.  Do you really think that Cook is going to drop that far due to his poor combine showing?

I absolutely love his possession receiver ability, but I really question his decision not to run the 40 at the combine. Means he could be in the 4.6-4.7 range and while that's not particularly bad for a guy of his size, it would give me pause. Not enough pause to that he's not the top guy I want besides maybe if one of Barnett/Thomas/Charlton falls to us, but still pause.

A lot of this advice, as bad as it is, comes from the agent.  He should be able to make his own decisions and all receivers, if not injured, should be prepared to run the 40 at the combine.

  3. I certainly wouldn't mind the Ravens drafting Mike Williams in real life.  Guys a baller and is going to be a beast in the red zone.  He is constantly winning jump balls.  He may not be as polished a route runner as Corey Davis is, but I believe he will have a successful career in the NFL.  Good pick @JO_75

  4. This site will most likely be temporary until we find a more permanent site.  If you are on this site you will be notified what site we transition to.

Im pretty sure we have some people that will be willing to donate time and money to make sure that this happens.  Who knows, maybe it will end up being better in the long run.

Yep. It makes it much easier since we get to points in the draft where we have multiple skipped picks being made up.

Totally agree that doing it this way keeps things simpler.

Btw, I think last years first round took a while as well.  In my first year (2015), we had 18 picks, or something like that, on the first day.

That's what I'm trying to figure out. We have pick 7, then 9, 10, 11 12 and then the Eagles posted the 14th pick. Usually in the draft, teams jump other teams if they let the time run out. I think we need a Mod to edit the posts so it goes 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13. That way when the Panthers finally do pick, he can jump in whenever. So say I make my pick which would now technically be 15, he makes a pick after me which would be the 16th pick. This is just confusing me now.

We decided to do it this way a while back because it makes it easier for rmw as he updates the big board

I think Zach Brown would be a better addition than Barwin. Replace Zach Orr perfectly and was in the Pro bowl last year. 149 tackles, 4 sacks, and 1 int last year and is still a free agent.

And I like Zach Brown over Barwin.  We can't afford both
