I'm a culprit at my latest pick, so I'll take some blame, but I agree.  The number of trades going on has really slowed the progress.  We did get 2 rounds in less than a week which isn't awful but we could be going a lot faster.

Two years ago we got through 100 picks in 8 days.  Last year I believe it was about this pace, maybe slower.

Rookies seldom make great centers. The center has to make so many pre-snap reads that rookies usually do need to grow into that position. It takes 2 or 3 yrs.
So I think that a trade if they don't sign Mangold is more likely for a center for this season. They can then draft a prospect later in the draft.

Whitehair was a 2nd round pick last year and was a top 10 center last year.  Yes, it doesn't happen that often, but it can without question be better than what we had last year.

I wish I understood the comp pick formula better. But I'm almost certain that Carr doesn't count against that formula.

so in this scenario. Is Jefferson canceled out by Juice or Wagner? If ts juice then Wagner lands us a 3rd. If Wagner then juice probably lands us a 4th or 5th

to me, if your expecting a 3rd round comp the. It's worth passing fighting for but if all you get is a 4th or a 5th then heck go out and get the best FA you can

Players who are cut don't count against the comp pick formula.  Players who become fa due to a contract expiring count against the formula.

Was going Awuzie at 14 but was hoping either Melifonwu or Baker made it to me at 20 or could then trade back.   The long delays and timing didn't help as everyone that wanted to trade up earlier are now either offline or suspiciously quiet

I'm in the same situation that my trade partners aren't online and I pick right after you. That being said, I'm most likely going to make my pick.

I really fell in love with his tape. He's a high-effort guy with a nose for the ball and he's a surprisingly sure tackler. He's got good block shedding ability, and he was listed as a LB at Washington in some news articles because he lined up as more of a box safety in most games I watched. He switched to the nickleback role at times as well. I'll probably slot him in at SS for now with Darrelle Revis at FS.

Forgot you have Revis, makes sense.
