    Maybe the Ravens could put some of that 45 million into Castle renovations to get some better players.

      just because we cut Daryl Smith doesn't mean we are going to draft Jack.  No GM in the right mind would cut a player when because they THINK they will be drafting jack or any player.   Ozzie will draft BPA and Jack is one of if not the BEST player in this DRAFT.  He is a true Swiss Army Knife and much much much more gifted than Shaq Thompson.  The guy can cover CB, WR, RB and TE.  He can play anywhere on the defense outside of LOS.  He's multi talented. 

       

      That being said I'm good with drafting Jack, Bosa, Buckner, Ramsey, Tunsil, Stanley, or Hargeaves and in no particular order.

    So is Marvin Lewis on the hot seat now? in 12 years of being the Cincy head coach he still has not won a playoff game and now their are question marks as to whether he can control the team at all. Over the past few years some people have said he should get fired because his Bengals have run straight into a wall, even with Dalton they can't win a playoff game. Perhaps a coaching change is in store for them.

      I'd agree. Mike Brown doesn't make changes that quickly. He is very loyal.

      I'd root for the Skins over the Steelers of course. BTW, Peter Angelos did block DC from getting a baseball team as well until he finally lost. Now he owns the TV market.

      Both Coach and GM are equally important, but if the GM can't find the tools needed to build a successful team, how is the coach supposed to function.

    Our depth at WR is going to make training camp interesting next year. Aiken & Marlon Brown are RFA so they will be back. Daniel Brown, Jeremy Butler and Chris Matthews are ERFAs. Givens being the only UFA WR. Plus Clay is a ERFA so for another two years we get a low costing yet great returner.

      Having SSS say he's coming back is a big relief AND having Aiken performing so well helps a lot, outside of these two all the others are just potential

    Hoping for a big day with Mallett behind center...he used to be very promising coming out of college, maybe with a bit of maturity and humility from earlier this season he can get himself together...hoping for a big day from Butler and Aiken

      If he plays I doubt he has the same chemistry with Aiken & Butler as Clauson has.

      Agree that Treadwell isn't anywhere near a top 5 player and would take VH3 over Ramsey, but Ramsey would be awesome in a S/CB hybrid role. Bosa is scheme diverse. I'm fine with all of these players and I'll throw Tunsil and Stanley into the mix.

      Hargreaves is 5'10 1/2. I wouldn't call that great size, but he's one of the best CB's that has come out in quite some time. That being said, he depends on what we do with DC. If we don't trade down, Treadwell isn't an option.

      Yes, it is very effective for increasing throwing velocity, which is why I don't think he used them. His velocity has never been the same since the injury. He only regained a little bit of his velocity in the 2014 season. We may never know, but it is in my judgement that he never used HGH or any type of steroids in 2011.

      I'm not sure if I hated them, but it was nice to have something different for a change. Not sure I'd like the all purple like, but with gold trim it may be ok. Lets stick to our current uni's with the all black alternatives

    Hypothetically, if the Ravens do get a low draft pick and end the season under .500 do we go into rebuilding? or continue to try to plug in pieces of our puzzle.

    Look at our schedule. 0-3 to the 6th Seed is entirely possible. Including winning the next three in a row against PIT, CLE and SF.

      @ravensdfan, lets hope that Pees gets fired because of these defensive meltdowns. He isn't putting the players in the position to succeed AND their are very good players out there.
