That would cost us aleast our 2nd round pick to get from 26 to 15 and that may not be high enough. Doubt Ozzie moves up that high.

I believe Crabtree would have been more productive with a better qb such as flacco throwing him the ball.

I agree, I don't remember anyone retiring after one season who had a promising career ahead of him. I liked Borland coming out of school I remember the knock on him was that he was too slow, but he was an extremely smart player that took excellent angles. He made a hell of impression in his one season. Although not as good as CJ, he did have 107 tackles of his own. Something to be very proud of.

Agree, I believe next year will be much better in terms of the cap because Joe will restructure and a lot of dead money will fall off the books. I'm hopiing that Yanda and or KO will be extended this offseason to prevent us losing them next offseason. Hopefully there will be some nice cap casualties next offseason or atleast cap casualties that the FO is interested in signing. If Jimmy is injured he will probably come on a 1 year prove it contract, because it would be two years in a row.

I decided to go John Miller instead of Josh Harper with 5.17 because I hadn't been able to draft a Guard yet in the draft and felt they were of equal value at that point. In my heart I knew he would be gone at 6.13 when I pick again.

Like the Josh Harper pick. I would have taken him if he was available in the 6th

You'll get a kick out of this. I said extremeskins was having a mock draft. They were considering allowing 1-2 hours to make a draft pick, yet they have many fans in Europe. Definitely don't know what they are doing over there. Lol

He'll be just as hard, but differently, to replace as Reed. That being said, Jernigan was a very good player as a rookie for us during Ngata's suspension. Much quicker burst than Ngata, but he's not Ngata. He'll play the position differently, but I feel he will be a very good player for us in the long term. I liked Jernigan in the latter half of the first round for us. I was amazed he fell into the 2nd round.

This is an excellent post and I agree wholeheartedly that the Ravens will no if he is a bust or not during the offseason, maybe even before training camp. If he is, expect Ozzie to attempt to trade him.

I was just reading through Extremeskins to see what was going on in fantasy land super bowl winning offseason. Anyway while I was doing so I noticed that they are having a GM mock draft as well. It's nothing like this one. All they are doing is the mock draft. Nothing related to FA. they also can trade future draft picks. This game has been very well thought out and put together by the team who planned it. There is nothing like it on any other board I have visited. Go Ravens!

The White / Cooper scenario is exactly what I think is going to happen, not including trades. What I do see happening is the Jets jumping in front of the Skins to draft Mariota. I don't feel the Skins will draft Mariota, but they will trade with a qb needy team. I definitely don't see Mariota lasting past the Skins. Anyway, I've gotten off track a little bit explaining the Raiders situation, but that's what I feel will happen.

yeah right, with as many players that are still on the board, we both were thinking the same player. That's been done to me on a few of the occasions. It happened to me in the first round when the 11th pick was Vic Beasley. I ended up picking Shane Ray because Beasley had already been picked. If i hadn't traded down with Cleveland I would have taken Danny Shelton.

I don't know, if Cooper and White are gone by the Minnesota pick, I think it's possible that Parker goes to Minnesota. That being said, it's quite possible that Cooper falls out of the top 10 and goes to Minnesota. White may be a freak and have a higher upside, but Cooper is the best route runner of the two and the most polished receiver in this class.
