  1. That's the site I use, so that works out good. I saw some other people on reddit saying the ESPN machine had things wrong for other teams. Thanks!
  2. Can someone help me out here. The ESPN playoff machine, and the website I use are contradicting each other. If the Ravens beat the Dolphins, Eagles, and Bengals, and lose to the Patriots and Steelers... and the Steelers beat the Bengals, Ravens, and Browns, and lose to the Giants and Bills... do we win the division? The ESPN playoff machine says we lose the common games tiebreaker but the website I use says we win it.
  3. We Win 2 of our next 3. Steelers drop 3 in a row. We clinch the division Week 15. Unlikely, but would be awesome to see.
  4. Agreed. The Broncos schedule is.. vs Chiefs, at Jaguars, at Titans, vs Patriots, At Chiefs, vs Raiders. I think they'll go 10-6 or 11-5, but each of those games could be tough. Who knows. I think the Chiefs have a better chance to fall to 9-7 though.
  5. I would love for him to return next year. He could defy father time for another season, and Steve knows that, but as of right now I think he's done after this season. I think it all comes down to his family. They're his top priority. If they tell him to give it another go, then I think he comes back. Regardless, I'm so thankful that I've gotten to experience 3 years of one of the most inspirational, tough, and hard-working receivers in NFL history as a Baltimore Raven. I couldn't ask for more. I just hope he can recreate his first TD as a Raven against the Bengals by grabbing and slamming Adam Jones to the ground on his way to a TD.
  6. Don't get me wrong, Flacco very well could throw for 300 yards and 3 TDs. I just think that he won't have to do that tomorrow. We establish the run with Dixon and West, and have a few long drives that take up clock and result in points. We win the Time of Possesion battle tomorrow, with no pressure on Flacco to throw a lot. He'll secure the ball and manage the game.
  7. I'm feeling a 20-13 win here for us. I don't think either team will pull away with the game, but the Ravens defense will be too much for the Bengals. J. Flacco 18/28 214 yards, 1 TD / 0 int. T. West 11 carries, 49 yards, TD E. Weddle 1 int.
  8. Also, after looking at it, we also have a chance to win the Wild Card at 9-7 too if the Steelers were to go 10-6 somehow. I think the Chiefs are in danger of slipping to 9-7, while the 2 and 5 seed go to the Raiders/Broncos. We would get the tiebreaker over them, along with other teams. The Chiefs (7-3) schedule is... at Broncos, at Falcons, vs Raiders, vs Titans, vs Broncos, at Chargers. They could very well go 2-4 within those games. The Dolphins (6-4) schedule is... vs 49ers, at Ravens, vs Cardinals, at Jets, at Bills, vs Patriots. I think it's very possible they go 9-7, maybe even 10-6, which worries me a little. We need to beat them for sure. The Bills, Chargers, Colts, and Titans could make a run at the Wild Card too, but I think they fall just short. I'm just saying that while our most likely path to the playoffs is winning the AFC North, we may somehow be able to squeak in a wild card berth at 9-7.
  9. Scenario #1: If the Steelers beat either the Giants or Bills, they will be 7-6. If the Ravens beat the Bengals and Dolphins and lose to the Pats, they will be 7-6. The Ravens would have to beat the Steelers and either the Eagles or Bengals in order to win the division. Scenario #2: If the Steelers beat either the Giants or Bills, they will be 7-6. If the Ravens beat the Bengals and Dolphins and lose to the Pats, they will be 7-6. The Ravens have to beat the Eagles and Bengals, and they can lose to the Steelers as long as the Steelers lose to either the Bengals or Browns. Scenario #3: If the Steelers lose to the the Giants and Bills, they will be 6-7. If the Ravens beat the Bengals and Dolphins and lose to the Pats, they'll be 7-6. The Ravens win the division by beating the Steelers, by winning 2/3 of their remaining games, or by the Steelers losing to the Bengals and Browns. In this scenario, the Ravens could clinch the division in week 15 with a win over the Eagles, and the Steelers losing to the Bengals. Scenario #4: If the Steelers beat both the Giants and Bills, they will be 8-5. If the Ravens beat the Bengals and Dolphins and lose to the Pats, they will be 7-6. Winning one more game than the Steelers will win the division for the Ravens. The Ravens would most likely have to go 10-6 here. I believe that this is the most unlikely scenario.
  10. It's technically possible for us to win the division at 5-9-2. That's using a NFL predictor website anyways. Just funny that there's a way for us to win the division without winning another game. Crazy, right?
  11. Bengals lose Bernard and Green for the year. Ouch.
  12. Here's some scenarios assuming the Bengals aren't in the race. #1: Ravens: W,W,L,W,L,W (9-7) Steelers: W,W,L,L,W,W (9-7) Ravens win the division #2: Ravens: W,W,L,W,L,L (8-8) Steelers: L,W,L,L,W,W (8-8) Ravens win the division #3: Ravens: W,W,L,W,L,L (8-8) Steelers: L,L,L,W,W,W (8-8) Steelers win the division #4: Ravens: W,W,L,L,W,L (8-8) Steelers: L,W,L,W,L,W (8-8) Ravens win the division #5: Ravens: W,W,L,L,W,W (9-7) Steelers: L,W,W,W,L,W (9-7) Ravens win the division #6: Ravens: W,W,L,W,L,W (9-7) Steelers: L,W,L,W,W,W (9-7) Ravens win the division #7: Ravens: W,W,L,W,L,W (9-7) Steelers: W,L,L,W,W,W (9-7) Steelers win the division #8: Ravens: W,W,L,W,L,W (9-7) Steelers: L,L,W,W,W,W (9-7) Steelers win the division #9: Ravens: W,W,L,L,L,W (8-8) Steelers: L,L,L,WW,W (8-8) Ravens win the division #10: Ravens: W,W,L,W,W,L (9-7) Steelers: L,W,W,W,L,W (9-7) Ravens win the division #11: Ravens: W,W,L,W,L,W (9-7) Steelers: L,W,W,L,W,W (9-7) Ravens win the division #12: Ravens: W,W,L,W,L,W (9-7) Steelers: W,L,W,L,W,W (9-7) Ravens win the division Which one of these is most likely? No idea. These aren't all of the possibilities either.
  13. With AJ Green possibly out for the year, things get interesting. I think 9-7 should win the division. Ravens still have: Vs Bengals (W), Vs Dolphins (W), @Patriots (L), Vs Eagles (W), @Steelers (L), @Bengals (W). (9-7) Steelers still have: @Colts, Vs Giants, @Bills, @Bengals, Vs Ravens, Vs Browns. The Steelers have to lose at least 2 of those games. Chances are, a 9-7 tie would go to the Ravens. Now I think even 8-8 could happen for us too. Most scenarios I see us getting the tiebreakers over the Steelers, even if they beat us on Christmas. I just want to make the playoffs.
  14. I'm confused because Jimmy seemed fine, saying that he's okay, but then he doesn't practice at all (maybe limited Friday) and is considered Doubtful. For some reason, I feel like he plays, idk why, despite it being unlikely.
  15. May have already been mentioned, but does anyone remember hearing that at halftime of week 17, 2014, Joe really hyped up the team and used the "f" word while giving a pep talk? It was when we had to beat the Browns in order to make the playoffs (along with a chargers loss). We came out, and won 20-10. I think it was Torrey Smith who said it was the most determined and serious he's ever seen Joe.
  16. Can't wait for this. Going to be watching this in my Steve Jersey! He's only been here 3 years and he's one of my favorite Ravens ever. Plus, he's one of my biggest inspirations.
  17. Maybe this could be merged with the W-L Projections thread, but I want to approach this differently. The Ravens are 3-4, currently the 8th Seed in the AFC. The easy part of the schedule is over, and a playoff run is seeming less and less likely. However, there is still reason for optimism and hope, but the P-word has to be thrown out right now. Just focus on one game at a time. Any chance that the Ravens have comes down to next game. The Ravens will be in first place over the Steelers if they beat them in two weeks. After using a season predictor, I've done multiple scenarios and here are my results... At 9-7, it is unlikely that the Ravens get into the Playoffs. Through mixing and matching many games, most scenarios have the Ravens losing tiebreakers to the Chiefs, Raiders (lose head to head), and Broncos. We really have to hope that some AFC West teams start losing games. Few scenarios had the Ravens getting into the playoffs as a wild card team at 9-7. To be honest, the best chance for the Ravens to make the playoffs at 9-7 is winning the division, which will put them at the #3 seed, assuming the AFC South takes the #4 seed, probably at an 8-8 record. The Bengals and Steelers still have tough roads ahead, The Bengals still have the Redskins, Giants, Bills, Ravens x2, Steelers, and Texans. They will probably lose 3-4 more, putting them at 8-8, or 9-7, but not in division contention due to tiebreakers. The Steelers still have the Ravens x2, Bengals, Cowboys, Colts, Giants, and Bills. I can see them losing 3-5 of those games, putting them around 9-7, or 10-6. In most of my scenarios, a tie at 9-7 between the Steelers and Ravens had the Ravens winning the division. At 10-6, the Ravens chances are much better at making the playoffs. Most scenarios had them making the playoffs, unless it came down to us and the Raiders, where they beat us Head to Head. 10-6 gives us a better chance at wild card and the division, but like I said earlier, we must win our next game against the Steelers. Going 4-2 in the division is the very worst that the Ravens can do if the want to make the playoffs. I understand that to many 9-7 is a stretch, and I won't say I disagree. I'm very disappointed in the performance of many players and coaches, but I still believe in this team. I expect a healthier team after the bye, and for the team to give it their all. I'm hoping right now that the team takes a deep breath, and realizes that this season is far from over. Try to fix some problems and then Beat Pittsburgh, and see where that takes us.
  18. Agreed. But I highly doubt the Browns will go into that game with more than 2 wins, and even that's a stretch. I see 3-13 at best for them, realistically 1-15/2-14.
  19. Considering they're probably getting the 1st pick regardless, why not?
  20. Very true... I think it's possible. If we take down the Cowboys, Bengals, and Dolphins, and we're sitting pretty at (8-4). We'd be at least a game up on the Steelers, and 2.5 ahead of the Bengals. Man, week 16 could be huge.
  21. Okay, that makes sense. Thank you!
  22. I gotta say '08 and '11, but man, '07 would maybe be there just for the fact that we would've beaten the undefeated Pats... too bad we called a timeout on 4th down.
  23. We play: Cowboys, Bengals, Dolphins, Patriots, Eagles, Steelers, Bengals. If we beat the Cowboys: Ravens must go 3-3 to end the season. (L to Pats, Steelers, Bengals once, win division at 9-7) If we lose to the Cowboys: Ravens must go 4-2 to end the season. (L to Pats and either the Steelers or the Bengals 1 time, win division at 9-7) This week is huge. We should be fine if we split with the Bengals, lose to the Steelers, and lose 1 other game, even if that game is this Sunday. (4-2 Division Record) I am a little confused on why the Steelers would want to lose to the Colts? Can someone explain that to me?
  24. Ravens (5-4) Steelers (4-5) Bengals (3-5-1) A win next week would be huge. Let's get it!
  25. 9-7 gets this division for us... Ravens (5-4) to (9-7) win: Dolphins, Bengals x2, Eagles lose: Patriots, Cowboys, Steelers Steelers (4-5) to (9-7) win: Browns x2, Colts, Giants, Ravens lose: Bengals, Bills, Bengals (3-4-1) to (7-8-1) win: Steelers, Browns, Texans, Bills lose: Ravens x2, Giants, Eagles
