You know if you think about it.. This could make a great movie. A team starts out in a hole, lose their leaders, and then some undrafted, backup WRs come in and help lead the team to victory. Yes? No? Maybe? Lol. It could work!

I think we can contend with top tier teams. We're not a team that gets blown out. I mean we kept up with the Bengals, Cardinals, and Broncos, yet we lost to the Browns and 49ers. We are better than our record says. If we were to make the playoffs, we have a chance to actually make a run.

I can't wait for the ESPN playoff seeding simulator to come out after next weeks games.

The question for tonight... Do we want the Bills to knock the jets down or the Jets to knock the Bills down, putting us closer to the 6th seed.

10-6 will get us in. 9-7 should depending on conference record of us compared to other teams. It'd also be really nice if the raiders go 8-8. I don't think we get in at 8-8. I've done projections like a dozen times over the past week with different scenarios. 9-7 is like 50/50 for us getting in

The Steelers will not be making the Playoffs. They will go 9-7 at best, and that wont get them to the playoffs, but it could get us in. We need the Bills, Jets, and Raiders to lose, lose, lose! Luckily, the Bills and Jets play each other twice still. The Bills and Jets both still play the Patriots and Cowboys (with Romo). The Raiders still play the Vikings, Broncos, Packers, and Chiefs twice (maybe they help us out just like last year). It's still possible for us to get in. Each Wild Card contender will lose a few more games. We win 7/8 to go 9-7, I think we get in. Don't count us out yet. We can make history!!

So Big Bens out for a few weeks with a left mid-foot sprain. Raiders Lost. This knocks down the Raiders, and the Steelers are hopefully going to lose an extra game or 2 without Bell and Big Ben... Ravens just have to find ways to win, we still have a chance to make the playoffs, or at least make it a lot closer than people expect.

Well we have to decide on Pitta's status for this year by some time next week. If we IR him, maybe we pick up Welker? Could be a possible move.

So the Steelers beat the Raiders, but the Steelers lost Big Ben for a few more weeks. That couldn't of went better, even though you never want anyone to be injured. The Steelers without Bell and Big Bell, thats going to hurt them a lot.

Update: The article is now able to be commented on. Now this was already an article posted, but it wouldn't let me comment on it. So as the Ravens' playoff hopes are slim, they still have a chance. I know many people have given on up this team, but I haven't. They won't tank for a draft pick, and I strongly believe that. With the slim playoff hopes, we could use all the help we can get, so here's who I think we should root for in Week 9. Raiders @ Steelers : This game is special. A win helps us either way, but unlike the article posted, I believe a Steelers win helps us out more.The Raiders have the head to head over us already, which would allow them to pass us if it came down to us 2 for a Wild Card Spot. We would have to beat the Steelers to get the Head to Head over them in week 16 anyway, so it'd be nice for them to knock down the Raiders for us. Plus, the Steelers have a much harder end to their schedule than the Raiders. Dolphins @ Bills : Root for the Dolphins. The Bills are a Wild Card contender, but I don't believe the Dolphins are. We still play the Dolphins, so we can get head to head over them anyways. Jaguars @ Jets : Root for the Jaguars. Jets are a Wild Card contender, and the Jaguars aren't, so lets hope they can knock the Jets down. Surprisingly enough, the Jaguars are in contention for their division, which brings me to the next game. Broncos at Colts : Root for the Broncos. They're gonna run away with a playoff spot, so lets have them knock the Colts down, just incase they become a Wild Card contender for some reason.

You could very well be right. It's a complicated situation with a lot of speculation. I think the Jets get a Wild Card based on their schedule, which is why I hope the Raiders lose. I just want the Ravens to make it... Lol

We're not gonna tank at all, so let's just hope for the best. All you have to do is make it to the Dance, then who knows..

Steelers are an 8-9 win team I think, and I feel that them beating the Raiders would help us out, because we need the Raiders to lose more than the Steekers.
