I know many of these are doubtful, I'm just throwing a lot of names out there.

I think the new extra point rule this year increased the importance of the kicker position. Tucker made all of his extra points this year (I think), was pretty much automatic inside 50, but struggled outside of 50. He's still a top 3 kicker in the league. We can't afford to let him walk. His abilities would be pretty difficult to replace. We'll get a deal done somehow, whether it's the franchise tag or not. Whether he's top priority, it's hard to say. I love K.O, and Tucker. I just really want to keep both so it doesn't matter who the top priority is! lol

Do you guys think we offer Upshaw any sort of contract? Kind of like a take it or leave it type of deal

What if we trade our 6th pick for say the 10/15 pick plus that teams 2nd rounder? Is that too much to ask? If we could sacrifice a few spots in the first round for a few more 2nd/3rd round picks, it may be worth it!

I think we keep Tucker, I'd be shocked if he wasn't on the team next year. Forsett stays too. I can say that confidently. He's the leadership for our RB core.

Steve at 75% of what he was this year is still a beast. Aiken is nothing shy of average. He's made some impressive plays. Perriman is still a question mark, but i expect him to at least perform at the same level as Kamar Aiken. Any good Free Agent pickup that is a certain #2 or better (Like Golden Tate as an example) would make our WR core dangerous.

Steve Smith + Perriman + Aiken + A Free Agent or draft pick #1 or 2 = Dangerous WR core

We all know he already said he was going to retire at the end of this season, but many think he will change his mind which has me wondering, when do you think we will find out about his decision on retiring? Not 'if' he will retire, but 'when' we will we know of his decision.

At worst, I'd say 9-7, but I expect us to be a 10-6 or 11-5 team as long as we stay healthy. I can't wait for the schedule to get released. Basically 100 days until then. Around 210 days until week 1 kickoff.

Steve Smith is on NFL Today this morning, and the one guy said Steve has an announcement and said "how much longer will you be playing in the NFL?". Steve said "17 more years" laughing. Maybe he's going to make an announcement here soon? Or that was his way of saying something?

The Steelers can't be eliminated this week. They can clinch a playoff spot if they win + the Jets lose. If the Steelers and Jets end with the same record, the Steelers make the playoffs. So basically, we're trying to help out the Jets, who have to win out.
