  1. It helps the Ravens if the Steelers lose. But I hope they deflate Brady.
  2. Why is Camp at the head of the depth chart? Ravens just signed a proven returner in Jeremy Ross.
  3. I don't get all the calls to sign Jonas Gray. Right after running for nearly 200 yards through the gaping void the Colts call their defensive line, Belichick benches him. That should tell you something. Now Belichick cuts him. Like most Ravens fans, I can't stand Belichick, but he is a very good coach and judge of talent. Rosie O'Donnell could run for 200 yards against the Colts.
  4. This is exactly why I hoped he'd make the practice squad. Schaub is here for one year and he will only play if the Ravens are 30 points ahead or 30 points behind. Renner is next year's backup.
  5. Good job,Oz! Love that we kept Renner, Beyer, and D. Brown. Agree that last spot goes to Magee. Duron Carter is a project and we have enough of those at WR already.
  6. Good move for both teams. Easton wouldn't have played here, but he will for SF. Plus we get a draft pick. Win-win.
  7. Bruce_Almty, I couldn't have said it better myself! Ack! Ack!
  8. Can't believe anybody's serious about signing Hakeem Nicks. He did nothing for the Colts and just got cut by another team. We have other positions of greater need -- CB, DT, kick returner. Ozzie will find better players to fill those slots than the ones we just cut. I just hope no one else picks up Renner and Daniel Brown. Need them on practice squad.
  9. Looks like Waller made the team. Has lots more upside than Butler, IMO. Who we really need is Breshad Perriman. If he were playing, no one would be talking about these other guys.
  10. There needs to be a sarcasm emoji on these forums. The only guy who would give us Lockett for Jackson is Daniel Snyder.
  11. Hope nobody else in the NFL saw the Ravens last game.
  12. While kick returner IS a position of need (and Ozzie no doubts regrets letting Jacoby go), people are forgetting that with a team like the Ravens, a returner's FIRST responsibility is to field the ball and not turn it over. Hell, most KO's sail out of the end zone anyway. If we could start safely on our own 20 every kick, I'd be happy. In the same vein, a punt returner's first job is to secure the ball so our offense can take the field. Return yards are gravy. Look at every game's score and then compare number of turnovers. Teams that win the turnover battle also win the game.
  13. I suggest we trade Jackson for Tyler Lockett even-up. Make it happen, Oz!
  14. Renner is a talent. Hope Ravens can at least stash him on the practice squad. KLM has gotten better with every game. He should make the team. Arthur Brown will make team and be given one last chance. Beyer and Daniel go to practice squad (like to see Tom Nelson there too). Cut Asa Jackson. He's a terrible defender and as Harbs noted, as a a returner he's as dangerous to the Ravens as the other team.
  15. Oh, great. The Ravens drafted Matt Elam II.
  16. Well, here's some great news! TRENT RICHARDSON IS AVAILABLE!!!
  17. Anyone who doesn't like this signing must have left their helmet on the bench.
  18. I hope Nelson at least makes the practice squad. He gets open and catches everything thrown to him. If Camp is hurt, Nelson would be good in the slot.
  19. JJ, are you forgetting about Kamar Aiken? With Perriman sidelined, he and SSS are the starting WRs with Camp in the slot.
  20. I'll say it again. If the last WR spot comes down to a choice between Waller or Brown, it's Waller all the way. He's bigger, faster, and has better hands. And he's going to get better. Marlon has regressed.
  21. I don't see why everyone says Marlon Brown is a lock to make the team. he hasn't done anything in preseason. Waller is bigger, faster, and has better hands. If I had to choose between them, Waller wins hands down.
  22. Too bad he can't run into Jacoby Jones. That worked for Trawick.
  23. The Ravens know a lot more about Perriman's injury than they're letting on. Why the secrecy?
  24. Everybody's missing the big picture by focusing on Perriman. What about Marlon Brown? He hasn't been practicing either. And Kamar Aiken missed the first game due to fatigue. Fatigue, really, when you're competing for a spot? Waller must be loving this.
  25. Dennis Pitta has been a great TE, but the torch has been passed. He should retire before he blows out that hip for a third time and suffers the rest of his life.
