  1. If they give Reynolds the job, it'll last for one punt and one fumble. If Camp stays healthy, the job is his and Reynolds might not make the team. He was a late-round pick for a reason, guys. He's a player without a position.
  2. With Webb moving to safety, why do we need Kendrick Lewis? He was terrible last year. I remember him dropping a pick-six thrown right to him.
  3. Best player on the team.
  4. I just don't see WR as our biggest need. Our offense was good this year. Mallett lit it up at the end throwing to Aiken, Butler, and Williams. Perriman, Camp, Gilmore, and SSS will return next year. Lousy D (which did improve the second half of the season) was the reason for the losing record. we couldn't come up with turnovers. Our #1 pick should be a CB, so we can replace Lewis with Webb. Pick #2 should be a pass rusher. Ballhawks and pass rushers are playmakers too, you know.
  5. Webb at FS is a big upgrade over Kendrick Lewis aka The Invisible Man. Which means the Ravens first pick has to be a corner. Pick #2 -- pass rusher. Pick #3 -- OT.
  6. Upshaw might not be a star, but he's a very tough and dependable player who fulfills his role and is always ready to go. If the Ravens can resign him for the right price, they should. That said, the Ravens need to draft an edge rusher in case Suggs can't come back.
  7. Given key losses in all the skill positions (Flacco, Forsett, S. Smith, Perriman, Campanaro), the O has played surprisingly well. It's the D that's the problem. Our CB's play 10 yards off the ball, our FS can't find the ball, and the pass rush has been mediocre. Ravens' biggest need is not a speed receiver. It's CB and safety. Players who are aggressive and cause turnovers.
  8. I agree that most of these guys are marginal players whose loss was no big deal. Out of this list, the losses that really hurt were Suggs, Perriman, Campanaro,S. Smith,Forsett, and Flacco. The others either contributed little or were lost late enough in the season when the team's fate was already sealed. The silver lining is the injuries let us see players we ordinarily wouldn't who have a future on the team -- Aiken, Butler, Z. Smith, West, Allen, Urschel, and Mallett.
  9. Not on good teams. This ain't a good team
  10. Has a team's punter ever been named its MVP? I'd vote for Sam. Who else has had a better year?
  11. You're right about Aiken. All of the teams we're playing now are playing for playoff spots and Aiken is putting up good numbers against good players. Problem with the Ravens is not the O. It's the D. Not a single playmaker out there. When you get thrown against as often as the Ravens do and never get an int, it's because the DB's aren't aggressive and never near the ball.
  12. So disappointed. Hoping for orange.
  13. Who cares? Kyle Arrington won't be on the team next year anyway.
  14. When you're a bad team and you can't afford to keep one player who actually plays very well, that speaks volumes about money management.
  15. I don't expect much from him, but what's the diff? Our starting DB's have been awful.
  16. The only Brown catching balls on this team should be Daniel.
  17. "Ballhawk" Lewis is not going to the Pro Bowl???? Unbelievable! It takes skills to avoid so many long passes!!
  18. Big Ben and his three fast receivers will shred our secondary. Score won't be much closer than last week.
  19. Oh wow, so exciting! Another player who was undrafted! With nothing to lose, I think we should sit Kendrick Lewis (1 good play the whole season),play Brooks and Walker, and put Webb at safety and nickle. And PLEASE give Daniel Brown some more reps! We cut him earlier to keep Marlon Brown and MB disappeared. Meanwhile, in two games back, DB has shown he can get open and make plays.
  20. All the Ravens games have been close. This one won't be. If the Ravens even score, it'll be Tucker doing it.
  21. Will the influx of marquee players never stop?
  22. Defenses usually play better against poor offenses.
  23. Jimmy Clausen is a beast! Super Bowl here we come!
  24. Has Matt Schaub been tested for PEDS?
  25. Gee, isn't this the same Daniel Brown we cut before the season so we could keep Marlon Brown? Wasn't the reason we cut him because he looked great playing third and fourth teamers? Explain.
