Wow how are the Steelers able to keep Ben, Brown and now Bell at top dollar? I thought they are typically up against the cap? So how are they managing their cap space so well and we are struggling?
They aren't, next year will be tough for them. $120mil spoken for and only 26 players under contract. Also Shazier UFA in 2018. They are trying to win now which is understandable because Ben is getting more and more fragile.

This was his senior year.
I still like taking Cook in the 1st. I think Flacco has trouble adjusting to new pieces around him and a true 3 down back will benefit him. Flacco always seemed to be able to predict where Rice would be and vice-versa which made them a great tandem, always swapping Dixon-West (neither of whom are going to set the world on fire) doesn't suit him IMO.
Really hoping we grab Drew Morgan (Arkansas) in 6-7th round or UDFA. Kid plays with more heart than I've seen in a long time and fights for every yard.

The Ravens will likely add a veteran WR in free agency so there just won't be room with Wallace and Perriman being the other 2 main WRs.
Basically outside of Center they just need to hunt for defensive playmakers (can always use those) which makes me wonder where will the top centers in the draft likely be going so this pressing need can be knocked out as early as possible?
I can't get on board with this. I like the idea of a great center (J.C. Tretter in FA would be great) but I think RB is the way to go. West and Dixon are fine but Dalvin Cook could make our offense look incredible. I would be thrilled with him or Corey Davis but I don't think these Centers deserve first round grades.
would the Ravens draft Fournette or Cook if they slide to 16? West and Dixon can do the job if they are given the chance and stay healthy. But a Fournette in the backfield would make running the ball a must.
They should, I still believe this season was about points. Our secondary wasn't great at all points but our D was good enough to win games. Joe is a play-action QB and he has not looked nearly as good since Rice left. We need a true bell-cow, Dixon will be great for spells.
I'd prefer Cook.
Also Jimmy Smith isn't "having another foot surgery"... he's getting screws removed.
Stanley is a solid pick, for those of you that don't agree go dig up footage of him lined up against Joey Bosa and Shaq Lawson. He makes them look like High School players.
He'll need to get better at run blocking but he has the athleticism to do that.
I like Spence or Alexander for Rd 2 and Sterling or Fuller for Rd 3

Call me crazy but I wouldn't be too mad if Hurst played RT next year... he had some decent games at LT when Monroe was out and would benefit from having Yanda next to him.
This feels like another down year but we should have plenty of comp picks and a top half selection next year.
