A.J. Hawk's available now, could be solid depth for us after losing Smith. Probably cheap, too.
I don't know if we still want Jack after the new news on his knee, but I could still see it. Artie Burns seems a bit high to me, but I might just be biased toward some other guys at CB. But I really love the idea of Higgins in the 4th.
Red Star - Su'a Cravens, Alex Mackensie, Karl Joseph (despite the ACL), Ronnie Stanley (got a weird feeling we have him higher than most)
Black Dot - Anyone you could label as a "Cleveland Browns" type

Los Angeles and Philly had 0 chance of taking Jack so it doesn't make sense for them to flag Jack as the earliest they could take him was late first early 2nd at which that point risk outweighs reward.
Jacksonville worked Jack out after this came out which tells me they cleared him and wanted to be absolutely sure after hearing that teams took him of their boards.
San Fran would reportedly think it a dream scenario if Jack fell.
Cleveland was reportedly prepared to take him at 2 if they couldn't trade
NYG reportedly ok'd the knee and have him on their board.
That leaves Tampa, Bal and SD. SD worked Jack out at several positions at his pro day so you have to assume that he is on their board for similar reasons as Jax. It's possible Tampa didn't clear him, but at that point, risk v reward has to favor Jack. That only leaves Baltimore.
That's a pretty damn good analysis of the situation. We can't be sure that the Ravens took [profanity deleted] their board, but it doesn't seem impossible. I know Ozzie wouldn't just ignore the kind of talent Jack has, but with the Ravens injuries over the last two season I wonder if that would have him more worried about taking a guy with questionable health.

I'm just wondering if a team like the 49ers would be desperate enough to give Philly something ridiculous, not that they're really in a position to.
Realistically though I think I see Bradford pouting on the bench for a season.
I do like what I see from Buckner but man if you could snag a franchise left tackle I'm not gonna complain.

now it really that much of an issue TBH.
I wouldn't be worried normally either, but I think most fans are worried about the extra level of secrecy around the injury. It's like they found out Breshad's a space alien when they did the surgery and they don't think we can handle the news.
I think the picks are realistic considering some of the guys who's rising stock has pushed Alexander, Boyd, and Beavers back into those spots. The picks probably get the BPA and fill needs. Get two birds stoned at once, you know.

Unfortunately, Tray didn't make it...

1. He can't pass rush which is what we need out of that rotational OLB
2. Let him get a contract somewhere else to help our comp pick situation
I feel like him signing somewhere else would be ideal, but I was wondering if the FO thought that they could get him back cheap, would they? But so far it looks like they're as over him as the fans are.
Maybe with the money cutting Will Hill adds to the cap the Ravens would feel more comfortable paying Upshaw? I mean it's been a week and they (or anyone else for that matter) haven't signed him.

Elam may also surprise. I'm not getting my hopes up on Elam. I think Webb and Weddle should do a good job back there. Hopefully Webb stays healthy.
Webb's health is a massive concern I think, and Elam I've almost given up on but I understand where you're coming from. Brooks on the other hand I was really excited about when we drafted him, and man I hope this is his year.
Makes sense that Hill was released if he's being suspended, but man does that hurt the team, cause I don't think we have another good safety after Weddle.
I think at #6 going with the BPA is more important than ever for the Ravens, because unless you get a total bust or someone who doesn't fit into the team, you're almost certainly getting a game-changer. Jack could be that guy. (Of course a lot of guys could be that guy, but Jack too)
I guess I could call this the 2016 Optimist's draft!
Looking at it again I would agree that Jones is now likely a mid-high 3rd rounder and Dodd won't make out of the first. For Westerman I have 10-12 OL ahead of him but considering how weak many offensive positions are this year we could have a lot of O-Lineman taken by the 4th.
This is my first mock draft ever and I think if several miracles occur we could get enough guys this draft to be serious contenders again this season or next.
Also I based my player draft positions on a few sites so they may be a bit wonky.
Round 1 (6) - Myles Jack ILB
Round 2 (36) - Kevin Dodd OLB
Round 3 (70) - Tyler Boyd WR
Round 4 - Christian Westerman OG
Round 4 - Cyrus Jones CB
Round 4 - T.J. Green FS
Kind of related to free agency, I was just really surprised to hear that Osemele said this.
Just no coverage from the defense. The secondary minus Will Hill looks like they could get beaten by my old high school team.
Do I get a chance to work out for the team yet?
We've had some serious bad luck and bad play from some of our players, but at least some of the younger guys are showing promise on defense.
From what I saw our front 7 made an effort but the lack of leadership isn't helping them.
Our coverage in the secondary and the defensive plan as a whole looked like it was designed by Wile E. Coyote.
Flacco looked bad technique-wise a lot of the game, but honestly some of our receivers are so unsure that I'm starting to think Joe didn't think they could catch anything that wasn't lofted to them.
The loss of Suggs is gonna seriously hurt.
I don't know how good he is, but Stanley Jean-Baptiste was just cut by the Saints. He's a cornerback, a 2014 2nd Rd. draft pick, figure he might have some talent.
I don't know what to think of Asa Jackson anymore

I think I'd just like him more than Arthur Brown at this point.
