  1. Personally I don't think either of them will make a significant impact in the NFL, but at the same time I don't think it's the FO's pride keeping those two here. They're cheap, they learned the system to some degree at least, and as long as they're not taking up a roster spot that could be used on someone better (which I don't think has really happened at the ILB or SS positions in recent years), they may as well stay. I get that some UDFA will be stars one day, but most of them aren't, and I don't feel all that bad about Brown or Elam being on the team instead.

I got this golden nugget from RSR, and I've linked directly to the Podcast from Waldman, the creator of the RSP (Rookie Scouting Portfolio) talk glowingly about Kenneth Dixon. Start at 1:09 and please listen in. You'll begin to believe that Kenneth Dixon was the steal of the draft not just for the Ravens, but he may prove to be the steal of the entire 2016 draft! From what I heard, Dixon is going to be a stud RB in this league. Comparisons to Frank Gore, Marshall Faulk, etc? Are you kidding me? All fans of the Ravens must listen to this. It is exciting.

Man that is some glowing praise for Dixon. The guy makes it sound like we just left Chicago with Adrian Peterson.

  3. I'm starting to warm up to the idea of Correa and Kaufusi. I didn't like the picks at first either, but we have made those non-big name guys work out for us before and perform on the top level, like Gilmore and Williams, and they ended up looking like steals. If we can do it again I'll be happily eating my shorts on Sundays.

We need pass rushers and we got 2 @early picks that look very promising.  All you can hope is they stay out of trouble, out of injuries, and hopefully learn fast.  We are running out of time.

Running out of time? Yo what do you know that we don't??

You see, they line up behind the QB, sometime beside in a shotgun formation, and sometimes their given the ball to run it or are asked to block

He asked why a RB, not what's a RB.
To answer the question Bandwagon, we're a run first, run last, run always team now.

The fact that Ozzie said that we felt okay with taking Jack @ #36 and we end up trading for only a 5th round pick for a project top 5 talent? Truly mediocre is my way of keeping it rated PG for the sake of the forum. I get it if we wanted to trade back, but for only a 5th round when we're at the top of the 2nd round is just poor draft execution.

It really was a poor trade. If Jack wasn't there I'd say getting the 5th isn't bad, but at least some teams had to have wanted him bad.

  7. I think the problem with the Ravens picks is the players they passed up on and the fact that they could've traded up in the 3rd with those extra picks. Even if Correa and Kaufusi turn out to be good, they'd need to be absolutely amazing to justify what we passed on. Same with the guys in the 4th round. A few solid rotational guys won't make up for losing Spence, Jack, Sheppard, Boyd, Bell, Mackensie, and others (assuming they pan out, which likely at least half will).

  8. Let's change "In Ozzie we trust" to "By Ozzie we're confused". I don't wanna be negative, but it just looks to me like a lot of our recent high picks have been gambles that haven't paid off, and this draft is looking the same way. I'd be happy if Stanley and Correa made me eat my words, but I'll remain concerned until then.
