  1. I think maybe the most important thing about getting Bowser and Williams might be the depth we have now. Between them, Suggs, and Judon we look like we've always got a backup plan at a few positions and we don't have to play anyone in a role we don't feel comfortable putting them in.
  2. Taquan Mizzell can catch the ball pretty well apparently, so that's kind of like drafting a WR?
  3. I was just thinking about that. Some of the guys left would be pretty great value.
  4. Yeah I can't say I'm mad about Eluemunor, people expected him to go a little higher cause he has potential and we needed O-line
  5. From NFL.com of Chuck Clark: "I guess you like him more than me because I think he's JAG (just a guy). He's instinctive but what else? I don't see anything special. To me, he's a backup who will always be looking over his shoulder for his roster spot." -- NFC Director of Player Personnel I don't know who's puppy Clark kicked but they certainly aren't a fan of him.
  6. Some of the receivers left on the board would have been wildly good value at that pick and we took another DB instead. I'm genuinely starting to wonder if the FO knows we have to field an offense at some point.
  7. I bet if we go offense it'll be a RB
  8. As long as we never have to play on offense we'll be the best team in the NFL
  9. Might've been to get in front of the Jets now that I'm looking at it
  10. Yeah it's not an important measure for a DE, but I meant more that guys who tested really well (like Reddick) will jump ahead of Bernett. Most years there's a team that reaches on an athletic guy.
  11. I can dream
  12. I think what I meant to say was that Barnett put up solid numbers but didn't over perform, but some guys that showed surprising athleticism (Ross, Reddick) will have teams reaching like every year, leaving a guy like Barnett to fall slightly.
  13. I tried. 1. Browns - Myles Garrett DE - The Browns try their hardest to not mess this one up. 2. 49'ers - Jamal Adams S 3. Bears - Soloman Thomas DE 4. Jags - Leonard Fournette RB - Apparently me and every guy at nfl.com agree. 5. Titans - Malik Hooker S 6. Jets - Deshaun Watson QB 7. Chargers - Marshon Lattimore CB 8. Panthers - Jonathan Allen DT 9. Bengals - Reuben Foster LB 10. Bills - Mike Williams WR 11. Saints - John Ross WR - He jumps up boards cause of that 40. 12. Browns - Mitch Trubisky QB - Pretty standard picks at #1 and #12 as of late, but they do answer most of the Browns' problems outside of the curse that's on their franchise. 13. Cardinals - Ryan Ramczyk - Some reaches on O-line like always. 14. Eagles - O.J. Howard 15. Colts - Haason Reddick - His impressive workouts push him up, and someone puts too much stock in Derek Barnett's slow 40 times. I know it seems unlikely, but some of the monster workouts and load of great skill position players in the draft let this happen: 16. Ravens - Derek Barnett DE Barnett falls because scouts will see issues with athleticism, but the Ravens will have zero concerns. It's a flashback to 2003, and the team grabs a potential Suggs 2.0. 47. JuJu Smith-Schuster WR His tape shows a strong guy with some speed, and most importantly good hands. I think he's the type of WR we're looking for and can give Joe a reliable pass catcher. 74. Ahkello Witherspoon There are real concerns about his physicality on the field, and that makes him slide, because if it weren't for that I'd actually have Witherspoon in the mid-2nd. If that doesn't become an issue though, we get a very good defensive back with some serious length, speed, and room to grow. 78. Will Holden RT This might seem like a reach, but the guy was a 3.5 year starter at left tackle, and his athleticism issues wouldn't be as glaring at RT. We've done alright developing linemen we've drafted recently, and I think we can make him a starter on the OL.
  14. Jabrill Peppers Chidobe Awuzie T.J. Watt JuJu Smith-Schuster Jordan Willis Cooper Kupp Charles Harris In no particular order
  15. Does anyone think we could go for Jordan Willis? He'd have to convert from DE to OLB for us, but watching some tape of his he looks like he has good hands and a great motor. Converting might be pain but he has the right size, and the only question mark I had about him was whether he could cover any.
