  1. I find it interesting how nobody is talking about Wagner and right tackle. Wagner had a great year 2 years ago, then struggled and was injured last year. Fans and media seem to be assuming he will be the starting right tackle, but what if Monroe and Stanley prove to be the best 2 tackles on the team? Maybe Stanley starts at RT for a year. Maybe Wagner or someone else plays best at LG. Everything is a competition and the NFL is all about what have you done for me lately. As Harbaugh said, they will start the best 5 linemen, whoever that may be.
  2. I agree that Warren's comments were uncalled for an unacceptable. However, I think Jernigan should keep the number to spite him. If he changes it now, it will just boost Warren's already inflated ego.
  3. My guess is we keep 5 TEs (especially with Waller having the flexibility to play WR if needed) I see our roster looking this way 2 Qbs-Flacco and Mallett, 3 RB-Forsett, Allen, Dixon, 1 FB-Juice, 5 TE-Watson, Gillmore, Williams, Pitta, Waller-Then make decision when Boyle comes back, 6 WR-SSS, Aiken, Wallace, Moore, Perriman, Reynolds, 8 O-linemen-Monroe (or other young guy if he is cut), Stanley, Zuttah, Yanda, Wagner, Lewis, Urshel, Jensen, 8 D-Linemen-Williams, Jernigan, Guy, Urban, Kaufusi, Davis, Henry, then Judon or Ochi 7 LB-Mosley, Dumerville, Suggs, ZSmith, Orr, Mcellan, Correa 5 Corners-JSmith, Wright, Powers, Young, Davis or Arrington, 4 safeties-Weddle, Webb, then 2 of Lewis/Brooks/Elam K-Tucker P-Koch LS-Cox That accounts for 52 with 1 more guy from any number of postions such as: Extra RB if Richardson/West/Taliaferro prove worthy, extra WR, keeping Judon and Ochi, or some other player that surprises and earns his way on the roster.
  4. I agree with the 45. Here are my additions: Pitta, Reynolds, Monroe (or if he is cut/traded, I think we will have 1 other lineman), Brooks, Will Davis....then 3 other players out of these options: Waller, Campanero, Judon, Ochi, Taliaferro, Trent Richardson, Terrance West
  5. H actually had us carrying 10 guys (in addition to the 8 you listed, he had Hurst at LT and Broxton at RG for reserves) I find it hard to believe we would carry 10 offensive linemen, probably either 8 or 9 depending on other positions and who we want to keep.
  6. I never liked Ray Lewis as a commentator/analyst anyway. I loved watching him on the field, but did not care for him as a commentator/analyst. I think ESPN made a wise decision (although I am not sure about Randy Moss as a commentator/analyst).
  7. My top 3 hopes for our second round pick 1) Myles Jack 2) Mackensie Alexander 3) Noah Spence
  8. Solid, safe pic...not a sexy flashy pick, but a smart one. Smart teams build in the trenches. Now that they went with a safe pick in Round 1, maybe it's worth taking a riskier pick in round 2 with potential; perhaps Myles Jack or Noah Spence if they are still there when the Ravens pick
  9. A bit off topic, but I was so happy this morning to see that cheater Tom Brady's suspension was re-instated: http://espn.go.com/nfl/story/_/id/15353950/tom-brady-new-england-patriots-four-game-suspension-deflategate-reinstated-appeals-court I am glad the Ravens will be playing the Patriots with Brady back...I want to beat down the cheaters in their house with Brady...that way they won't have any excuses. (although I am sure they will come up with some)
  10. My top choices for the Ravens are: #1: Tunsil (who I think will definitely be gone) #2 Ramsey (who I also think will definitely be gone) #3 Buckner (not the biggest need, but I think he is an amazing player and we know Ozzie's mantra of best player avaialbale) #4 Jack (I would have him higher if not for the injury question) #5 Bosa (Still not sold on him at the next level, especially with the transition from 4-3 Defensive end to 3-4 Outside linebacker)...hoping one of the top 4 is available when we pick
  11. 3 "dream" scenarios 1) 2 qbs taken ahead of us plus Dallas is crazy enough to take Elliot. Means 3 of the 5 "elite" players are available (Tunsil, Ramsey, Jack, Bosa, Buckner) 2) Goff goes #1, Cleveland does not go QB, Wentz is still avaialble when we are on the clock and the Eagles offer us a "king's ransom" to jump the 49ers 3) Same as #2, but instead of trading with Eagles, we convince 49ers to give us an additional pick or 2 to ensure they get Wentz, then we still get the player we want with #7
  12. Looks like there's a good chance 2 qbs go in first 5 picks...almost guaranteed at least 1 will with Rams trading for first overall pick...increases the odds Ravens get defensive playmaker they want (or Tunsil) http://espn.go.com/nfl/story/_/id/15201946/tennessee-titans-trade-no-1-pick-los-angeles-rams
  13. Regarding the replay, I think the NFL should do what Tennis does for their challenges. If the original call was wrong, that doesn't count against your challenges. A team should not be punished for an official's incorrect call.
  14. Alright Ravens. Our back are officially against the wall. Now it's time to show what "Play Like a Raven" really means. Ravens thrive on adversity, so let's get it done!
  15. Hmmm...possible October return for Perriman...Game at Steelers is Thursday, October 1. How awesome would it be if he made his debut then and torched the Steelers weak defense!
  16. Sounds like last year, just a different position. There was a lot of chatter about the Ravens having to start "journeyman" Justin Forsett at running back...Now the same with "journeyman" Kamar Aiken at receiver. Let's all hope it all works out like it did last year! GO RAVENS!
  17. I still don't see how Belicheat isn't punished for Deflate-gate. Even if you buy that he didn't know about it (which I don't), Sean Payton was punished because he "should have known about it" How come there is a different standard for Belicheat, especially with his history of cheating (Spygate)
  18. Can we please focus the articles on CURRENT players? I know Ray Lewis did a lot of great things for this franchise, but we don't need a DAILY Ray Lewis update...an article every now and then when Ray does something great for the community or team is fine, but not pointless tidbits about him about stuff such as fake wrestling!
  19. Definitely going to be some tough decisions...I see the Ravens keeping 6-7 receivers depending how the returner positions play out. Smith, Sr, Perriman, Aiken, and Marlon Brown are locks to be on the roster. Waller is very likely as he is a draft pick. That leaves 1-2 spots for everybody else (of course barring injury)--everyone else being Campanaro, Butler, Carter, and the very long shots of Daniel Brown, Aldrick Robinson, and Cam Worthy. Definitely some very intense competition. May the best men win and have the honor of being Ravens! GO RAVENS!!!
  20. Welcome to the side of the rivalry that does it the right way and doesn't have to cheat to win!
  21. Who cares about these "Top 100" lists?! All that matter is: Who is the best team? And that is decided on the field. Very excited for this season! GO RAVENS!!!
  22. http://espn.go.com/boston/nfl/story/_/id/12864657/new-england-patriots-release-kyle-arrington Here is the link stating that Kyle Arrington was released. I agree with J.O.14 that this could be a great opportunity for the Ravens to add veteran CB depth.
