  1. Very unrealistic in my opinion, but how sweet would it be if Feeney was available at our 2nd round pick as happened here. 4. Here's my latests one....would be stoked with the first 3 picks...don't think it's very realistic though. 6. I just don't see them bringing back Aiken (not arguing whether they should or shouldn't) Aiken seemed pretty unhappy with his role last year and I don't see that significantly changing this year. Bottom line is that it appears the Ravens have decided he is a worse option than at least Wallace and Perriman, plus they have already publicly said they want to bring in a "complimentary WR" I just don't thing the Ravens see Aiken in their plans moving forward and I would be SHOCKED if Aiken agreed to come back.
  7. Yeah, going into it, I never would have guessed I wouldn't take a corner until comp 3rd rounder, but Williams, Baker, and Elflein were too good to pass up at the times of the first 3 picks. I still don't think Williams will make it to us at 16, but if he somehow does, it would be awfully hard to pass up.
  8. 9. Almost agree with you. I do think we keep 4 TEs, but I think it will be 4 of these 5: Pitta/Boyle/Waller/Gillmore/Williams. In my opinion, keeping Pitta AND Watson is too much money for the TE position...I know all of the other guys have questions marks, but they are cheap because they are on their rookie contract. Not sure which of those 5 I would cut....I would bring all 5 of those guys through camp and let them compete (or injury knocks one out)
  10. I agree that no QB in this draft class stands out. The only varying strategy I might have if I was the Browns is going after Garropolo if they think he can be their QB (I have not done any analysis on him to see if he looks like a starting QB). If you think he can be the guy, you try to work out a trade--I would try to do it without giving up the 12th pick, but if that is what it took and I thought he could be the QB, then I'd go for it. If you don't think Garropolo is the guy, then get solid playmakers and worry about QB next year and maybe take a flyer on a potential QB in the middle rounds.
  11. I agree. I too feel that Cruz is done. I think a pairing of Mashall/Garcon, Wallace, and BP as a top 3 would be a solid WR core. I would not feel great about Wallace/BP/Cruz. To me, this would represent a last resort if we couldn't get a better WR in free agency and were able to pick up Cruz at vet minimum...but that would be putting a lot of pressure on Cruz and BP to step up and be major contributors...both of which I have questions about. (hoping BP can step up, but have 0 confidence in Cruz to give anything more than he did this year)
  12. Alabama LB Reuben Foster will miss combine and 4 months due to rotator cuff surgery. I wonder if this will affect his draft position. http://www.espn.com/nfl/draft2017/story/_/id/18676946/reuben-foster-former-alabama-crimson-tide-lb-miss-nfl-scouting-combine-drills-shoulder-surgery
  13. Too late for that....the coulda shoulda woulda game does no good. The question is which of these 2 would you rather have.
  14. D'Qwell Jackson has been released by the Colts. Mike Wells ESPN Staff Writer The Colts have released middle D'Qwell Jackson. Jackson, who led the Colts in tackles each of his three seasons, was suspended for the final four games of the season for using performance enhancing drugs. That's the first major move by Colts new general manager Chris Ballard
  15. Yes, my bad..I meant I am hesitant to move up. I will edit the original post as well.
  16. I do really like all 3 of these guys, but I am very hesitant to trade up in the draft with our success with middle round draft picks...look at who we got in the 4th and 5th rounds last year! I have a feeling we will be able to get an impact player at 16..whether it is one of these 3 (Fournette, WIlliams, Davis) or a top-tier corner like Wilson, Jones, or Lattimore, etc.
  17. In Vermont here...I feel for you...it sucks being surrounded by a bunch of Cheater fans! And I'm sure it's far worse in Mass than here in Vermont--a lot of people don't care about sports at all up here.
  18. Pat McManamon ESPN Staff Writer The Browns will soon announce that they have hired David Lee as quarterback coach. Lee was the Bills' QB coach the last two seasons. This move will do little to diminish talk about the very real chance that the Browns will try to sign Tyrod Taylor if the Bills release him. Looks like we might see Tyrod again next year. We will see.
  19. I don't think anyone will give him a starting job, but I think he might have opportunities to where he would be much more likely to earn it than in Baltimore. For example, what about the Texans? They showed they were willing to bench Osweiler...maybe he goes there as a backup (they couldn't afford to pay him much more with Brock's contract), but it is much more likely he'd get a shot at playing when and if Osweiler struggles again. With that defense, he wouldn't have to be great to make the team competitive.
  20. I may be in the minority here, but I want no part of Ray Lewis as a coach for the Ravens at this time. I think he has too much of a "look at me" personality and would be a distraction. Plus, I have no clue whether he can coach or not. He is too big of a legend for him to come here as a coach and potentially fail. I can't imagine the backlash that would happen if he came here and failed as a coach and he had to be fired. Granted, I am all for him pursuing a coaching job if that is what he wants, but I feel that would be best in a different location for both him and the Ravens (at least until he can prove he's an effective coach)
  21. I agree I think Torrey and Wallace will probably be a similar price. To me, there is more upside with Torrey because of age. I fear that we are going to continue to see a dropoff in play with Wallace. I would LOVE to see Torrey and Garcon or Torrey and Marshall.
  22. Didn't follow much college football, but Clemson LB Ben Boulware seems to me to be the late round/UDFA gem the Ravens love. Seems to have an amazing football IQ and seems to just make plays, despite not being the most athletic.
  23. I have said all along that this is my dream scenario..top tier corner in Round 1 and Desmond King in Round 2 (which it seems his stock is dropping just a bit...I think he would be a steal in the 2nd round)
  24. Very unrealistic, but man this would be sweet! VIEW EACH TEAM'S DRAFT 16: R1P16 CB MARSHON LATTIMORE OHIO STATE 47: R2P15 G DAN FEENEY INDIANA 78: R3P14 EDGE RYAN ANDERSON ALABAMA 102: R3P38 S EDDIE JACKSON ALABAMA 121: R4P16 C ETHAN POCIC LSU 160: R5P15 EDGE KEIONTA DAVIS CHATTANOOGA 199: R6P14 RB ELIJAH HOOD NORTH CAROLINA 237: R7P16 EDGE KEION ADAMS WESTERN MICHIGAN
  25. I would actually take Torrey. I just have a feeling that Wallace is going to continue to trend downward...he had an awesome start of the season and a meh finish to the season. I think Torrey could bring similar skills, has more upside due to his age, and could probably come at same or lower cap hit. Pair him with a proven possession receiver like Garcon (or someone similar) and then have Perriman as a 3rd receiver who has a chance to earn a bigger role. I think that would be a respectable WR core...not great, but respectable.
