  1. SMITH!!! Nice play!
  2. Nice play by Pitta to fall/get tackled forward
  3. Nice start to Aiken
  4. Amen. Just win baby. No style points needed to make me happy! I'll take another "ugly" win any day!
  5. My point is that I believe our defense will keep us in every game. Our offense just has to be a touch better than it has been o be just enough to beat too teams
  6. Really?!! Our defense is what's holding us back? I guess the other 30 teams that have a worse-ranked defensethan us are really in trouble!
  7. Pats DT Branch wins appeal of 4 game marijuana suspension. I think that's the fisrt time I've ever heard of a player having a marijuana suspension overturned. Wonder what the story is there or if the Cheatriots paid someone off to get that verdict? http://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/18193893/alan-branch-new-england-patriots-wins-appeal-serve-4-game-suspension
  8. Take notes Ray Lewis. Just because you aren't on the team doesn't mean the Ravens don't have leadership!
  9. I just don't see us winning by double digits because 1) We haven't beaten ANYBODY other than the Browns by double digits 2) the Dolphins are a pretty darn good team, and 3) I don't think our offense is going to all of a sudden explode with 3+ touchdowns. I think this will definitely. E a 1 score game (either way) and I think we will definitely need Tucker in this one. Hoping for a W, so I'll say 2 TDs and3 fgs for a 23-20 W. Huge game. If we drop this one, we have to either win out or hope Steelers drop one and we drop no more than one (and beat Steelers)
  10. Just to add to this. We still control our destiny if we lose 1 game, as long as that game is not to the Steelers (assuming no ties)
  11. I really like that idea. Some of those TNF games are pretty sloppy on short rest. This would be a great way to combat that and still get the extra primetime slot. Also, having 2 byes could balance out the teams that are forced to have an early bye due to London games. If people are worried about "extending" the season by adding an extra bye week, my suggeation would be to eliminate the extra week between the conference championship games and the super bowl.
  12. Yeah, especially because that would put 3 consecutive Ravens games in primetime (wk 14-mon night at pats, week 15 vs eagles, and wk 16 on christmas at pitt). I bet they flex detroit-new york giants into that slot as well
  13. Let's beat the mammals, since we aren't playing fish this week! http://oceanservice.noaa.gov/facts/dolphins.html
  14. I'll take Tucker in bad conditions over any other kicker in the league!
  15. That's a realy good point!
  16. Agreed. I know the injuries have been frustrating, but there is almost no risk in keeping him. He is on a cheap rookie contract and is productive when healthy.
  17. In some ways, you could argue this one is bigger than the Pats game. If we lose this, any hope of WildCard basically goes out the window because Miami would have tiebreak. Obviously, winning the division is the preferred path, but wildcard is still a possibility if we win this one.
  18. Sorry for yet another post, but Schefter is now saying 2 months as a timetable for Gronk.
  19. http://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/18180537/new-england-patriots-te-rob-gronkowski-back-surgery ESPN saying it is a herniated disk and there is no timetable for his return.
  20. Patriots Rob Gronkowski having surgery on back tomorrow according to Zrebiec's twitter/ProFootballFocus:
  21. Unfortunately, they currently can't flex Monday night games, just Sunday night games...I wouldn't be surprised if that is something that is discussed for future years. http://www.nfl.com/flexible-schedules " NFL Flexible Scheduling 101 Begins Sunday of Week 5 In effect during Weeks 5-17 Up to 2 games may be flexed into Sunday Night between Weeks 5-10 Only Sunday afternoon games are subject to being moved into the Sunday night window. The game that has been tentatively scheduled for Sunday night during flex weeks will be listed at 8:15 p.m. ET. The majority of games on Sundays will be listed at 1:00 p.m. ET during flex weeks except for games played in Pacific or Mountain Time zones which will be listed at 4:05 or 4:15 p.m. ET. No impact on Thursday, Saturday or Monday night games. The NFL will decide (after consultation with CBS, FOX, NBC) and announce as early as possible the game being played at 8:15 p.m. ET. The announcement will come no later than 12 days prior to the game. The NFL may also announce games moving to 4:05 p.m. ET and 4:25 p.m. ET. Week 17 start time changes could be decided on 6 days notice to ensure a game with playoff implications. The NBC Sunday night time slot in "flex" weeks will list the game that has been tentatively scheduled for Sunday night. Fans and ticket holders must be aware that NFL games in flex weeks are subject to change 12 days in advance (6 days in Week 17) and should plan accordingly. NFL schedules all games. Teams will be informed as soon as they are no longer under consideration or eligible for a move to Sunday night.
  22. Jimmy practicing again today Buck Allen, Lewis, Gillmore, Taliaferro not practicing. Anybody know what Allen's injury is? (Suggs and Zuttah vet day off)
  23. I hope you are right. I would love to see it!
