UPDATED: MESSAGE BOARDS CLOSING AFTER DRAFT   03/08/2017

After careful consideration, we have decided that we will sunset our message boards after this year's NFL Draft. Since we opened our boards a decade ago, the digital landscape has greatly evolved. While we understand there remains a smaller group of highly-engaged fans who participate in conversation in our forums, a significant amount of the dialogue about our team and our games has migrated away to other social media platforms over the past several years. Our message boards will remain up and running through Friday, May 5th, and will be removed on May 6th. We recognize that this change may upset avid members of our community. However, we look to utilize our time and resources to focus on how we can best connect with our fans across an array of digital/social outlets. If you are not already engaging us and other members of the Ravens Flock on our Facebook page, Instagram account, through Twitter or Snapchat, we invite you to follow us on those channels and continue to participate in our social communities. In addition, the commenting feature on our website articles will remain intact. Members will be able to continue using their boards account to log in and share their thoughts at the bottom of every news story. We’d like to thank all the Flock members and our moderators who have brought thoughtful conversation to this space and made our community great for the last 10 years. Ravens Social Media Hub »

  4. I can't see us passing on Reuben Foster if he is available at 16. Mosley/Foster combination would be awesome!
  5. If we are lucky and all these guys are available 1: Foster/Mike Williams/Barnett 2: CB-Conley/White 3: Desmond King A little more realistic: 1: Jones 2: Reddick 3: Desmond King
  6. I actually am not afraid of this. I think AP is done and he will be nothing more than an average back.
  7. I agree. Zuttah is not my favorite player, but he is way underestimated on this board. He is at least an average center, which is very valuable. I can't see us cutting him unless we pick up a free agent that we think is better or at least equal and cheaper (maybe the team thinks Mangold is an upgrade, maybe not--depends on their evaluations on his injury status and decline, etc.) Even if we draft a C fairly high in the draft, it is extremely dangerous to trust a rookie C from day 1.
  8. I am really really hoping the Ravens can snag King. Note: I am a huge Hawkeyes fan, so I am admittedly biased. I know a lot of the debate with King is whether he should be a CB or a S. I think he could realistically be both, which makes him that much more valuable. I realize he is not the fastest guy, so will probably not be a "shut-down" corner, but I think he would be a very solid corner and/or a great ball-hawking safety with great coverage skills. My dream draft would be to get a top tier CB in the first (Jones, Wilson, Lattimore, etc.) and pair them with Jimmy in the slot. Then, snag King in the 2nd (or 3rd if teams are crazy enough to let him slide that far)--Keep Webb for a year, then King is our 4th corner and 3rd safety, which puts us in really good shape if any of the starters get injured and allows the team to evaluate him for future to see if they want him as a future CB or S.
  9. I pretty much totally agree with you. IMO, Arrington, and Wright are the most obvious cuts. I also agree with cutting both Pitta and Watson--let the 4 young guys battle it out. Dumervil--I agree it's time to move on--I would probably try to see if anyone would give us a late round pick in a trade--but if not, I agree with cutting him. Lewis--Agree--he might stay until we see if we can find better depth since we have none. Webb--Agree-gotta hold on to him until you know you have a replacement (via FA or draftt) Zuttah--pretty much echo what I said about Webb--not overly excited with him--but IMO you need an equal or better option before cutting him. Wallace--Definitely think he should stay--Maybe we consider cutting him if we land a big name like Marshall or something--but if cap allows, I'd still keep him. i would love to go into the season with top 3 WRs of Marshall/Garcon/Jeffrey/Britt,etc./Wallace/Perriman
  10. I know that is not realistic. I just don't value ANY RB at 16. So what I meant was the only way I would select him (if I was GM) would be if he was miraculously available later.--I know this is probably more my personal preference than reality
  11. I agree, especially about Pitta. I think with Pitta, it is definitely pay cut or he's gone. We have plenty of other options at TE (even though they all have question marks) Webb is a little trickier because we don't currently have an option behind him, so we'd have to be pretty confident we can replace him with as good or better option for the same money or less (either in FA or draft)--And I really don't want us to go into the draft where we HAVE to find a safety to replace him.
  12. OK---Here is my first EVER attempt at a Ravens big board. I did a top 50. First, I will preface by saying that I don’t follow college football closely, so I have not reviewed tapes of prospects, etc.. Most of the info I have on these guys is from media and posters on this board. Feel free to critique any aspect of this because I enjoy seeing everyone’s opinions. Second—As you can tell, my big board is based largely off of perceived needs and my preferences…For example, I do not value RB in first round unless the value is too incredible to pass up. Third-I took Dalvin Cook off the board because of his off-field issues…too many red flags in my personal opinion. I dropped Tim Williams significantly due to off-field questions as well. Also note—As mentioned before, I do not follow college football closely so there may be other off-field concerns that I am unaware of. Select if available at 16 1. Myles Garrett EDGE TX A&M 2.
