  1. Yeah, I think if this is what we settle this then its very likely we go draft a WR very highly, especially if we take Claiborne.
  2. I really would still like to know what the team intends to do at WR. I wish there was something out there that would link us to someone.
  3. I think the Ravens really did want someone but there was no one in their price range. I don't think they want Wallace at that cap # but they didn't have much of a choice. The team looks like they're putting all their eggs in the Perriman, his development might determine how our season goes down.
  4. In addition others on the DL outside of Williams played really poorly. Jernigan in particular did not look like himself, I think he went through two straight game without recording a single stat and Lawrence Guy in addition played just as bad. Others who were there did not really do a good job themselves either.
  5. Just hope we get a receiver. It would really not be a good look if we kept on with this unit as is.
  6. I would love to have Decker here. As far as the price goes, I don't think it will be a back breaker, as long as he can stay healthy I like the prospect of it.
  7. This is why players deserve every right to leave when FA arrives. Butler made a Super-Bowl winning play, and then turned into a Pro Bowl CB after that for them. The fact that they are considering giving him up shows that NFL and FA is a business.
  8. The FA pool of WRs is very weak right now. I wonder just what exactly the team has in mind because they could potentially miss out on a top talent WR come draft. Pyror or Alshon, both are looking for 10M+. Not going to be Ravens. No chance.
  9. Yeah that's partly what I advocated for moving on from him. Still think he's going to be a good player for us next season but I don't think he's going to cross 1K yards.
  10. Still hoping for a WR and C.
  11. I still believe he can beat most linebackers, but lately we've seen guys who are both athletic and quick are taking over the draft. I know that to some this may not be a great example but I believe he's going to be a really good player, Myles Jack is one of those guys who is even seen to be covering slot WRs, he's a guy I would define as quick and fast. Speed does matter, there were times when Steve Smith Sr., and Pitta got 1v1 against Linebackers and couldn't seperate. You have to be quick but you also need to speed to get distance from the LB. I don't want to nitpick, I like the signing but there's questions about how good he'll be here IMO. I'll see how this unfolds. Hope it works out really well.
  12. I didn't think of Woodhead as an option here, still coming back from a torn ACL at 32, you would wonder how much speed he has left, surely he can beat linebackers but what about those new athletic linebackers that are entering the NFL these days?
  13. Think this team is tired of bad contracts. They were really close to the playoffs, Biscotti said he can handle missing playoffs to a certain degree but I don't think he expects a rebuild. He wants his team to be competitive and I think Tony Jefferson signing shows that.
  14. Yeah, good signing, I don't think we were in on Zeitler to begin with. I think we got one more quality sign and a vet cut.
  15. Great signing, was a little against it but I hopped on the bandwagon, I think we're going to be a tough team against big plays. If Jimmy can stay healthy this can be a complete game changer, I can honestly say that our secondary can be up there with Denver and Seattle. The pass rush is the missing element, get that along with a CB and this defense will be ferocious. Let's hope we get someone on the offensive end. Hope for someone really good at WR.
  16. Got my fingers crossed for Kenny Britt. I'll be a very happy Ravens fan if we pulled off Jefferson and Britt.
  17. trolololololol
  18. Hell Yeah!
  19. Tony Jefferson-Weddle-Jimmy and a quality CB would be a game-changer for this secondary. Just concerned with what they have in mind at pass rush.
  20. Look its unfortunate that he's gone but a huge loss? Nah.
  21. I don't think Zeitler is happening. As much as I would love it the Ravens seem to really like Alex Lewis a lot. They've talked so highly about him being a potential pro bowl guard and even compared him to K.O(I don't see it). I think we're more likely to pay up for a Kenny Britt and Tony Jefferson.
  22. Losing Juice is awful. That guy was an all round FB and we're going to miss him. He should have been utilized more as a runner on some plays. Think he's going to do very well in SF.
  23. Can we do worse? Imagine telling Zuttah to be a power center and have to take an opposing NT to school. In ZBS that fits Zuttah, he just has to block a zone, maintain the block, and block onto the 2nd level. Something I actually think Zuttah is solid in, however when asked to handle 1v1 blocking assignments, push back NTs/DTs then he struggles. I think the adjustment to the cut-block rules also affected him plenty because that's an area that doesn't really rely strongly on strength. If the Ravens desire to add more power/gap is a concern because Centers have the toughest job there, he's going to be asked to hold back-side A gap and back-side B gap. I think we can do worse, but we might even do better if we bring an average C who can play with the type of strength that Zuttah doesn't bring to the table.
  24. I have to agree but I really am concerned about Zuttah. If the Ravens are serious about shifting to a physical and power based run game, then I don't see how you can take them seriously with Zuttah still as the starting C. Just don't think Zuttah fits that mold. I think they might gun hard after Mangold.
  25. I'm fine with the Torrey move. Just don't think he should be #1(Obviously), I really think they have someone in mind there, I just wonder who. It's entirely possible we draft someone high this time.
