  1. It's extend or cut with Ngata, we'll be dealing with Rice's cap hit this year at $9.5M which is just gosh awful... Torrey is really our big FA as I don't see us keeping McPhee, so he's someone that F.O will be working with the most which is great in some aspects, Owen Daniels is a guy I'd love to keep as well but I'd keep eyes open on the open market and determine the value.
  2. I like Will as well and I don't think we'll lose him in the off-season. I'd like to see Torrey back but I'm not too optimistic, we lack cap and I'd love to see F.O have enough for K.O or Wagner(If he returns to form).
  3. I like Branch but his durability issues are a serious concern, I think a 1YR Deal would be the most likely possibility but even at that, you'd have to be cautious if he does play at a high level and hope he'd stay healthy. Also, that would add more mystery to what we'd do with Elam, Branch is a SS, not sure if he could be moved to FS, then again, he's a smart veteran player.
  4. I don't see it. Brown is just undersized. 3-4 OLB requires power.
  5. I think it depends on his competition. This CB class isn't all that great and if some of those guys don't hit the market, there's a chance Cox can become the top guy.
  6. I like Perrish as well, I'm just thinking that maybe he wants to get paid and become a starter, I don't know how realistic he is for us.
  7. Yeah, just found out, you're right if anyone, they're still uncommitted to Wallace, IMO if anyone could be cut, it might very well be Hartline who fell out of the playbook.
  8. I just don't see Webb getting cut at all. He hasn't lived up to his contract, but at the moment we're very thin at CB, the savings are totally low and a post June-1st cut is pretty much useless unless you're trying to free more roster spots, wouldn't make sense in Webb's case due to the fact that he's the unsung starting #2 CB and it ain't even close. I don't see it happening.
  9. I think we could get a trade, but it just seems unlikely.
  10. That's kind of what I thought. I wouldn't mind Cary, just not as a #2, he's best as a nickle.
  11. I'm not sure if Wallace will ask for a high price, his past two years in Miami have been pure disappointments and who on earth is really going to bid high on Wallace after his past three years? I think he'll be at reasonable asking price given by the open market, but his contract is a problem. I'd def. think Wallace would be a great fit if Torrey leaves in F.A. and would become a definite possibility. I didn't go digging into all the #s but no wonder why Miami wants to release him, his cap hit was $17M with $27M in dead money, in 2015 it will be a cap hit of $12M and $6M in dead money, so cutting him is a no-brainer for them. I don't know if we'll do it, just seems like an extreme risk-Medium reward, so I don't see it happening.
  12. Sterling Moore is an option. The Cowboys are cap strapped and can't resign anyone. I think he'd be a good addition. Another guy I like is Mike Wallace. He's had to deal with a seriously awful O-Line, inconsistent QB play and bland coaching. I feel like Miami may cut the bait with Wallace soon and I wouldn't mind if we get him, he'd be a star with us, I don't know the cap #'s, but it would be a great fit.
  13. Me too. Revis is too expensive. McCourty is a FS, what we need.
  14. F.O should try to work out a new deal with Ngata at all risks. Our defense/pass rush was rejuvenated with Ngata back into the lineup. He may not get 10+ sacks but his ability to collapse the pocket is what helps Doom and Suggs get those sacks, especially the double teams that he demands. Ngata is a player you'd want to keep, McPhee can be a loss but I don't think that it would be that good to lose both. McPhee is one of the best pass rushers in the league despite what the #'s say and he's a very good run stopper.
  15. I agree, he's a play maker.
  16. I like Portland but they lost Aldridge and already they're playing without Lopez, that can hurt them.
  17. I agree, a lot of people give Moore flack for what happened in the divisional, I bet if the same play happened again, Moore would make the right one, people learn from stuff like that. I'd love to have Moore and pair him with Hill, secondary would vastly improve.
  18. Rahim Moore FS, George Johnson DE, Shareece Wright CB, Tarell Brown CB.... are guy I think F.O could target.
  19. I'd love to have Rahim Moore. We have a serious hole at free safety and Moore is a rising guy. It would also be ideal to move Will Hill back to Strong Safety where he naturally belongs in. That would gives us a solid safety group, along with a CB group with Jimmy back and Webb full health, and a pass rush, our defense could be back. I also think it's ideal to grab one more CB.
  20. It's good to hear they're keeping the ZBS. Man, if Eugene can bounce back our O-Line can seriously be great. All in all, great fit.
  21. If Front office decides to find a FS, I don't see where Elam would end up. He's shown flashes but he's just hasn't been there. Wish him the best of luck
  22. The concern is the screen game and regression. We're not a screen team necessarily and Trestman's offense is known to fall apart the next season. We need a big bodied WR still, so I'm very confident that F.O is going in that direction R1.
  23. Look at Trestman's resume. It's no fluke, he's taken average QB's and made them great. Josh McCrown, Jake Plummer, Scott Mitchell Rich Gannon. He's a great offensive mind.
  24. They're the Bears. That's funny IMO.
  25. True, true.
