  1. I think that Steve Bisciotti is the best owner in the NFL. I'm really glad to see webb back. It"s been proven over the last couple of years that we need good backups and he can be a backup for 2 different positions safety and CB. That makes him a valuable asset.
  2. I have always love Eric's sense of humor. I really enjoy listening to him. He always makes me laugh. I think the Ravens will be in very good hands when Ozzie leaves. He may be even better than Ozzie.
  3. I was fifteen when I first posted here and knew little about football except that I liked the ravens style of football. Now I know a lot more about football and may have to leave it behind for a while. I don't even think about any other team and I will be so far away living with my aunt that I doubt i will be able to keep in touch. She doesn't have internet. I just wanted you to know what happened to me in case anybody wonders. Goodbye Budman and whoever else I have talked to on my PM. With all my heart goodbye until I know more: Robin
  4. Home for Christmas.. Thanks to everyone who had such nice things to say. Happy holidays and have a great new year. Go Ravens Beat them Steelers. I am going to try to watch all the videos on this site. I want to catch up on what I have missed.
  5. Thank you moderator 3. I remember getting a heads up warning from moderator 2. I guess you read it too. He beat you to the punch. Hope I can post again soon. Robin
  6. I really appreciate your comment MT. I will be back but not sure when.
  7. 16-0 until proven otherwise. we may go to the Superbowl Mr. Bruce.
  8. I'm glad you've warned me. I am going to university in the fall and who knows what my new friends may be into.
  9. Wow, that's mean but could be true. He hasn't played much and was nearly always injured after that big contract. Do we still owe him money?
  10. I see how guys can be they don't want to be sissies so they do things to look brave or something. I hope Joe just does what needs to be done and doesn't over do it. We need him to be ready without any setbacks.
  11. I was really hoping that what his agent said was just to get the ravens to act quickly and not make him play under that franchise contract. Glad to have him back where he belongs. Wouldn't want to see another Billy Cundiff . I would be worried every game that he would fail and lose the game for us. No worries with Justin.
  12. I can understand why younger fans would vote for these three 2012 playoff and Superbowl games. But I am not the average younger fan. I would have voted for the 2000 playoff game against the titans. Anybody who saw that game might agree. That 2000 team would easily beat the 2012 team. That's my opinion of coarse. But I have the complete set of 2000 playoff DVDs and I know a lot about that team.
  13. I know what you're saying and I agree. He seems to be one of those people who takes longer to heal than others. I wouldn't want to guess when he might be back healthy. I just hope that he heals much faster than last year and is ready to play soon.
  14. No sir, Osemele was a MUCH MORE VALUABLE PLAYER than Williams. A coach said last night that the key to a dominant O-line is having a group of guys on the line that have played with each other for years, and trust each other. With Osemele gone, and Monroe out, I wouldn't be surprised if our O-line has taken a step backward, even with Stanley. Osemele was key to our offense success. He literally drove defenders to the ground. And made sure they knew not to mess with him again. Wow, I really hope you're wrong. we are going to need that offensive line to be very good and possibly great. According to PFF Joe doesn't do well under a lot of pressure but not many quarterbacks do. That's the key to stopping an offense a lot of pressure on their quarterback
  15. My first game watching the Ravens was the super bowl. Anquan looked like the best receiver in football to me. So I couldn't understand why they got rid of him. But now I do. Every year they have to sacrifice good players because of the cap. I really liked that game against the Vikings in the snow it was like they were playing here where snow is on the ground nearly all winter. I think they might have set a record for points scored in the final two minutes, not sure.
  16. We weren't supposed to win any of those games. Since this is about youtube check out America's game the 2000 ravens and American's game the 2012 ravens. I think you will learn a lot about the ravens attitude and where play like a raven came from. And why I love my Ravens.
  17. Yes I have the Denver game. My grandfather buys me all the games that are on dvd. There are many games that i love. I loved how the crowd was high fiving and congratulating each other and then the miracle. I'll never forget.
  18. Most of those games I have never seen but since you seem to know more than I do I would certainly like to see them. That Tennessee game was a fight between two teams that hated each other. Even before the game started they put things said by the Ravens on their big screen and got the fans upset. I saw Shannon on the sideline saying yeah we said it whatever you say we said we said it or something like that. I love that game. It was a real grudge match.
  19. Like Ray said just get us ten points and it's all over. That 2000 offense wasn't so bad they had some excellent players. The weakness in my opinion was quarterback. But all he had to do was give the ball to Jamal and pass the ball to Shannon and Qadry And Patrick and nobody was going to get around that left side of that offensive line and Harry wasn't bad on the right side.
  20. I understand what your saying. If you can watch it on dvd why put it on YouTube. But they asked for your favorite game to put on YouTube and that is my favorite game ever. I can still see ray stealing that ball from Eddie and running for a touchdown
  21. i agree that the choice of John as head coach was the right choice. But don't tell my father who is a Bills fan that Rex is just average. He's thinking the Bills are going beat us easily. I can't say any different even thought I think we will beat the Bills easily.
  22. I would love beating them at their place to knock them out the playoffs. They've owned us the last 5 games. I hate the bungles more than any other team including the Brady Bunch and the stealers.
  23. I understand what you are saying. No one could have predicted all of those injuries. So to predict what a team is going to do now is only a guess with many question marks. i just think maybe they have nothing else to write about.
  24. I still think that Flacco is all the quarterback we need and more. However, the problem now is that the Front Office has allowed the team to deteriorate around him, both offensively and defensively. (Worse yet, seeing how they didn't appreciate the chemistry, I'm now convinced the aggregation of the Championship team was mostly luck.) Flacco is 31 years old, his window of opportunity was upon us when Newsome made the decision to rebuild the championship team and jettison key contributors and Flaccos favorite weapon. Everything that has gone South since those purges has been the result of Front Office scrambling to undo the harm of the purge. Realizing Flacco was gonna miss Boldin they sign an injured Pitta. I won't get into how the Boldin Cap Savings was squandered due to bad decision making. Having purged their safeties they draft an unqualified Elam. Having missed on Elam, they have gambled on Free Agents that really weren't up to the task. They just gotta have Monroe and then they don't to more dead money. Our receiving corps has been horribly neglected under Flacco, for crying out loud, look who our leading receiver was last year! You think the Monroe purge was quizzical? To my eye its the same move as stranding Elam without a mentor. This time it's Stanley and yeah, he needs some help. I just don't get it, but I'm convinced Newsome is older than his years. Flacco has about 4 more years. Will the team he needs be there for him during his window of opportunity? It's a stretch. I certainly hope that you're available to straighten this out. We need you at least to advise Erik in the future.
  25. I've seen Dennis make some great catches. If Maxx can do better than Dennis he will be great. I really hope you are right.
