  1. Probably trying to get back onto the field in spite of just having surgery, or at least planning to show up at the Bengals game to yell at the defense to *win*
  2. If we beat the Bengals, Browns, and 49ers, that puts us at 3-4 with a chance to still do well. If we sweep the division, we have a chance to go 3-4, 4-3. I'm hoping the latter. I want to say keep the faith, but I also want to say brace for a negative year. I bet you if Suggs was active, we would have played better, but not a guarantee we'd have won.
  3. Simple. We need to play well on BOTH sides of the ball. We cannot have a game in which only the defense plays well and then a game in which only the offense plays well. We need to play complete damn football, which we have not done. So here's what I think. We either get our crap together and beat the Bengals and MAYBE beat the Steelers, and possibly go 2-2 or 1-3. We do that, we have a chance. We lose the next two and its over. Period. And while I won't "not watch it," I certainly won't devote my afternoon to the games either if we're gonna just let teams win. Also, if Oakland goes on and becomes a contender I'll look back on this loss and just say whatever. But if Oakland loses the rest of the season, we are fools for losing to them.
  4. I disagree with you because Manning didn't do crap against us. We pick sixed him, and he scored no touch downs. We did not lose this game because of our defense. You sir are quite wrong in this regards.
  5. Ravens will carve them up. Defense will shut them down.
  6. Breaking.... Suggs tore his Achilles.
  7. Not to double post but I'm encouraged. I knew our offense would struggle today, I'm just mad we threw that pick six. No pick six? No loss.
  8. The ugly was the ref not calling blatant PI on the defense on the INT play.
  9. I agree, letting Jacoby go was a bad move. But I won't panic.
  10. Everyone assumes we lose to Denver despite Manning looking absolutely out of place in Kubiak's system in the preseason. I think that continues. My predictions: Week 1 at Denver will be a win. Week 2 at Oakland will be a win. Week 3 Home Opener with Cincinnati will be a win Week 4 At Pittsburgh will be a loss Week 5 Cleveland at home will be a win. Week 6 At Niners will be a win Week 7 at Phoenix will be a loss Week 8 San Diego at home will be a win Week 9 Bye Week 10 Jacksonville at home will be a win. Week 11 St. Louis at home will be a win. Week 12 at Cleveland will be a win Week 13 at Miami will be a win Week 14 Seattle at home will be a win Week 15 Kansas City at home will be a loss Week 16 Pittsburgh at home will be a win. Week 17 at Cincinnati will be a loss 12-4. MAYBE a loss in Arizona putting as at 11-5. I think we win the Division (We sweep the Browns, Steelers sweep the Bengals and split with the Browns, Bengals split the Browns, and we have the best overall record between them) And I think we have two home playoff games, because I feel like the usual suspects (Broncos and Patriots) will have their usual momentum deflated (see what I did there) by tougher competition: Kansas, San Diego, and yes Oakland will steal games from Denver, and the Bills and Dolphins will be nagging thorns in Brady's side. And thus I think we get number 2 seed - 12-4 will be the highest record in the AFC.
  11. I'm setting my expectations low for this game: our second and third stringers are gonna blow the roof of... of harbaugh's lid when they get blanked. That way, if we win, and we win big, I'll be pleasantly surprised.
  12. I'm confident in our team. Starting Offense and Defense looked awesome for the most part. Our backups need to relearn football. And that fight was BS. I felt like the 'skins were headhunting the whole game.
  13. I'm worried because our O line is hurting. I'm mad because our 1st team defense knows better. And I'm furious that the refs are turning this into flag football. Never been pissed at a preseason game before xD
  14. Ban Belicheat and Brady from the Super Bowl is the punishment I'd doll out. And I'd wait until Sunday at around 3 PM before I inform them. *is vengeful*
  15. After the press conferences, my hatred for Belicheat went up, and yet I also gained some respect for Brady, much as I loathe him. I believe Brady is innocent of wrong doing, but I'm beyond convinced Evil Bill was in on it.
  16. 11 of 12. I hope the 12s show up at the Superbowl and drown out anything Brady says so that he feels the sting of being dominated. Seriously. The Patriots need to just lay down and lose. If they win, DeflateGate will haunt them forever. If they lose? People will forget about it and go back to worshiping the Seahawks.
  17. Here's what really makes me mad. If Evil Little Bill and Tom Brady were not seemingly always finding a way to cheat and skirt the rules? I'd probably like them and sorta semi sorta cheer for them whenever we were out of the picture. If Tom Brady didn't get special treatment? I'd probably actually legitimately like them. They have the talent. They have standout guys like Wilfork. WHY DO THEY FEEL THE NEED TO DO THIS CRAP??? That's what makes me loathe these guys. They could probably do just fine without it! Back to the divisional round, if they hadn't used trick plays they *still* could have driven down the field with the way our secondary was playing and *still* could have stolen the game. But they used deceptiveness. The Colts didn't even show up and the Patriots may have cheated! WHY? This is why the Patriots are despised. They could win on their own but instead they break the rules while doing so.
  18. If this is true, that means that at least a few of the footballs used by the Patriots were in fact tampered. If that is the case, you're possibly looking at a few less touchdowns, perhaps a few more field goals, or perhaps a much lower scoring game. Would the Colts have won? No. I believed that whoever won between Ravens-Patriots would advance to the Superbowl, and I stand by my statement that had we won, we woulda beaten the Colts too. The fact remains however, the Patriot legacy continues to be marred. If I were Kraft - and this were proven true - I'd fire Evil Little Bill.
  19. My problem with the game: I can take the Lions.... win games no problem. Dominate. I can take the freaking' Jaguars... win games, make the playoffs, no problem. .... I play as the Ravens, and I can't stop anyone? Something is inherently flawed with the rating system.
