  1. I want us to win because I'm not one of those types of fans. You cheer for your team.
  2. It's been the season that shows who a real fan is and who isn't that's for sure. And yeah, if you root for your team to lose, you're probably not much of a fan. I don't care how much heat that gets me.
  3. I don't expect us to win out or win another game. But I want them to. I want them to fight, because IMO, if our injured guys come back healthy, and we show we have the stretch to steal a few more wins if not all of them? We'll be a juggernaut next year. Pride is a wonderful thing if people have it.
  4. I'm thrilled we got the win. Like a real fan, I want my Ravens to play to WIN.
  5. YES YAY. I'm not ever going to hope for a loss.
  6. Our offense is is not good right now. BUT. I also feel like the refs are calling us on crap that the Rams are getting away with. And we'd possibly be up a score or two if not for that. We get flagged on BS interference, they don't get flagged on blatant. They've also facemasked a dozen times and no call.
  7. We win this game. We win against the Rams, and we win against the Browns. Then I believe we go to Miami. I think we can win against them, as I believe that the team will have nothing to fight for - they rallied around their head coach until they met New England and got destroyed, and I think the Dolphins are basically the AFC East version of the Browns. Any game after that I'd flip a coin off and say we either win or lose by 3-7 points.
  8. Bold Prediction. Ravens - 34 Cards - 15 - The Cardinals D underestimates us, and Flacco connects with Smith Sr. who plays with all sorts of piss and vinegar, as well as Crockett. We get our run game going as well. The Steelers winning somehow proves beneficial to them and sends the Cards D reeling. - Our defense is leaky, but somehow we come up with just the right plays every time it looks like Palmer gets a drive going. - Jimmy Smith 2 pick sixes. THAT is a bold prediction, especially seeing as how we've not played at all near the level this would require. And that's why I'm making it. We always have that one game we manhandle someone in, regardless of how bad we're doing over all. Let *us* be the trap game for once.
  9. I'm not optimistic by any means. BUT. .... I think the Cardinals underestimate us, and we stun them and ourselves. And fans will be mad that we're not bombing for the number one draft pick. I think if that were to happen though, and our D actually did things right, I'd probably gain some hope.
  10. Ray isn't wrong. I would argue that last year.... it was leadership and guts that got us to the playoffs. We still had Suggs and Haloti leading us. But our secondary was still bad. Our offense was still inconsistent. But... we had an easy schedule (NFC South anyone?) I am willing to bet that if we had this year's schedule last year, we'd probably have had a record close to 2013 if not slightly worse. And this year we have no core leaders. I don't want our QB to be that guy. We're built on DEFENSE. That is the cornerstone of the Ravens and until either someone like Mosley or Jimmy step it up, OR we draft someone who can bring that fire like Ray can.... well. Yeah. We know the results. The 2012 Ravens? The 2012 Ravens had the leaders. And a good secondary. Not great. Good. If we had our leaders and our secondary was even a smidge better this year? .... we'd probably be 6-0.
  11. Dean Pees and Trestman. I believe it starts with the coaching. I believe if we had a Rex Ryan or a Pagano, our defense would be crushing it, because people would buy in. We have neither obviously, they're both head coaches. But we need someone our D can believe in. Trestman just isn't a fit. He doesn't know a balanced attack and won't know if it hits him in the butt. Trestman would be amazing with a QB like a Manning in his prime or Brady or Rodgers. They air it the hell out and they do good doing it. Flacco needs a running game. Period, and Trestman isn't coaching it well. Guarantee you, if we don't lose Kubiak this past off season, we're at least .500.
  12. Yes cause its good for the fans to stop believing in the team. I am disgusted but I am at least still a fan and will continue root and hold onto hope that maybe the season can turn around until it's absolutely impossible.
  13. Fire Pees, Fire Trestman, and force the Offensive Line into running drills all damn week.
  14. I don't. I'd rather brace for the disappointment, but then be pleasantly surprised if the team gets hot and streaks.
  15. What pisses me off is the head coach claiming Browns fans are more passionate about Ravens fans. If that's true, ya'll need to get more passionate about our team win OR lose.
  16. Source?
  17. If it happens, it won't until the BYE.
  18. We win this game, we still have a shot (a long one) but still a shot. We lose this game, we don't have a shot in hell.
  19. I've said my piece. Firing Harbs is not the answer. Firing Trestman is not the answer either. Pees? Wait until the Bye. We need the extra week to install a new defense, if we do it before or after the bye, we're idiots. But here's the thing. Losing stars is going to hurt. Suggs was the spirit of our D, and is gone for the year. Doom was stepping up, and our D played well last week. Now he's gone. Webb? I hope it's not even short term and he's right back out there next week because he WAS lights out. Jimmy Smith is still good, but he can't do it alone. He's no Ed Reed. But without our offense and defensive stars, we're just not gonna be good. The good news? If the Ravens play their cards right and bust out some key wins, and a few odds and ends go the way they should go, we could very well be in the Wild Card with a 9-7 record. The bad news? We have to basically win out against all AFC opponents, and lose only to the NFC opponents we have. I think if we don't have this horrible slew of injuries this year, I think we are undefeated.
  20. Week 1 - We lose our real defensive leader (Suggs is more of a leader than Pees) in Terrell Suggs. Week 2 - Defense just blows it (much like when we got pancaked by the Texans right after losing Ray Lewis.) Week 3 - Gilmore goes down (Playmaker on Offense) Week 4 - Smith Sr. goes down (Number 1 player on offense) Week 5 - Doom, Forsett, and Webb go down On top of that, Canty is out. I think in a lot of cases, that many injuries to that many star players is going to doom us. That leaves Flacco, Tucker, and Jimmy Smith as our only "star players" completely healthy.
  21. Under normal circumstances, predicting a Ravens dominant win is a curse. But that doesn't count against the Browns, because they're the Browns. From Cleveland. They'll do Browns things. We could play our most horrible football, but they'll be the Browns which gives us a chance to win. So yes, I expect a solid game. Ravens - 31 Browns - 15 ((I'm being realistic about our defense, we'll give them yards, but they'll get 5 field goals)) My dream scenario would be Flacco breaking Manning's TD record with "no name" receivers.
  22. Didn't people say Smith Sr. was also a bad locker room presence? Yet here he is, beloved by team and fans.
  23. Hypothetical: we win dominantly. What are the odds the thread is still gonna be "The not so good, the horrible, and the horribly disgusting vs. the Browns" anyway with the way people are crapping on their own team?
  24. I still say that the fumble wasn't recovered. The dude's right foot wasn't down from the camera angles I saw.
  25. "The rest of the team sucks." Fair weather fans.
