  1. This was a season plagued by injuries. Do great teams survive them? I think so. We didn't have the depth to compete. It showed up all of preseason. We wound up wandering through the marketplace searching for washouts early on. Going into a NFL game with Clausen or Schaub as your starter was painful. Next season we rebuild and keep Osemele and hopefully Upshaw. If the Ravens lose their good players, repeat performance and back to the open market. Not a great team next season but in contention. Maybe the playoffs.

  2. I sort of remember ( oh yea!) this guy, George Blanda, Detroit Lions. He came to every game with a hang over and loved it. He also kicked winning field goals. Old school perspective: it doesn't matter the night before as long as your stomach doesn't get in the way of the football, and it was Atkins, rest in peace bro, who broke Unitas's nose. He was a monster.

  3. For feeding thought or fought. Flacco had a "once upon a midnight dreary" season. I never had, all mounting injuries combined, confidence in his reaching the receivers. He hit the other team once to often. Mallet, one game, I saw, pretty much, direct hits. The pass to Matthews was a gem you expect from Brady, Manning of old or that Packer guy. Sunday will cause a stir if Mallet comes up good. Stir the pot, baby. It's the business of pro football.

  4. Since I live in San Miguel de Allende, Mexico, flexing really doesn't matter. There are four Mexican TV stations that carry NFL football every Sunday besides Cable. I catch the Ravens seven, eight times a year. For a reason, The Baltimore Ravens are fan favorites south of the border. My Raven pull over is a wanted commodity. I guard it with my life.
