  1. We may not make it to the playoffs, but if we do it would be in the category of the US hockey team beating Russia for the gold a few years back. We're going to have to defeat a few very good teams. This season could be special. No matter what, the Ravens will play their hearts out.
  2. Give Jacoby a shot at it. Pitta will probably retire next week. Perriman will remain out way past the bye. Jacoby's chances of going all the way or at least putting the offense in great field position are better than we winning the next eight in a row. For his game savers in the past, he deserves a try. If not, he gets his last cup of coffee in a Raven mug.
  3. I think we all want to see Perriman on the field against the Jaguars. Who knows. I'm pumped up for it. If his injury takes more time to heal so be it. How much time will he need to practice his routes and timing with Flacco? This isn't a season ending injury. Every Sunday I take another deep breath waiting for the day to come.
  4. It comes down to shaving points. Shaving points does happen, Virgina. You have to be a twelve year old to think that the game is judged with good intent in the minds of the Zebras. Goodell and the casino operators rule the day. Case in point, billions were lost in SB 2012, worldwide, when we squeaked out a win.
  5. The zebras almost always get it wrong. They break up the momentum, the rhythm of the game. Beautiful plays are nullified by senseless judgement calls because they are out of position. Seeing some old, over weight guy on shaky legs panting and wheezing, playing catch up is ridiculous. Need trim young referees who have good vision and can mentally stay in tune like those guys who referee World Cup soccer matches.
  6. The Ravens have Givens, a pretty fast, good hands wide out. They decide to use him sparingly. Harbaugh decides to sit him down for Brown and Aiken. It wasn't his fault that Flacco under threw him. Flacco cannot consistently measure up to fast receivers. He threw short to Torry. Had to double back to catch it in coverage. I don't expect a Montana to Rice duo. I only want Flacco to be accurate on the long ones and why isn't Ross playing all game long. Outside of SSS, it's been hellish up to now.
  7. I wouldn't mind seeing Jacoby go all the way. Just not 109 yards. He ran that one for us. I miss him and Torry both.
  8. Homestretch... Mink, right on! Around the far turn into the stretch it's Man o' War, Citation and Secretariat neck and neck. Wait a minute some one forgot to let loose the Ravens.
  9. Eisenburg, not another rah rah, we can still overcome article. We, out here in reality land, have intelligence enough to know that we may win a few more ballgames before Christmas/Chanukah rolls around. Just stop trying to spoon feed us the Gerber creme of wheat. This season is toast. I will be pleasantly surprised if we finish 7-9 period
  10. Hey kid, you maybe crappin' crayolas for some time to come.
  11. I expect huge things from De'Ondre Wesley at 6"7" 326, Why so late? He may be raw, but sooner on the field than later. Just maybe we could have used this guy last week and the week before last and the....
  12. The NFL always protecting their own. According to the VP of officiating, the zebra did no wrong because he was "distracted" probably by Urschel blocking his view. fell asleep on the playing field or more likely by our good looking cheer leaders doing their thing. Blandino's excuse reads like barnyard bs. This crap is hard to swallow.
  13. Didn't Belichick put in ineligible receivers during the playoff game last year? He had them lined up as wide outs. The zebras went along with it. The call on Urschel was, to say the least, shocking. Johnson got back up and started to run. The play was never blown dead.
  14. The call against Urschel was a fix. The refs saw him as an eligible receiver. I think I'm right on this... Belichick in the playoff game bringing in ineligible receivers and getting away with it. Not blowing the whistle on the 62 yard run, after Williams clearly had stopped Johnson's forward motion was criminal.
  15. Should have brought up Butler weeks ago. We needed him when Perriman wasn't coming back anytime soon. Another mistake by the men in the castle.
  16. We lose close because we fall apart during the last ten minutes of the 4th.qt. If Flacco doesn't hand out a few gifts and if our secondary can come together, who knows? I think it's going to be a long night. No miracles in the desert.
  17. Ross and Givens! Play them all night long. Put in Waller. What's to lose. The season's been shot dead. I'm tired of what I've already seen from most of the pass catchers. I want to see what the new guys can do. SSS is playing with broken bones because he's all we have.
  18. I expect, being real, that Palmer will throw for over 450 yds. against our secondary. They won't have to run the ball. It will be Brown and Fitzgerald all night long, dinks, dunks and bombs away. Pees, come Tuesday morning will say that the Ravens just have to keep practicing their few simple schemes. "Schemes" seems to fit into the vocabulary of kinks, retooling and hammering out the dents. This season because of piss poor management and coaching, will not rise to conquer.
  19. Fitzgerald is still doing it and he will keep on doing it Monday night if our defense can't apply pressure on Palmer. He's always had his way with us. Probably be brutal watching Palmer light it up.
  20. Jamie, you're cute and totally amazing. It's just that you will have to remember the ever changing roster every two or three days.
  21. Great example of hood winking. You dangle Wright like a carrot before the eyes of the beholder, knowing that the Ravens will "snatch him off the market". Very next game, it's worth 14 points and a win. There are those times when our FO and our illustrious coaching staff forget to do their homework. He was never activated...for a reason.
  22. My only hope is that we can muster two or three more wins. The entire team has fallen apart and it showed yesterday with no urgency to win. No on field leadership with coaches who seem content with just riding out the season. Trestman doesn't have a clue and Pees is still stuck in Defense 101. There is something symbolic when your field goal kicker( the hero of our times) falls flat on his butt.
  23. We lose to an Aussie rugby player scoring a touchdown in the final minutes... that would be all this dying season needs.
  24. Kevin, we know it's obvious the team has to play better. You can count up the injuries, but way back last summer no one thought, up there in the castle, that the 1st. string players would get hurt and look at us now. No back ups like the exhibition season when the 2nd,3rd string players couldn't cut it. It was obvious in July.
  25. I'm really surprised. Surprise me some more and sign Tucker.
