Glad Ozzie make the picks and not you!
Not me. Ozzie's picks over the past 7 years have been destroying this franchise! If you need a list I'd be more than happy to provide. There have been at least 10-12 100% whiffs in rounds 1-3 over the past 7 years. Forget pro bowls, they are guys that can't even contribute at all to a victory. It's very sad, for the Ravens, and the fans. Think about that, completely whiffing on 2 of 3 picks in rounds 1,2, and 3.....for 7 years in a row!!!! That combined with our below average coaching staff, it's a miracle we went 8-8. Sizzle,Ngata, Ray, and Ed made John look good. Now he's been 100% exposed. This was literally the worst coached season in any sport I've seen my entire life. Yet Steve says bring em all back??? When all is said and done, if we keep drafting like we have been, we'll be losers for years to come. Stanley is good. He better be good, he was picked 6th overall. Would've been nice to move back, pick up another high pick, and maybe have taken a corner in the first? Instead we move back later, for 4th round picks instead of 1rst and 2nds, and pass on franchise builders like Shepard, Spence, and Michael Thomas....And what do we do all that for.....100%WHIFF-KC. Kinda goes without saying that the phrase "in ozzie we trust" hasn't been around for almost a DECADE. Then Kufasi, another awesome hustle and developmental player. This draft has multiple pro bowl corners in the first round. If we don't take one, the fans will have to "rise up!" LOL. really though. drafting and coaching are destroying the Ravens. It's not my opinion either. It's fact
Every team has close to the same "whiffs". Name me any pick Ozzie has made and I'll give you at least 10 guys picked BEFORE that player that been 100% busts..... Belicheck is horrible picking in the 1st Round - I guess you think he's destroying the Pats, too? SMH You wanted us to pick Jalen "Crying on the sideline cause he's losing" Ramsey. A soft, no heart DB - yeah that's what we needed....
A lot of teams may whiff, but not as much as we have recently. And what are you talking about Belicheck is horrible in the first round??...SMH...and no I don't think he's destroying the pats LOL Easley got hurt. Besides that he's been killing it in the draft and hasn't missed on a first round pick in NINE years. Might wanna check facts before you "SMD" at me All he's done is draft pro bowler after pro bowler after pro bowler. O, while at the same time, moving down the whole time and accumulating extra second and third round picks basically every single year. So please knowledgeable one, tell me how he's horrible at picking in the first...lol
Ok so he did well in the first round but you must be the only one in the world who hasn't realized that Belicheck has made some really big reaches in the second and third. Your Wheatleys, Butlers, Braces, Cunninghams, Dowlings, Bequettes, Wilsons, Dobsons, Ryans, Harmons (proj as a 7th rndr taken in the 3rd), Jimmy Garoppolo, Jordan Richards (proj as 6th rnder taken in the 2nd), Grissom (proj as a 6th rnder taken in the 3rd), Cyrus Jones (has played terrible this year). And then look at their later round picks. They have very rarely drafted quality depth with players taken after the fourth round. It gets talked about a lot around the draft, up until the regular season and then sort of falls by the wayside because they start winning, but any Pats fan will tell you that they are perplexed by a lot of those moves. But in the end it doesn't really matter because the Pats make it to the playoff and have a deep run if not a Superbowl appearance every year. I couldn't say this definitively but I think that if you took the last five drafts, the Ravens would have drafted more usable player than the Pats. I also think that if you did it with the Bengals you would find that they have drafted more quality players than either the Pats or Ravens. Anyway, Belachick is still arguably one of the greatest coaches of all time, and his tendency to reach on draft day won't change that.
