The guy would have been perfect for us and really the obvious choice. Picking an offensive coordinator that specialized in the same offense in which our QB thrived in the year prior... well that just makes too much sense. I kind of forget if we brought him in or not. Don't forget about Alex Lewis... I think whats difficult is that even before the Ray Rice thing there was sort of this impression that we were a team of thugs, for multiple different reasons. I don't see how the Seahawks don't get that kind of label (well i guess I do, I never here about any of them being arrested). But when they win they jaw their mouths and try to antagonize the other team after, before, and during the game. And when they loose and they get a taste of their own medicine there seems like there is a scuffle every other play. That said I don't see how they get away with drafting a guy like Frank Clark. We certainly would never hear the end of it if we drafted a guy like that. Tyreek Hill also fits into that category. Both of them are producing though (Frank has 10 sack this year as a back up), so Im sure that takes a little bit of heat off of them from their own fan base at least. In what world do we need an undersized scat-back? I don't understand all these people saying to draft Cook outta FSU...now McCaffrey? We have 2, if not 3 solid backs already on our roster. We just have to actually, you know, run the ball. If we want to take a back in the later rounds for insurance, ok sure, but people are talking about blowing our 1st rounder on a RB...why? It makes 0 sense. yea scat backs tend to have a hard time in the AFC north. Just ask Chris Rainey and Dri Archer (i think there were also so off the field issues with those guys). It also doesn't make sense to take a RB with early picks if they aren't every down backs. I would take LF though. I just took a gander at NFL draft scouts RB ratings and Cook is actually at 1 LF 2 and CM 3. I think LF is hurt but I don't think he makes it to us. Donta Foreman is also an interesting option. It would be nice if we had a RB that could also serve as FB. Killing two birds with one stone kind of thing. Donta is just as big as Kyle. But obviously there are other questions that would have to be answered to do that type of thing. First how is he at catching out of the backfield. And does Donta know how to block and if not could he be taught. And really the first question is some what related to character which is, would he be willing to block.

Our last three defensive coordinators have not become head coaches. Unless you have some insider information about Greg Mattison that we don't know about.

Well I know you love Leslie but if his track record is any indication of his future success I wouldn't count his ability to make the Bills great again. There has been only 1 season in the last five seasons of Leslies coaching career where he has had a winning record. In his 3 years as head coach with the Vikings he only won more than 6 games once. For the two years he was defensive coordinator for the Buccs he won 2 and 6 games respectively, and in his last year the with the Buccs they only had the 25th best defense in the league. And before all of that he was the Minnisota Vikings DC for three years from 2007 to 2010 and there was only one year out of those three in which his defense was ranked higher than 25th in the league. I think it may be time to get off of the Frazier fanboy bus.

Its hard for me to see how a guy ranked as the 56 guard in the league this year would be a relief. Especially when he came in for a play during the Eagles game when Zuttah went out with a minor injury, and proceeded to be driven 5 yards into the backfield where West was tackled. You must be basing Urshels skill level on his IQ or his popularity because when he has been in, he has been a disaster. I will say, his rookie season when he played 2 or 3 games at the end of the season and into the playoffs. he played pretty well which unfortunately seems to be an outlier because it has been all downhill from there.

Not even close. I would trade SSS AND Wallace for Antonio Brown. You cant and shouldn't put them in the same level. Brown is so good he demands double teams while our 2 top receivers do not. This creates mismatches and allows other receivers to get open. In our first game with pit we locked down brown and no one else was able to find separation. It worked once and then they made adjustments in the following games and guys stepped up. And Aiken was not used very often because he didn't perform when given then chance. He may have been a one year wonder and may not be back next season. Also I would never compare Joe to Manning but Petyon changed teams and systems twice in 4 years and Set records, 2 SB appearances and a SB win in denver. So yeah it's Peyton manning but it shows the qb is more than just the system they are in. Manning also brings his offense where he goes, except you are right, for that SB win he changed to Kubes, but it was tailored to his strengths at that point in his career.

Well what a kindergartner would be able to understand, and clearly what you seem to be having difficulty grasping is that we resigned him after he won the Superbowl, and there aren't any kindergartners that would say that was a bad idea. We RENEGOTIATED his contract before the season. If we did not renegotiate his contract we would have had to pay him nearly 30 million dollars this season. It is very clear you haven't been watching Zuttah. The worst center we've ever had?? After that ridiculous statement I am not sure why I am even dignifying you with a response,.but here it goes. He was graded the ninth best center in the league last year and he will be graded in the top half of centers this year. There are two possibilities here. One, you have no idea how to access offensive line talent because you don't know what they do. It would not surprise me if you couldn't tell the difference between a bucket or pull step and a false step. And you probably would have trouble differentiating between a pulling lineman and any type of cross block. But hey maybe you do know about what goes on in the trenches. If this is the case then your problem is that you have not watched Zuttah on every single play, assessed his performance on the play, and made a tally somewhere in a book so that you could add them all up at the end to see how he did. You know like PFF does twice over. But if I were a betting man I would say its both. You don't know much about offensive line play and you are judging Zuttah on .1 percent of the plays that he has played this season. I would be fine with letting Zuttah go because of the money but not without bringing someone in, because if you think Zuttah has been the Ravens worst center ever (Did you just start watching the Ravens this season? Do you not remember Gino Gradkowski or AQ shipley?) you will be in for a rude awakening if either Jensen or Urschel are relied upon to take that spot next season.

Well that just isnt true at all. His first four games were rough with people rotating through the guard spots next to him. And yes there were two times in one of those games where he backed up on Joe. And in another one of those games neigher Jensen or Zuttah blocked a guy that they were clearly responsible for which lead to a sack. But in the last eleven games of the season he has been rated as one of top five players on the offensive side of the ball eight times. Twice he was the top player and twice he was the second. I wouldn't call Zuttah past his prime or a stop gap. He was rated the number 9 gaurd in the league last year. But he is expensive and if we do get rid of him we better have a plan because there is no one else on our roster that would come close to performing the way he did. And its possible that you would dispute PFFs grade or grading system but what I would say is that you are basing you opinion on only about 1 percent of his plays because there is no way that you would be able to watch him, and then access his performance on every single play during the game. But, he is expensive and I would be fine letting him go. But if we let him go and think that either Urschel or Jensen would be able to perfrom in his place it would be a really big over site.

Swapping Levine for Webb would be a big mistake. Webb played fairly well this year and had a coverage grade better than Weddle. If we swap him for Levine then we have two strong safeties. I am not sure if we will keep Webb or not but there is no one currently on our roster that would be able to adequately take over that roll. And most certainty not Levine (there is a reason he doesn't play often). B Will is going to have to go. It is just not going to make sense for us to pay him the type of money that would keep him here. I think what happens to Juice wil be determined by how much interest there is around the league and what the rookie FB class looks like.

Glad Ozzie make the picks and not you! Not me. Ozzie's picks over the past 7 years have been destroying this franchise! If you need a list I'd be more than happy to provide. There have been at least 10-12 100% whiffs in rounds 1-3 over the past 7 years. Forget pro bowls, they are guys that can't even contribute at all to a victory. Your Wheatleys, Butlers, Braces, Cunninghams, Dowlings, Bequettes, Wilsons, Dobsons, Ryans, Harmons (proj as a 7th rndr taken in the 3rd), Jimmy Garoppolo, Jordan Richards (proj as 6th rnder taken in the 2nd), Grissom (proj as a 6th rnder taken in the 3rd), Cyrus Jones (has played terrible this year). And then look at their later round picks. They have very rarely drafted quality depth with players taken after the fourth round. It gets talked about a lot around the draft, up until the regular season and then sort of falls by the wayside because they start winning, but any Pats fan will tell you that they are perplexed by a lot of those moves. But in the end it doesn't really matter because the Pats make it to the playoff and have a deep run if not a Superbowl appearance every year. I couldn't say this definitively but I think that if you took the last five drafts, the Ravens would have drafted more usable player than the Pats. I also think that if you did it with the Bengals you would find that they have drafted more quality players than either the Pats or Ravens. Anyway, Belachick is still arguably one of the greatest coaches of all time, and his tendency to reach on draft day won't change that.

You have got to be kidding me. The last six games of the season Stanley was rated as the best OT in all of football in pass pro. In those same games he was rated #4 in the run game. Alex is far from complete. We LOST the those games Stanley was out. It blows my mind that anyone could even come to this kind of conclusion. Where have you been all season. Check out Hooker for secondary and Thomas as pass rusher. Trade what ever it takes with this year's draft picks to get them because I bet will be 8-8 in 2017. trade whatever it takes? are those the only two players that are worth anything in this years draft?

That to me was the straw that broke my back. You can't get shoved around like that. Especially when your the one snapping the damn ball. Iv defended Zuttah often but at this point, I'm not sure if he's any better than Urschel. Lewis on the other hand is exceeding any expectation we had for him and I hope it continues. Welll if you are just looking at his first four games you would be right to say he struggled and in one of those games he backed up on Flacco on two seperate occasions (that was the game he book ended by Urschel and Jensen). But of the last 11 games he has been rated as one of the top 5 offensive players on our team. And when Urschel did play this year and last it waos really ugly. Really, really, really ugly. People just remeber that one game backing up on Flacco twice and have some how convinced themselves that it has happened all season. That said his salary cap is high and he might be a casualty but if we went into the season expecting to rely on Urschel it would be a terrible mistake. Urschel has been consistently terrible. He looks like he is on skates. Zuttah came out for one play with a minor injury during the Eagles game. TW was taken down in the 5 yards in the backfield because Urschel didn't put up any type of resistance. If Zuttah couldnt come back in that game there is no doubt in my mind that it would have been an L. Unfortunately being smart doesnt do anything for your strength or athletic ability.

Yet you don't factor in how many games we'd have lost by having Hurst as our starting LT. alex lewis would have started at LT not hurst im not sure if that a huge upgrade. Lewis has more talent than Hurst but Lewis is just a rookie and his time at LT this season did not look good. That said If we didn't draft RS in all likely hood we would have taken OL earlier than we grabbed Lewis.

When you are loaded with mediocre players you likely will go 8-8. We're definitely not loaded with mediocre players. I sincerely believe we had the most talented roster in the AFC easily, and maybe the whole league. The problem was we are loaded awful coaches all the way around, except Frazier. And Joe played pretty much the worst football of his career this year The most talented roster in the AFC easily? We didn't even have the most talented roster in our division. How is that you know that Frazier is doing a good job and all of the other coaches are not????. Just to be clear i am not saying that Frazier is a bad coach. I am saying that there isn't any evidence that would legitimize cherry picking Frazier out of the bunch to say he has done a good job and the rest haven't.

I am sorry that you are unable to dictate the going rate for QBs in the league. There seems to be a misunderstanding of even basic Economic concepts here. And unfortunately, that is not surprising.
