Was hoping for Fish Smithson
What are the odds Ozzie trades out ?
I'd say probably about 30%. More than likely won't but not too much of a stretch.
Sorry if this is a duplicate thread, I haven't seen anything on it. Is there any word on our final draft position?
That's the game.
That's the game.
The "kick 6" was the most exciting Ravens game ending play I ever saw. I began prolonged loud and primal screams at the top of my lungs. I live in historic Ellicott City with many neighbors and thin walls. I am just grateful that nobody called 911 for a possible domestic disturbance or homicide in progress.
I think I know exactly who you are. I'll give you a hint who I am now... Your son had the exact opposite reaction, because he wanted us to lose to get a better draft pick AND he had fantasy players he wanted more points from in OT. I know this because I live with him.
I highly doubt we will need ten wins to get in. I'm not saying I fully believe we will get in anyway, but I would pretty much guarantee 9-7 gets at least the sixth seed, and quite possibly worse.
I don't know. That Oakland loss hurts our chances of getting in at 9-7. It means they have to be worse, we won't own a tie breaker over them unless there are a bunch of other teams at 9-7 and crazy things happen.
I agree that being practical doesn't make you less of a fan, but then again being optimistic doesn't make a person necessarily less practical if they can give a decent reason for their optimism. 1: We might finally have a speedster in Givens who can stretch the field pulling the opposing secondary off the line of scrimmage. 2: Perriman may be returning in a few weeks (hopefully less) which would give us even more of a weapon down field. 3: Urban is back. (finally). 4: (Wishful thinking?) Suggs may return? 5: If you look at the standings, not many teams in the AFC have that good of a record especially the AFC south and there's still half the season to go yet. A lot can happen. Wild card? 6: Flacco. 7: I've said this before; I think having SSS out will actually help. These younger guys need to step up and I believe that they will now that they get more opportunities. 8: Rothlessburger is out hurt. At this point who knows how long. Sorry; I know that sounds terrible but it's football and it may or may not make a difference in helping us get closer to a wild card berth. The only serious down side I see is Pees' system. Not saying that we even make it to the playoffs or even finish with a winning season. Just not ready to be less than optimistic.
One correction... Suggs is not returning. He's on season ending IR, so he is ineligible to return.
Trestman? Is that a joke? We're like 9th in the NFL in points scored with 0 credible NFL receivers... Hot seat? I'd rather give him a freakin raise.Nope, but Pees and Trestman are. Harbs, Brooks, Castillo seems like the only coaches who's jobs are safe as of right now
He HAS to be a gimmick lol.......just has to be!
He's not. At least not that any of us know of at 105.7. He could be a troll, but if so, he does that on his own.
It is bad. From the lame morning show to the station's GM who knows nothing about Baltimore sports. He's a Pittsburgh guy.
Who are you talking about by the station's GM? Dave Labrozzi, the Programming Director? What relevance does it have that he's from Pittsburgh. He doesn't come up with the material for the talent to talk about. They do that on their own.
Okay folks, a couple things. 105.7 The Fan is WJZ-FM, not WFAN. Secondly, anyone who thinks they don't talk football is high. They have a freaking Monday Morning Quarterback show, first of all. I work in sales for the station and can tell you that even though we are the flagship of the Orioles, the ratings skyrocket during football season. To say they lack in Ravens coverage during football season is ignorant. Of course they are Orioles focused when the Orioles are in a playoff race in mid August (although out of it now). How long do you expect them to go on about Breshad Perriman's knee? There's really only so much you can say about that. Yes, I work there so I am biased, but I work there only because I was a fan of their 24/7 sports coverage long before I was employed by CBS. There's a reason it's the #1 ranked station in the market for men. Comparing it to WNST is absolutely laughable... WNST doesn't even show up on Nielsen ratings lol... And you really think 105.7 gives a damn about hockey? Really? No. They might mention the Caps as a side note for like 2 seconds, and that's it.
I hate when people bring that game up.Joe didn't have a bad game that day.He just wasn't asked to do anything. Also,he had a serious thigh injury he was dealing with.
Dude... He had a bad game, thigh injury or not lol
Anyone who argues that the 2013 Ravens are the "worst Ravens team ever" is a clown. Clearly hasn't been along for the whole ride. They are easily the worst of the Flacco/Harbaugh era, and the run defense was historically bad, but come on... They were a week 17 win away from making the playoffs, and even went into week 16 having a chance to clinch. Disappointing and EXTREMELY flawed rushing attack? Yes. Worst Ravens team ever? Come on...
Let's see if there's room... Steve Smith Sr, Breshad Perriman, Marlon Brown, Kamar Aiken, Michael Campanaro makes 5... if we carry 6 it'll be between Waller, Jeremy Butler, and a few other camp bodies.
I would think that Boyle's chances of making the team depend on injuries... If Dennis Pitta, Maxx Williams, and Crockett Gillmore are all healthy, I doubt we carry Nick Boyle as a 4th TE. Obviously, injuries happen and Pitta is a question mark, though.

To be fair, I'm a little biased. I'm a Kansas alum. We only have so much we can get excited about with our football program. Now he's a Redskin. Doh!
