Another tough season for players and fans. They play their hearts out, and we cheer for them. It's time to make some hard decisions at the coaching levels and upper management. The Coaches cannot produce a consistent scheme week in and week out. How do they expects good/solid players (not superstars) to win? And the coaches clock management, questionable play calling and on field adjustments are reason enough for OZ and Bisciotti to start to look elsewhere. And, we haven't won anything since the Harbaugh gutting post SB. Why cut mean, fast, nasty, smash mouth players? That's how you win in AFC North Coach.
Solid year for defense overall but with Sizzle Doom and webby coming to an end, and Jimmy Smith's lack of being able to complete a season, we really need big help on the edges and in the Secondary. Big help! CJ and Orr have the LB's locked down and Brandon's a force in the middle. With that said, we had leads with less than 2 minutes in 3 or 4 games this year and the DEFENSE could not close out those games. We take 2 of those wins including PITT last week we're a lock for the post season.
We can all point fingers at Joe, He makes bad decisions, doesn't let plays develops, lives for the check down, overthrows and underthrow's constantly, hesitates to run post knee surgery....But he's still our best option. Need to grow around him and get him an OC who can call a balanced game leading with Dixon at RB as the bell cow, and allowing Joe to settle in and get Cozy again ala Joe with Torrey/Q/Pitta days...
Congrats to the 4 pro bowlers. Hopefully KC or Pitt can keep Brady out of the SB.
