I went grocery shopping after Joe's 2nd interception. Turned out to be a good decision.

This is too a must win, Eisenberg, unless we're just going to play for a low draft pick. We are playing a bad team in disarray and losing to the Jets would put an exclamation point on our own mediocrity. We need to go into the bye week with a win and a winning record, not the opposite, because it's only going to get more competitive once we return to the field. IMHO the three teams we just lost to are not very good or at least very beatable. We need to win this no matter who is playing or not.

I wonder if it would have been better a few years ago if Kubiak had not been available? Ravens were looking at Kyle Shanahan and then one-year Kubiak came along, who promised to stay the long term until El-no-way came a callin'. That was a hell of a good year, but I wonder if we had signed Shanahan, who's a pretty good OC, whether the continuity may have helped? Might not be in this fix. Wonder if Mormhinweg is a stopgap till next year or is he viewed as the long term fix?

Hopefully, the Ravens will be a match-up nightmare for the Redskins.

We need to run the ball early and often. The Redskins give up nearly 6 yards a carry. We should have lots of 2nd and short yardage situations and opportunities for clock-eating drives. We can't get pass happy or too behind that we have to pass all the time.

It'll be good to have Stanley back. And Lewis. I live in Northern VA and listen about the Redskins all week on the local stations. They can put up some points and have some good weapons and a pretty good quarterback, but we really shouldn't lose this game coming up. I'm pretty confident the defense can do its job. Washington has no defensive line so West should have a good day and the receivers should be able to get downfield. Flack should have enough time to get it to them. I really don't want to hear them gloat on the radio during my commute next week.

We haven't even gotten Dumervil on the field yet.

It looks like Hester may have been a good signing. He may break a couple this year if they kick any more to him.

I have West and Forsett in Fantasy and am thinking of playing both over Jeremy Hill, who's going up against the Still Curtain. I'm not sure though.

I'd feel better if Za'Darius was playing but it'll be interesting to see what Judon and Correa do too. Hope Z is back the week after.

I'm really interested (and excited) to see how all the new parts play individually and together. Not that I'm racing to get through the summer, but I'm looking forward to training camp and exhibition games to see how everyone does. I think it's going to be a pretty good year.
