"It takes hard work, everyday to make it in the NFL. Some young guys don't make that commitment right away (or never). It's easy for a young player to get drafted, have a pocketful of money, hang with your boys and not put in that hard work everyday. Word is he showed up not in shape in Cleveland, didn't put the work in to get into shape and didn't take learning the playbook seriously. Tennessee gave him a chance but if you play 2 games and have 2 fumbles in 16 carries, that's not going to endear you with the coaches.
Also, looking back, having Bernard Pierce as your mentor may not have been the wisest choice.Hopefully it's just a maturity issue and he will get his head right or he ends up as just another tale of wasted talent."
