I live out of state and thus wont be able to watch the ravens games unless I go to a sports bar or pay the outrageous price for Sunday Ticket, I saw gamepass offers game replays. My question was if say the ravens play this Sunday, would they post that game to watch as a replay a day or two after it airs? Or are the replays only from last season and they wont post any current games for replays? I'm wondering how it works. If they post the current games for replay, I can go a day or two to watch the game, wont matter to me.

There is a huge difference between 5 minutes of practice in pads and reporting it right away and calling it quits than deflategate where you had a player intentionally trying to get an advantage on the opposing team and then cover it up by trying to destroy the evidence...
I still like how Patriot fans in comment sections are calling for the Ravens to lose a draft pick like they did. Thing is both are far off from each other. And losing one week of OTA's is way more than fair for each side. I don't think the Ravens gained more from that boneheaded mistake of 5 minutes in pads than what they would've learned from 3 days of OTA's. Plus even with pads on there was no contact. I still don't understand the whole 'cant wear pads during OTA's' crap. As long as they aren't taking each other's heads off I don't see the big deal. Again some of these NFLPA rules and regulations are stupid in my opinion.
I like how some pats fans are calling the ravens cheaters because of this lol. Like they (a team that has had a history of trying to bend the rules/cheat) have any right to label us cheaters, when the stuff their team has done hasn't come any close to just having pads on during a rookie OTA. Just shows even more how unbearable pats fans are. They're so blinded by their organizations ways ("patriot way" hahahahaha) that they fail to see it.
My other point is people are constantly yelling because we didn't get him, like its going to change something, or it's going to take us back in time where we draft him. I get some people are upset, but sometimes it's best to just move on. Some are acting like they're whole world just went up in flames or sonething. I wanted us to trade up for ramsey, but you don't see me yelling or mad because we didn't get my favorite player to draft this year.

And i dont think anyone would take the position that Correa is the better player or has more potential than Jack.... i mean maybe someone out there thinks so, but even watching for just a few minutes one pops off the screen.
My point is, it's football. Anyones career can end at any moment with just one hit. If you start taking players off your board bc you're afraid of what might happen in the future instead of adding the most possible talent to your team - imo thats a recipe for disaster. Now, if the medical team checked it out and told the FO that its going to degenerate and its very likely he only has 3 years in the league... then ok. I can go with that. Take a potentially less talented player that can give you 4-10 years.
And if you're glad we didnt take Jack, are you also not expecting much from Suggs, Perriman, Steve Smith, Pitta, Monroe, Forsett, and Flacco? Just curious. I guess my point is if you're going to make the case for avoiding Jack, then you should also be making a case that we should be doing more to have backup plans in case the entire core of our roster cant play.
What I'm saying is that I'm not complaining why we didn't take him, based on the reports of some saying he only has 3-5 years before he will require surgery. I would rather take someone who we have an idea hasn't had an injury history, over someone that we really have no idea how long he will play. He could play a year, he could play 10 years. For me I would rather take someone who hasn't had major injury concerns in the past after what we just went through last season. Suggs and Smith are getting ready to be on their way out so it's not like they haven't been thinking of backup plans already. Flaccos recovery has been reported to be going well. So really to me the only "unknowns" would be perriman, monroe, and forsett. Pitta? No I'm not expecting much out of him but we just drafted a promising tight end last year and brought in Ben Watson. Plus we have Gilmore providing he recovers fine. Point is some people will take the chance on Jack, others (like myself) wouldnt. We all have our reasons.
Can people just stop about not getting jack already? The draft is over, it can't be redone, what's done is done. We know Ozzie didn't draft everyone's favorite player, ok move on. Honestly I'm glad we didn't take him. Why draft another guy with a possible injury issue down the road when we've had many other players with injuries. Look at last season, do you blame Ozzie for not wanting to take another player with an injury history? I don't. Hell if I was a GM and had the season the ravens did last season with injuries, id be hesitant too. All it takes is one wrong hit to that knee, and who knows how it will be damaged, and who knows then if he'll ever play again after that. Yeah we could all be singing the jags praises with their draft now, and he could get hit wrong in that knee during training camp/practice, then be out for the rest of his career. Or he could just suck period and not transition well in the NFL. Fact is we dont know how any of the drafted players will turn out yet. So how about we cool the jets until we see what happens first?
Regardless if smith was involved in a previous hit and run with the suspect, its not grounds for the suspect to murder smith and assault his wife by shooting her twice. Its called keeping your cool and being a responsible adult in the situation, something this guy couldn't obviously practice.

That too. I have to wonder if the new WRs coach they brought in might help more. Its just crazy to see all the WRs that have been picked by other teams, and we seem to almost always pick the wrong ones lol
With all the recent questioning with BP's injury status, our teams draft failure with WRs dating back with our first crack at finding a #1 WR (Travis Taylor), and our history since then of not drafting WRs well, its been making me wonder what the problem is. Why do we as a team have so many issues trying to find "that guy" when it seems like many other teams don't strike out as much as we have through our whole history. Now I'm not saying Mark Clayton was horrible (personally I think he was due to our unfortunate QB situation with Boller), It just feels like we are cursed at ever finding a true #1 WR or great WR period. Is it our scouting? Coaches? GM? (I'm not an Ozzie hater), or is it just a product of our drafting position over the past couple of years, even though teams like Pittsburg have found good WR in the later rounds?
Now, I know you don't HAVE to have a #1 WR if you have a roster of a bunch of good ones, but it does help to have that one star player at each position from time to time.
All in all it just has been making me wonder when I watch other teams play, how their WRs can just make it look so easy and go up and get balls, get YAC, and act like its nothing, while our WRs struggle for separation, miss catchable balls, and seem to have consistent injury issues.
2 hours ago, atomicfront said:If Will Hill hadn't been suspended multiple times before for this same thing he would have never been on the team to begin with. So I don't think this is unexpected. It is like signing Johnny Manziel now and getting upset that he is going to nightclubs before games. We knew what we were getting we were willing to take the risk.
I'm not saying we didn't know he was like this, but at the same time the guy has been suspended all these times, you think he would learn and try to make the most of his most recent opportunity so it doesn't happen again. Not only is he hurting the team now, but he also just screwed himself for the 3rd time. Plus didn't he say something about turning a new leaf and changing when we signed him or something?
Can we just have ONE offseason where people don't get fined or in trouble? This is starting to get irritating if it isn't already. These guys are grown men, and are getting paid big money doing something some of us could only dream of. How about they start acting like men and take advantage of their opportunities...
exactly. And with all these wildcard games being decided by feild goals it goes to show you the value of having a kicker who can come through in the clutch. We've been there before and I'd rather not have to go through that again.
Especially after seeing midway through the year all these teams who had issues with their kickers and going through the kicker carosel. It makes you appreciate what we've got
so now Tucker is a loser? Get outta here man.
The same people saying pay KO at the risk of Tucker walking, will be the same people complaining when whatever kicker we sign/draft cant make the game winning field goal and win us the game, after letting our top 5 kicker who would have made it, walk. You cant have it all people.
An all AFC game is on FOX?
ICYMI: this game has been flexed to FOX. Still at 1:00, though.
Yeah, thanks NFL. I was looking forward to watching the Ravens last game of the season, but now I can't because you moved it to a station where both the Eagles or Redskins are aired. Thanks a lot NFL. Yeah, we are having a losing season, but that's no reason to screw your fans who do like watching their team even if they are having a down season. The NFL is slowly losing me as a customer/fan by doing stupid crap like this.
I don't mean to be a debbie downer, but, weren't we all saying this at the begining of this season and then look what happened?
After this season, I'm not getting my hopes up at all. I'd rather be pleasantly surprised than be excited and get let down.
Buck Allen, that's all I got.
Shhhhhh, the football gods musn't know...
Maybe we should all just not expect anything anymore and the bad luck will stop?........maybe?....
As with all players I'll withhold judgment until I see them play on our team and our system. Sometimes a change of scenery and/or system can do wonders and be an improvement for some players. Just cause a player sucked on one team, doesn't mean he will on another team.
I don't understand why there's any outrage at all. There's plenty of people wasting money all over the world at every income level. Has nothing to do with what their profession is. Owners earned their billions to buy the teams and get in the exclusive club. Players earned their millions and everyone knows exactly how much money is going to be spent. There's a floor and a cap now. 143 million x 32 teams. Give or take a small amount. How it's spread around and distributed is up to the teams. The Dolphins for example are highly unlikely to get a roi on suh of any wins at all. He's taking up a large portion of their space in an area the team was already strong in. The Bills inexplicably give McCoy who was already well paid and under contract at 10 mil 6 mil more? Poor allocation of resources. Why these teams can't get out of their own way. Ravens will be criticized. But their way of doing things produces results.
I wouldn't say I'm outraged, I just don't get how some players would rather take a bunch of money and go to a really crappy team; instead of taking a few millions less to stay with a team that has more of a consistant shot at the SB yearly. I always thought the whole point of the NFL and playing sports is to win and win it all, so why choose to go to a team that doesn't really have a shot at going to the SB or winning a lot for that matter (not saying the 49ers don't have a shot, but it doesn't look good with key pieces leaving or retiring)?...
I love how fans are always in players pockets. How about we start comparing our jobs here to people living in shanties in 3rd world countries. By comparison we make a lot more than them, doing much easier jobs. Computers and cell phones aren't necessaries yet how many people do you know without them? My point os, you don't know these people's expenses and you only have so long to cash in.
Yeah because Im sure Suh is going to lose so much money and has so many expenses that he needs 114 million for it all....
No, your right, I don't know players expenses and such, but when I see some players buying really expensive lambos and Mercedes cars, you mean to tell me that's a big expense that's a need? Yeah, I don't have any right to tell people what to spend their money on, but open your eyes. Look at these players buying expensive cars and big huge mansions and then come back and tell me they need millions of dollars cause of expenses and such. But I guess these players (or should I say some of these players, cause it's not all) need all this money so they can live their lavish lifestyles. And no I'm not saying Torrey is like this, I'm just mentioning a few other players. I can understand they need the money for medical bills, future medical expenses due to the toll their body takes, etc; but you can't deny some players out their just blow all their money on unnecessary stuff.
He's won a chip and his name is l ready in the Ravens records books for his shirt career here. Time for him to secure his financial future. Can't be mad at him.
Securing his financial future? Really? The guy will be making millions, and baring some freak horrible injury, that's MORE than enough to secure his financial future. Most people in this world would be just fine getting by with a million or two let alone a couple million. I'm not mad at him, I just find in ridiculous how players feel they need all this money and would rather choose that sometimes over winning. Heck if I played in the league winning would be more important than my paycheck, cause at the end of the day, wins speak more than how much money you make. I could make hundreds of millions to play on a team but if keep losing and not getting anywhere I would be ticked off and could care less that I'm making 100 million dollars. Don't players play to get to the Super Bowl anymore, or is a SB win second to money now? I know he has already won a ring, but how about pushing for more rings?
Poor Torrey Smith (not financially though), leaving a solid organization like Baltimore with a top notch qb for a dysfunctional place like SF where he might or might not be catching baseball throws from Kapernik.
Hey but atleast he'll be making bank though, cause that's all that matters right? The money? Not playing for a stable team that can be contenders for many more years?
I understand it's a buisness, but you mean to tell me players would rather go to unstable or crappy teams just to make more money, instead of playing for a contender that has a shot at the SB almost every season? Makes me wonder how many of these players are really that smart...
well peterson done a lot more than spank
Yeah, I'm not advocating what Peterson did. Physically abusing a kid the way Peterson did is wrong.
I have 3 VERY well behaved boys. I mean, borderline OCD with cleanliness and politeness. And guess what? Not once have I ever hit them.
People that say slapping, spanking, using a belt, switch or whatever is okay or a proper way to discipline children just doesn't know how to properly parent. Its the easy way out. PUT IN THE FREAKIN EFFORT AND BE A PARENT!

I won't disagree with you, but I will say every kid is different. I am also a well behaved, down to earth, gentleman of a young man who knows and practices respect. I couldn't be prouder and happier of w the way my parents brought me up, and you know what? My parents spanked me, and I'm perfectly ok. I feel so many people don't like spanking because it has this negative stigma to it, or that it hurts the kids feelings. I hear the "take stuff away from them", or "put them in the corner". And yes while they make work on some, it's not the answer either, I see it everyday where I work, no one knows how to discipline a kid anymore (not saying not spanking them is the problem either). I fail to see anything wrong with spanking a kid, maybe it's just caused I was raised with it I don't Know, maybe I'm old school.
I'm sorry but this is the problem right here. My mother used to whoop my behind with a pancake spatula. It definitely taught me to respect better.
This is why most kids have no direction these days because parents can't spank their kids. I'm not saying that's the only reason they lack direction but it's a large reason they lack respect. Screaming I'm gonna count to three without doing anything, it tells children, all they are going to do is yell at me and I'll never get in trouble.
Parents should be able to correct their children how they see fit. I don't condone closed fist hitting but an open handed smacking on the butt or the back of the hand is not as barbaric as Murrica seems to believe
I agree. Not saying abusing like Peterson did is the answer, but correcting your kids sometimes requires a firm slap to the butt. I see so many parents shop where I work where they just yell at their kids, and it doesn't always work, the kids just scream louder and misbehave more. No parents seem to want to say "no" anymore or correct their kids. I was slapped many times on the butt when I was a kid and I'm not crazy, or have any issues as a result of it. I think part of it comes from the kids knowing the parents won't hit or slap them in public because they are afraid of what other people may think, so they know they can get away with acting up.

Yeah on the NFL.com its listed here in the states as $99.99 and you have it till July 31,2017. So basically almost a year subscription. At that rate it comes out to a little more than 8 dollars a month (around Netflix type rates, so not too bad). That's good then, I can just hook my tablet up to the TV and watch it or see if there is an app for it. I'd rather watch it at home than got to a sports bar or something where its so loud you can barely hear what's happening. Thanks for the replays everyone!
