From the comments on the emoji app, it is not a keyboard or emoji icons, they are pictures and they don't work well at all. I would stop the bragging before someone realizes and really blasts you for it. I'm waiting until they are real Ravens emojis, which would be really nice.
This is missing 89
Bruce, Perriman won't be beaten out by Butler, he will eventually make the most difference to the team, but Butler will make the most difference now of the rookies. I say that because he had been in the Ravens training program for a year and that counts a lot. He was looking better than Aiken in camp last year and caught everything in sight in mini camp this year. I just think he is on a mission. I think Allen will have a very good shot too. He is pro ready and a scouting service I have found to be reliable at predictions likes him now instead of being raw talent needing development he can go immediately.
I'm going with the under dogs I see with the best chances.
Red shirt "rookie" Jeremy Butler
What those executives fail to mention is joe flaccos recievera. Joe has never had a number one receiver. And that 2012 was not an anomoly. Joe has done this nearly every post season. If lee evans catches that pass, we would have two super bowls. Joe doesnt have a megatron or antonio Brown or DT. He works with was he has.
Or if Boldin or TJ either catch one, it could have been three and the steelers fake win (only one foot down in the SB) could have been prevented.
Correct, hence why there is differences in statistical production just as easily as there are differences in W/L record.
Hence, why the players in tier 1, by most accounts, consistently do both. Aaron Rodgers consistently puts up great statistics, and when he's on the field, his team consistently wins football games. Same for guys like Brady, Manning, etc.
The aspect holding Joe outside of the "tier 1" of QBs is that great statistical production, just like the things holding guys like Romo and Ryan (who have the statistical production) out of the "tier 1" of QBs is likely the W/L record and/or lack of postseason success.
Tier 1 QBs have both the pretty consistent great statistical production, along with the consistent on-field success of their teams. They pretty much clearly outlined the rationale for their choices, and I have no issue with them, just like they clearly outlined their rationale for Joe being in tier 2, and again, I have no issue with it.
I understand the desire to explain the lack of great statistical production from Joe via any method you choose, with the most prevalent likely being the lack of a consistent OC and/or lack of consistent high-end receivers. All valid points, except this isn't a poll that was taken to project QBs based on what they would do under optimal conditions. Its based on what they've actually done, not what they could have done if they had the same OC every year or if Calvin Johnson played for the Ravens.
The only thing I would argue is that they included "needs help" in the definition, so if you are deprived of weapons you need help but are surrounded by pro bowl receivers you are great. There is subjective interpretation by the evaluators. For Joe it kind of works out by real Quarterback Rating but for others it did not like Romo (real QBR was number 2 last year).
I think that the WR's shake out as such. 1. SSS 2. BPerriman 3. Marlon 4. Kamar 5. Camp 6. Dandre Carter (I think Camp makes the teams for his ST contributions). I think Carter's athleticism and play making ability moves him into that final WR spot. I think Waller is placed on the PS and we look to develop him for next season or if there is an injury. (Butler, Worthy, and Robinson end up gone) I do think there is a chance we bring in a veteran (not named reggie wayne) if we don't like the ST situation or if we don't like the way Marlon/Kamar/ etc perform... but that will be a camp time addition! Probably after the 1st round of cuts! It will be a heated battle at WR again this year but I think the stakes are a little higher as many of them are not rookies anymore!
Camp I don't know if he will make it due to injury. I think Butler will make the team. Waller and Carter I think could be red shirted like Butler was last year. Butler I think may be the Ravens sleeper this year, but maybe not by the time camp ends. Someone who catches everything in sight will have a place on the team. If Camp is like Welker then he is concussion prone. It will be a all about who are the best 53.
On a side but, I really wish the NFL would expand to 60 man rosters and dress everyone for the game.
"Stop the run.
Get after the quarterback.
Heroes baby!"

No thumbs? Let's see if I remind everyone who said it in the first place.
This was all set up by Goodell to protect the league from a congressional investigation. Belichick ran the whole thing. The total fine was only $250K and a fourth round pick more than spygate.
They exonerated the team and Belichick specifically so they wouldn't be repeated offenders.
Belichick in return tanked his draft (hurt 1st rounder, 5th rounder in the 2nd round, long snapper in the fifth round who won't play for 5 years due to navy commitment).
But the best is that he literally 'cut a corner' hours before each major turning point this (Denard the morning of the Wells report released, Arrington the morning of the Patriots punishment release, JAG corner cut the night before Kraft's morning accepted his punishment). They all made no sense except as a metaphor, Bill was told that to keep his name out of this that 'all the corners he cuts now' will be the ones he is told to and if he tries anything funny then he will be forced to cut more players. They will threaten him with the Rams SB walk through tape.
When he was threatened by the players association for illegally keeping his corner out of voluntary practice for a month that afternoon he was forced to cut Tim Wright again making no sense. Wright was immediately claimed off waivers by the first priority team the bucs. This whole thing is bigger than what we have been led to believe.
Is this a metaphor for Suggs? This is a strange article, but they gotta fill space in the off season
Happy Father's day to all fathers in the flock, and those who are not.
To illustrate the lunacy, that SI writer Patriot lover also thinks the Steelers are going to be at the top of the pack. Can't think of his name right now. It's Nonsense though. Likely setting up the excuse for the Patriots loosing to the steelers week one when they have to trot out Jimmy Garapolo.
Last year he was doing better than Aiken in training camp before he was redshirted. Looks like he took it seriously. Then their was that interview off-site with him where he compaired himself most closely to Boldin. I think that was before he joined the Ravens and said he likes to be physical and make the tough catches. I'm glad he is doing well. I'm glad they are all doing well.
I won't worry about Perryman dropping balls till mid season, and then only if it is constant and directly results in multiple losses, same at the one year point. Otherwise I'll wait until 1 year in plus the first two or three games of the 2016 season and then evaluate. Even then I'll look for progress. I was crazy about the Ravens picking him worried about drops but after kind OP's directed me to scouting reports on players who matched his report (OBJ and Arian Foster) I rethought my approach to judging him.
Steelers fans have over reacted to their success since the 70's. It is not a real surprise when you consider that they only had 8 winning seasons in their first 39 years.
And the non - catch in the endzone the last superbowl they "won"
I'm really pulling for KLM and Urban. They were both crushing it last year in camp before their injuries. Imagination is worse than the real thing, so I still cringe when I think about the article I read describing what happened to KLM and the screaming.... I wish you both nothing but the best this year starting with health. Wow if we can get through camp without significant injury, look out.
At least Tomlin is not a Patriot.
the real reason for the series in basketball and baseball is simple...MONEY. Why not spread it out over 7 games and make millions more thru TV and attendance. Its all about the green.
Sami [who obviously studied under my favorite filmmaker, David Lynch, in use of camera angles] you are my kind of cynic.
McJacket makes good points, plus one or both of those guards will net us up some high round comp picks. Don't forget that.
Everyone must remember Field Yates is a Patriots shill. Every article that comes out from him has a Patriots slant and perspective. If he thinks it's a good idea then it is likely bad for us.
What I needed to add earlier is that the Patriots media presence is like a Metastatic cancer. They train the reporters as beat writers and the loyal ones they place in key outlets to use later. The training is that if you are ever critical of the team you never get another story. You get critical information as long as you push their story lines and act like a good dog. If you are critical you are ostracized and will never get anything good from them. If you keep being negative about the team they will punish you with fake stories to destroy your reputation as a journalist who provides accurate inside information. They are a tumor generating machine as far as the media goes. Think I'm making this up? Then why did Trent Dilfer profusely apologize to them for being critical (literally just repeating what crying Brady told him and Young on the sideline minutes before) . They demand apologies for anything critical and Trent is now dead to them. NFL network likely made Trent do it at the behest of the Patriots. Cancerous organization with institutionalized cheating at every level. Field Yates writes for NFL Boston which the Patriots have a stake in, that guy is a propagandist not a journalist. - end rant thanks for letting me vent.
Sami it's not just the money, it is the roster slot we could use on a young guy we can develop. That is the real waste with Welker.

I really wanted to see him play last year, I'm looking forward to seeing him hit some people, just not Joe.
I like our current receiving corps.

On android that can kind of be prevented with Xprivacy, but still, that is the most disturbing thing, tracking you all the time. We don't want to be chiped and tracked and traced.
The second thing is that how hard can it be to hire someone to actually develp emoji icons? Why screw up something this simple? I was all ready to go and install it, but I think I'll wait until it is fixed. Plus they didn't even put 89 in there (or apparently even let you string 8 and 9 together), so there is that. Come on, he made the offense last year and was giving out tickets to PSL owners this year.
I really hope that Ravens web people read this and get the problem fixed by the time the season starts.
