  1. I'm not trynna be that guy...but SOOO many people are hyping us. "NE is scared of BAL". I'ma say it now, come gameday, NE's gonna wanna do more than just win. They're gonna do their best to try and bury and embarrass us. Definitely not saying they will, but they're not gonna be playin just to get the W. I'm jus sayin

If they try to play to humiliate us, that will be their downfall. I just want us to play better than they do to the extent where we win at the end. The rest is meaningless.

  2. We always want Joe to prove himself, but for this game, I'm looking for our WRs to show us that they're the real deal! Be better than their corners.

IMHO they don't have to show they are better, just show they are good enough to beat them in a team win. Though, maybe that is showing they are better.... Let's just win the game one play at a time, total focus.

  3. I have a confession to make. I like the Ravens v. Pats rivalry better than BAL vs. PIT rivalry. BAL vs PIT is physical, but BAL vs NE? It's like Batman vs Joker, Ying and Yang, Cat vs Dog, Light vs Dark, etc

I like it too. Street fighters vs the martial artists. Bruce Willis vs the die hard bad guy.

  4. I would like to ask if you have any advice for me on talking to my daughter about playing football. I don't know if she will even want to play sports, but I would like to set the stage where she is not set in the trap where girls are relegated to field hockey, softball and the like. If you have time I'm all ears. She is also only six so I guess I'm looking for kind of general setting her up to look at all sports for herself as an athlete and not just football is something that her...

I played soccer for Juniata College, if you are saying what is that, don't worry, it just means you aren't Church of the Brethren and didn't live in the middle of PA. All this started when my daughter told me that someday her brother could play for the Ravens, and I got worried that I was limiting her. Thanks again, I will likely not be around for awhile because my newest is coming today or tomorrow.

Thank you again for the suggestions. Soccer is a great idea, if anyone says that game isn't physical, they never had to play Lancaster Bible, those guys were tough. I told my wife that if she delivered our third today during the Ravens game we had to name him Raven River (otherwise she is going to likely pick the name). Thanks again!

Thanks sami! Sounds like she is not going to like to play, while she is tomboy like in some ways, she likes tools and working on things, she can't stand falling over on a bouncy ball, so I think she won't stand for getting knocked down by someone else.
