  1. reed20fence I knew you got it, I didn't really know but I knew based on your collective posts, your post here nails it.
  2. I would like to ask if you have any advice for me on talking to my daughter about playing football. I don't know if she will even want to play sports, but I would like to set the stage where she is not set in the trap where girls are relegated to field hockey, softball and the like. If you have time I'm all ears. She is also only six so I guess I'm looking for kind of general setting her up to look at all sports for herself as an athlete and not just football is something that her...

Oh and you can get her started in soccer. That's a good way to get her team oriented.

Thank you again for the suggestions. Soccer is a great idea, if anyone says that game isn't physical, they never had to play Lancaster Bible, those guys were tough. I told my wife that if she delivered our third today during the Ravens game we had to name him Raven River (otherwise she is going to likely pick the name). Thanks again!

I played soccer for Juniata College, if you are saying what is that, don't worry, it just means you aren't Church of the Brethren and didn't live in the middle of PA. All this started when my daughter told me that someday her brother could play for the Ravens, and I got worried that I was limiting her. Thanks again, I will likely not be around for awhile because my newest is coming today or tomorrow.

  3. I liked the 9am game. And hearing the entire crowd reaction to that big hit was great! I just was wondering why all those seats were taped off for that game. Royal box seats or something?
  4. @dorota thanks for the perspective of a fan outside the US. Also, the dolphins have made it a habit to torch the Patriots when they play in Miami. Not everyone plays well in the high humidity, especially early in the year. Baltimore is very humid, this is lost on a lot of people who don't live there. This is why Cal Ripkin's steak in baseball is even more amazing, finding any other oriole to play even an entire season with out a day off is unusual.
  5. I wouldn't mind seeing the steelers Ravens in London, that might be kind of cool, especially getting back to the rock and stick fights like I believe last Sunday portends. However the PIT BAL games are too valuable and won't be moved over there.
