  1. I hope Butler and Brown make the practice squad. I think that they are trying to sneak in Butler but he won't make it. I doubt that Butler will make it because the Patriots are in desolate territory and desperately need WR help. They will steal him away because he catches everything thrown to him that is catchable like Boldin. That is just want the Patriots need and want. I just think it would be miserable to see him there. Maybe the sneaking him to the squad will help. His problem is getting separation, he is tough and has glue like hands and the ball sticks when he is hit. But he was always hit right when /after he caught the ball in the preseason games I watched. I can't tell if that was on him or Schaub and Renner. He was even breaking tackles on some of those plays. I just think he needs reps to get some initial separation. Seriously he is a rookie (though maybe his red shirt year was a "red shirt" year of you know what I mean) he just needs a little time. If It was next year without SSS he may have made the squad. All said and done he is too similar to Aiken and Brown and even Campanero in some way, but possession receivers move the ball, better to have someone who can catch and then hold onto the ball than Lee Evans. Good luck Jeremy! Selfishly I hope you make our practice squad and then to regular games mid season. Unselfishly I hope you make any other first team than the Steelers or the Patriots. Thank you for putting all
  2. Good luck Waller!
  3. As I told my Bills friend that Ty will be great for them. He couldn't show it here because they had Joe and were not going to redesign the offense for him, but Rex can. He also learned a lot under Gary last year. Good luck Ty! Make the absolute best of it.
  4. Way to go Ty! Sincerely, Good luck Carter! Hope to see you on an NFC team!
  5. No, not just you. The line should have done something, like the Chargers did “That guy was on top of Philip, and that’s our quarterback,” Dunlap said, via U-T San Diego. “I protect the quarterback at all costs.”
  6. Hen it was likely a fast finger. It wasn't me this time but it happens a lot on phones and tablets.
  7. Also I just found out that Waller is the grandson of Fats Waller, my favorite 40's jazz artist. He was so good he would sell his songs 4-5 times each because the record companies knew that if they didn't buy it they would loose money. He called his morning pint of gin his 'liquid ham and eggs'.
  8. Bright spot is Renner. If he does well next week, the Ravens will have to consider keeping him, if he does well the next two weeks Schaub may be in job jeopardy. Was he considered a first round pick before his shoulder was hurt in college?
  9. After Suggs and Harbs yelling at them for the bad call I think the refs were like, you know I don't know if any crew has ever thrown a flag every third play, let's just go for it.
  10. That would be Mike Tomlin (seriously, look it up), so kind of a conflict of interest.
  11. I'm not a doctor (actually I have a couple, but I'm not an allopathic medical doctor), but reading up on Osgood shattler makes me get a pit in my stomach. It is a childhood disease frequently found in athletes but can sometimes have lingering sequella in adults that range from mild to potentially severe. There is no sense speculating on scenarios, that is why I'm just praying. With the way Harbs is talking (and I don't blame him or the doctors at all) I'm prepared for six weeks and hopefully not months because that would mean that his season is over. You can neg me if you want, but the only thing that I can do is pray for him, it really does work, if you want some of the best case studies, get the book ' The psychobiology of mind body healing' by Ernest Rossi which is the most scientific study of the area that I know of. I forget if Ernest was an MD or just PhD but he was the student of Milton Erikson MD who legitimized hypnosis in western medical practice.
  12. Moderator #3 - somedays no good deed goes unpunished. I swear I should never try on a phone or tablet. If you are directly over the correct button it hits the wrong one. I have to stay way to the side of the button I want to get it right. It is not this site, it is just about all the ones I frequent.
  13. I'm sorry RavensBaltimore, I fat fingered that thumbs down, it was supposed to be thumbs up.
  14. I'm praying for Perriman, just to heal well and be OK. If you are so inclined, I invite you to join me. Get well Breshad, we are all pulling for you.
  15. Does anyone have the link to the article where Butler said he thinks the player he is most like is Boldin? It was either right before or right after last year's draft. He looked better than Aiken last year in camp. Is it just me, or does the receiving corps look totally different since Steve Smith Sr and Bobby Ingram got here? Different in a good way.
  16. Danny, you are right about Ray, do you remember that game about 4 years ago where it looked like he tore his triceps and kept playing despite not being able to move his arm? He stayed in and the next play he was the only one to make a tackel on a guy and had to horse collar the man. Then the rest of the D realized that and picked up their play and he got something at halftime and his arm looked better, but even the announcers said they thought that he tore his triceps and kept playing.
  17. I dont think Tyson or Guy aew not getting kudos. I think we tend to pull for the kids right now in preseason for them to get a shot and to see what kind of upside they have. You are right though availability is the best asset a player possesses.
  18. Dorota, no deer antler is not allowed. This is the case where I think doctors should be allowed to use enhanced treatment methods, to help these guys heal faster and better under strict medical supervision and guidance. I don't think making them leave the country like Manning for his neck, just to get the best treatment possible is reasonable or the best for the player and society.
  19. KLM missed two years, Brent can get back from this. Just praying for his quick recovery. I hope you hear how much everyone is pulling for you Brent, we are all in your corner.
  20. Sad news, this kid looks like a monster with a face that could charm anyone. Hang in there and keep fighting Brent! We are all pulling for you and want to see you on the field. Maybe in 12 weeks...
  21. I'm most concerned about Williams sitting out from the eye gouge. I hope that it is not serious.
  22. I hope all the injured Ravens heal quickly with no long term problems.
  23. I'm most concerned about the eye gouge.
  24. Never trust John when it comes to injury reports on Ravens players. That is a good thing, BTW. John is using a tactic to obfuscate the true nature of the injuries so opponents are misled and he can gain Tactical advantage. Preseason is practise time for coaches too....
